when it showed type password to decrypt storage, i tried to flash.
i am not an expert in these things. somehow this happened.
phone is switching on , showing this message : type password to decrypt storage. cannot fix this as i have wiped all data and flashing went wrong.
xperia m single sim, bootloader unlocked
tried flashing stock rom, kernel etc
please help

It's called ebola. You can't solve this problem by any means. Only way is change motherboard. So I guess, it's the end for your Xperia M journey.

Having some issues. The Xperia LT15i keeps on loading the boot up screen and repeat the screen. I can't boot into the system! What's happening? Any way to solve the issue?

He's flashing the ftf that relocks the bootloader, which works across all 2011 devices.

My xperia z1 c was working fine until i mistakenly flashed custom Kernel with flashtool, and after that it's stuck on SONY Logo and nothing else, as far as i know my bootloader status is Unlock Bootloader Allower:NO, now i tried many times to flash with flashtool but process always aborted. Are You sure You are selecting the correct FTF to flash? Because I don't see any such file selected in flashtool log.

You can't have unlocked bootloader if your status is allowed:No try to flash stock ftf or only stock kernel should be fine

The fact that the logo comes up means that it's just a software problem, and fixable.
A little bit more reading about locked bootloaders might be helpful, I'd start here
Sounds like you are having issues with flashtool, so I would just start at the basics and try Sony PC companion
Start with the update button, then 'repair' option, follow the instructions on the screen.

Im using xperia z1 compact running android 5.0.2 dstrikerz1 twrp recovery.
I try to update through Sony companion
But it said " there is modified software cannot be update"
I try to update to marsmallow and the bad thing is i forgot to charge the phone in the minimum requirements
Not boot properly always stock in boot and start again until the battery become hot.
There is no OS on my phone right now
I delete through Fastboot command
Any suggestion how to fix it?
Properly method please.

When I said use PC companion, it wasn't to update it. It will never update because the file structure is broken.
You need to REPAIR with PC companion.
Try to follow instructions here

Update Flashtool and try again. Mark sure your ftf is right one. If you are getting flash mode OK then FT will probably take care of it.

- Download ROM zip onto your SD card with computer, (new update to Dstriker is nice)
- Follow steps 2 and 3 from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62853364&postcount=1 - you'll need the boot and recovery files in that thread.
- Reboot recovery and flash zip.

I have a similar problem: I tried to root my friend's device but I messed up. Maybe you'll be able to help me?
tl,dr: Phone bricked and restarts. FTF or FT wrong version? Code attached
My device (also Z1 compact) runs on lollipop and I ensured USB Debugging was on (foreshadowing: Now it says it's off). With Flashtool vers. 0.9.23.1 I tried to flash the FTF D5503_14.4.A.0.108_EURO. What I did was excluding kernel and partition so the data wouldn't be overwritten (maybe that was the mistake?). Anyway, it was stuck in starting mode - turning itselft off after the Sony sign and restarting again.
I then panicked and tried to flash the FTF with every box checked: Started a little bit longer only to restart again while caught in the starting animation. So I tried to flash the stock FTF which I think to be the D5503_14.4.A.0.108_EVO (unsure though) but it didn't change anything. Meanwhile Flashtool tells me, that USB Debugging is turned off (see last lines of copied code).
Can anyone help me pointing out what I can do? Maybe with
the correct FTF
the correct version of FT
the correct boxes I need to check
pointing to the stick I have to hit myself with on the head
something else?
I sure hope that someone can help me, although this thread is fairly old and so is the mobile.

edit: I helped myself out: Someone (I think it was here) mentioned it earlier. Got to sonymobile.com, download the Xperia Companion and choose to repair your phone. Be aware: All your data is lost.
Is there any way to restore the data I just lost? I have hear about some programs, but which ones are best? And how can I root my phone to be able to use the restore programs properly? I am nervous about the next try.. :laugh:

Re- install fastboot.
re-connect your mobile.
if same problem occurs, then change the USB cable. You can also reinstall the FASTBOOT AND ADB drivers.
or use another PC.

Try to disable set maxsize for buffer and packet size, then try to reflash again. Sometimes that make error when flashing, and this only happen if you're using the latest from flashtool version

Flashing Xperia M C1905 with flashtool does not work

I have an Xperia M C1905 and it is unusable due to endless popups. Due to these popups I cannot even perform a factory reset in the settings menu, the phone will eventually hang. Same thing if I try to boot into safe mode by pressing the power and volume down button simultaneously until the boot process is complete. Due to endless popups it is impossible to get anywhere and e.g. uninstall apps that might be part of the problem. I know that I would need 15.4.A.1.9-R6C / CDA 1274-8220 / Vodafone ES (Spain). I am unable to find that specific .ftf, all I have found here is a customised UK-Version and a so called CE-Version here. Anyway, I thought I might give those FTF's a try with flashtool (Under Linux Fedora 25), but that does not work. Here is the output from the UK-Version (CE was practically the same):

Is this error due to the FTF not being the exact one actually needed (Vodafone ES)? I do have USB debugging turned on in my settings. I also tried flashing again excluding "cache.sin" in the flashtool options, but then next time the error would be given with "kernel.sin".

Flashtool firmware flash failure

Hello everyone. Few days before my phone xperia xa1(dual) rebooted automatically. After the reboot the phone was completely stuck at SONY logo and nothing happens. Then after i tried to flash firmware using sony flashtool. But flashing stops after a few steps when phone is connected in flashmode. I was using a latest version of flashtool also tried old versions of flashtools. I have also tried old version firmware and customized version of another region but nothing helps. I have unlocked bootloader but usb debugging is off. The code that flashtool gives is:
