Incoming calls interrupts on-going activity - EMUI8 - Honor 7X Questions & Answers

Hello,
I recently upgraded to EMUI 8 in my Honor 7x phone. After the upgrade i noticed that the incoming calls are interrupting my activities; that is, it overlaps any ongoing activity and forces me to answer just like the old Android version. I am trying to disable or enable the peek up notification but no luck so far.
Could you please help me? It’s really irritating

[Q] Problems with making and receiving calls - HTC Touch Pro 2 - Froyo FRX06

As the title says:
I'm currently trying to run the FRX06 release on my Touch Pro 2 RHOD 100. The problem is that when receiving and making calls the call seems to "go through" but there is no sound in the speaker but noise, and the microphone is not working.
Since making and receiving calls is a very vital part of my phone usage , I would like to know if any of you have experienced the same problem or have a solution for this?

EDIT:
I found a solution. I followed the guide for android on SD-card and now it works - sort of... I still have to hit the speaker button when receiving calls - but that one is to live with. Besides that I havn't found any "show-stopper" yet. Or at least the bugs that I have found is nothing compared to how annoying WM 6.5 is....

Watch doesn't stop ringing when call answered on my phone

When I answer a call on my phone for some reason my watch keeps vibrating to tell me I have a call. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to stop it? As its a bit off putting trying to take a call when my watch is permanently vibrating.
im using iphone and i have a same issue
i just decline the call and it doesnt effect the call already taken
but im also concerned about this
Good to know I can decline it and it won't end the call. Thanks.
Believe this to be a bug in Android Wear, other Android Wear watches have this issue as well.
Solved the issue, by switching off Doze. Doze was also responsible for preventing 'OK Google' functionaility from working on the watch. Do they bug test Android updates?

Problem with Android 8.1 Beta and WhatsApp

Hello everyone, someone had problems with the Android 8.1 beta and the WhatsApp application? Since I updated, by pressing Play and taking the phone to my ear to listen to an audio message, it sounds through the external speaker (not the internal one). As if that were not enough, by plugging the proximity sensor the audio sounds with the volume of the Telephone application (not the multimedia one), which is usually quite high. If I discover the sensor, it sounds with the multimedia volume. Is it just a beta problem? Did someone else have this problem? Thank you all!
Sensor
I had the same problem. And issues with the camera too !! The photos with flash get black.
The final version of Android Oreo is also having this problem
Yes, same problem but I don't know a fix.
Did you report this to Google?
Same here, 8.1 final, got the OTA yesterday. A factory reset didn't help. I found this post on google forums about the issue: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/nexus/mlFRoZ07yq8;context-place=forum/nexus
I have the same problem, but in additon to that, while listening to a voice (coming out from the speaker whilt near my ear), if I receive any notification, the voice switches to the earpiece.
Before the OS update it was the othwr way arround, the voice was coming out of the earpiece correctly, but switches to the soeakerphone when I reveive any notification
I am using a nexus 5x
This is a known issue. It was first noticed / introduced in Android 8.1, around Dec/17.
It's not a problem with Android per say, but how the app implement or work with the platform. In other words, the app need to get fixed, adjusted to the new platform. Other apps, like Google Allo and Telegram have been reported to have the same problem, by some users.
I submitted a bug report myself to Whastapp and got this response:
Hi,
Thanks for your message.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are aware of the issue and we are working on fixing it in a future update of WhatsApp. Unfortunately, we can't comment on any future release dates at this time.
Best Regards,

Lot's of other people have experienced this problems as evident in googles forum. I'm new so I can't post the link here.
I recommend submitting a bug report in Whatsapp to influence them to make an effort to fix this as soon as possible. It's been 3 months already. To submit, in Whatsapp got to settings> Help> Contact us. Post a quick description of the problem, click next.

S9 Android Pie Whatsapp Vibration settings

Hi Guys,
I just moved on from my beloved S7 Edge to the S9 with Android Pie 9.0. Loving the phone absolutely except for this annoying issue with whatsapp notification settings.
Basically, when I put my phone into silent mode (Vibrate only) for calls and texts, and my whatsapp also starts vibrating for messages even though the in-app settings for vibration is set to off. The phone's settings are overriding whatsapp's notifcation settings for vibration.
Any idea????
same issue, reinstall dont solves...
Same problem here. Any solution?

Galaxy Watch4: Intermittent display of WhatsApp incoming calls

Dear all,
my apologies if this topic alredy exists in this forum.
My problem:
I'm pairing my Watch4 via BT with Note8, Android version 9.
WhatsApp text messages show up on the watch as expected, but calls don't. I get notified about missed calls, but those specific notifications show themselves as that orange dot only. No vibration or sound. I could stand having this issue if at least the "missed call" notification would work well.
Here's the odd thing; every now and then I actually do get that call notification, with the opportunity to decline. But not very often and there is no behavior pattern whatsoever. Seems totally random.
It didn't work with my old Galaxy Active Watch either, so I'm suspecting that the problem might be with the phone, not the watch.
I would so much appreciate some good advice on how to troubleshoot this. Or at least an explanation of the cause.
Anyone...?
