Relock and Unlock

I have unlocked my phone via the Sony website and I was wondering, if I relock my phone, would I be able to unlock it again via the Sony site?
Pretty sure you can (you don't need the site if you kept the unlock code). You won't get your DRM back by relocking though

P2 OEM Unlock in dev settings

Hi, recently I switched from Nexus 5 to Lenovo P2 but the phone I got has bloatware from T-Mobile and they don't seem to hurry with releasing Nougat to my phone
I noticed that in dev setting there's an option to OEM unlock the device, does it unlock the bootloader or just permits me to unlock it manually?
If so, after unlocking all I'll need to do will be just to flash TWRP and that's it?

Click to collapse
This option only allows you to unlock it, it doesn't actually unlocks the bootloader
I asked a bootloader unlocking from my device. If after the 14 days period I don't unlock it with fastboot, do you think my warranty is still valid ?
I am thinking oft buying this Phone but rooting is very important to me. What I have found out so far is that you have to unlock your bootloader to install TWRP. Your warranty will officially be void.
Now my question: has sb send his phone to repair in Germany? Does Lenovo really check their database for your phone? And what about this 14 days wait?
Thanks in advance

Why can't I unlock my boot loader

I thought I've had this device nearly 2 years now so time to unlock and root as the custom ROMs are looking great.
But if I go on Sony page and enter my details to unlock my bootloader it informs me my device is not unlockable.
What are my other options?
Simply means your device is not unlockable. That's it. I'm guessing you got this through a phone carrier.
Yep through Vodafone, so is there no other option
Nope. It's done. Bootloader can't be unlocked at all. Even if you try to unlock bootloader anyway using flashtool, it will ask you to enter unlock key, which you can obtain only through sony website.
Thanks for your help maybe I should just upgrade to a new phone then only reason kept it stock was for warranty

Is it possible to flash a bootloader?

Since the bootloader itself is a piece of software. Is it possible to flash an already unlocked bootloader on a locked phone to unlock it?
Is it possible to unlock bootloader with existing Lenovo id which I use earlier to unlock my other Lenovo P2 bootloader?

unlock bootloader

The Huawei bootloader unlocking sites seems not to be working. Any workaround?
