[Q] Does M support BLE?

Hi.
Please tell me,
I have stock Sony, Orange branded 4.3 android version. Not rooted, clean. I read on Sony device papers that Xperia M supports Bluetooth 4.0. Android supports it since 4.3 . But it seems like it doesn't support Bluetooth Low Energy protocol I care about. Is it possible that another Android version (eg. CM) will support it? Does anybody used it with any BLE device for sure? How is this possible that my phone sees target device but cannot further communicate?
Thanks,
Baftek
I always thought Low Energy protocol were a mandatory requirement for Bluetooth 4.0 support...
Sorry, I know this is quite an old post, but I was now running into the same issue (owning an XperiaM and needing BLE compatibility) and read this:
https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-M-M-dual/Does-Xperia-M-support-Bluetooth-BLE/td-p/673259/page/5
Long story short, BLE is NOT supported but will be with a future SW update.
Does anyone know if installing CWM will unlock BLE support?

[Q] Sony T3 / C3 dual-sim t55u - Lollipop or CM update - (China model)

Small update 8/3.
My phone:
Device:
Sony T3 s55u dual-sim LTE
China Unicom version
19.2.1.A.0.72
Phone was bought from China. Pre-installed sony come with Baidu search enabled android and by default phone block installation of Google Services app, which enable google apps to function in the phone.
This is pretty useless for any English speaker so I want to install Android Lollipop - Cyanogen.
It turns out that Sony has decided not to support this version for lollipop - xperiablog - 2015/03/06
I have also realized that this is probably same hardware (or very close) to C3 Dual model in english speaking markets. I trust that same ROM would work in both of these two simcard phones.
Currently Sony's unlockbootloader software does not regognize these models in their website - developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
I've tried to root with:
- Sony's unlockbootloader
- rootkitxperia
All above fails. Phone should allow rooting according to settings. It seems very hard to find any instructions on how to do upgrade successfully.
Any advice/update much appreciated.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Not Sure. It is probably same model, made for Chinese market as a C3.

A705F model - no NFC?

Can someone verify that there is no NFC in A705F model?
If so, is it a hardware or firmware thing? I mean, is the A705F device has no NFC sensor in it, or is there a firmware I can flash (like from A705FN model) to make it work?
Thank you.
It's a hardware issue. The phone must have a NFC chip in order to use it.

Carrier Aggregation

Does redmi 6 pro support carrier aggregation ? The chipset does support it but i think xiaomi has disabled it .
Does it work in custom rom or Mi A2 lite ?
On cacombos.com this device is not yet listed so please submit your device log to cacombos.com/contribute so then could listed and see if it support Carrier Aggregation.
I think this device do not support well due limitation of RF. Example A2 have very limited support: https://cacombos.com/device/M1805D1SG

I don't know about mi a2 lite , but the stock ROM on R6P doesn't support it .my carrier supports it though . Chances are r6p doesn't have the additional hardware required .
