[FRP Lock] Help me UnBrick my Unlocked Honor 7x India Variant - Honor 7X Questions & Answers

I was trying to get hands on RR (second version) , I went to developer setting enabled USB Debugging Booted into Fastboot mode and while i was flashing system.img. I noticed it shows Bootloader Unlocked Red and FRP locked Green I happened to disable developer option in process of usb debuging which might have unchecked OEM Unlocking
Now while flashing i get this
sending sparse 'system' 1/4 (460796 KB)...
OKAY [ 23.100s]
writing 'system' 1/4...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 23.131s
I can neither flash RR or Stock system.img but i can access my TWRP recovery ( Oreo)
Any way to fix it? Can i flash RR or Stock system.img in TWRP?
TIA

Speculation. Bit as long as twrp is working and bootloader open. Best thing is to go with stock . That way hopefully can access Dev options to allow frp unlock.
As long as frp is in locked DO NOT try flash stock recovery till last resort. Because twrp will give more options than stock. And will not be able to return to twrp with frp in locked state.
Of course it seems might be best option to flash a full ota(specific for your device). And that will need no-check recovery, so is tough choice

Oh, there is an frp-unlock.zip file that can be installed with TWRP. That should fix the lock.
As for the boot looping, I suppose something you flashed caused it.
After flashing the frp-unlock use hwota and go to next stock ota

I Used this guide at it helped me been stuck on that locked state for almost 2 days now , thanks for the reply.

can anyone help or point me in the right direction.
i have the us variant 7x and today there was oct update. after updating the phone rebooted and was stuck on honor logo.
i was able to get fastboot but not recovery. i tried adb to reboot recovery and it did not work, as if the recovery was not there.
so i then decided i wold try to reflash stock firmware. obviously i neede to unlock boot loader to do this so i unlocked it.
now the phone boots to the unlocked boot screen and sits on "your device is booting now..."
the real problem now is i cannot access bootloader any longer.
to recap...i cannot enter bootloader or recovery and the device is unlocked.
please help

Unlocking needs recovery. So when you unlocked when ypi couldn't enter recovery that caused this problem.
Have seen this stuck at booting before..it is a little bit of a pain to get through. You need to have the battery totally dead, and on the first boot with USB cable plugged on you should be able to get onto fastboot. (Disconnecting battery will do it too)

Hi!
Try to restore stock firmware with NRT.
Choose "Current status": Soft-Bricked/Bootloop.

I did what you said and it seemed to be working until the flashing process started, it failed twice because the bootloader is locked and now its remained on erasing cache for quite some time now

Hi!
OK, I think the status of bootloader doesn't matter.
Try to boot your tablet to fastboot mode (bootloader mode) and flash stock google image.
Use "flash-all.bat", this batch file will flash all needed *.img files via fastboot (i hope you have it).

Can't Unlock Bootloader , Can't enable OEM unlocking option in settings, Help

I wanted to unroot my device to send it back for repair ( screen shattered).
I made a backup, flashed this stock recovery(https://basketbuild.com/uploads/devs/Grarak/oneplus3/recovery.img) locked my bootloader, wanted to enter stock recovery to sideload stock rom, but fails .
When i enter recovery mode, Oneplus logo flashes 3 times then everything turns black except notification light turns on.
Now I want to try to unlock the bootloader again so I can flash another stock recovery. But it says : (remote: oem unlock is not allowed )
I know that i have to enable it in settings, but I cant boot my phone to the rom / software. So now i am stuck, I can't enter recovery mode because I messed up, I flashed a "wrong" stock recovery before locking bootloader.
Any suggestions?
Please help me with this problem.
Thanks in advance
Why do you want to lock bootloader, you dont needs to do this when sending back...
and it would be more logical to flash stock rom THEN relock bootloader...

I didn't know. I have searched on other threads from other phones, and a few of people have the same problem. It looks like there is no fix for this problem. I'll just send it back bricked...

Honor 7X L21 99% Factory Reset Lowlevel

Regarding to title, I was trying to flash a custom rom on my Honor 7X but apparently with the crazy amount of idk twrp recoveries and failed flashes, the phone (totally empty with both system and data) decides to factory reset lowlevel after i try to fastboot oem relock bootloader and it stays stuck at 99%. Any troubleshooting tips would be great.
Well, am experiencing similar problems.
I was on rooted Stock, when I got a System update available prompt.
I uninstalled Magisk, Flashed stock recovery and did a Factory reset from the Stock recovery.
It booted up, but there was no Keyboard installed. I think, I had uninstalled the pre-installed one when I was rooted.
I couldn't get past the Setup Wizard, as the FRP was Locked and there was no way of typing the password.
I tried to flash the system.img from fastboot but it gave me 'Remote: command not allowed' error. (Even for flashing recovery)
I google'd a bit and ended up on a solution as to relock the bootloader, Turn on OEM Unlocking and lock the bootloader again.
I relocked the bootloader, it did a 'Low-level factory reset' and now the phone is even bootloop. (it boots into eRecovery from the Honor/Huawei logo)
I tried the 'Download latest version and recovery' from eRecovery. It's giving me 'Package verification failed' error.
'dload' method never worked for me, and it is still the same.
Any solution/suggestion?
Bootloader relock with empty system is a definite hard brick.
I think you may need to ues dload method and flash a service rom to get back up and running.
dload says software install failed, any ideas? @mrmazak
apparently now its back to usual after leaving it stuck at 99% overnight until the battery dies out, could go back to fastboot and stuff
How far did it get? Stop and fail at 5% happens when update not found or not correct update.app.
Of it loads higher that 5% then fails , that's probably not gonna be able to fix it.
We have only found 2 service roms. Both are bnd-l21c432 one is Nougat one is Oreo. Both have been used on other versions of honor 7x. But after it runs you need to run hurupdater or hwota with correct model / region fullOTA.

"Your device is corrupted and cannot be trusted" error. Nothing happens when connecting to PC

Please need urgent help. I had unlocked bootloader. While trying to update Magisk, my phone rebooted and got stuck on fastboot loop. Then while trying to flash TWRP using fastboot this "Your device is corrupted and cannot be trusted" error occured. I can't go into recovery, it just loops into this message. And my PC can't recognise the phone now at all. Please I need help. I have been trying to resolve this issue for hours now.
This is for Google Pixel 2 XL.

As long as you can get into the bootloader you're not dead in the water. Download the last factory image - NOT OTA image - from Google and flash it while in bootloader mode using ADB and Fastboot. That will return your device to its factory state. From there you can boot - NOT install - TWRP and install a custom ROM as well as root.

First of all thank you for the reply. I don't know but I left the phone alone for couple of hours and right before seeing your post got into bootloader by pressing volume down and power key. Tried to flash TWRP and as soon as it flashed I got the exact same error like last time. I will now be following your method and install factory image. "NOT install - TWRP and Install a custom ROM", so I will not be installing TWRP this time.
I will post updates on what goes and hopefully will be able to flash the factory image without errors.
Thank you very much for the help Strephon. Really, really appreciate it. I am now able to boot into the OS and hopefully installing custom rom or rooting afterwards won't be an issue, Again, thank you very much.

this will be my last onepluse thatr for sure going back to Pixel 4 XL didnt have no issues going back to stock this is crazy
I'm having the same issue, so I'm gonna piggyback this in hopes of a different direction.. Long story, short, I've spent hours trying to get back to OOS from crdroid 11. the link above got me back to booting up t-mobile and relocks the bootloader, but wifi radio doesnt work & restarting brings me to being stuck on the boot logo. none of the other MSMtools work, unlocked or TMO from the unbrick page.
what step am i missing after going through the tmo to int. guide? since that's the only thing that's working.. thanks in advance, i'm attempting round 2 in the meantime.
When u r stuck on pink TMobile screen, force reboot to bootloader by holding vol+, vol-, & power buttons for 10 sec. Once you see phone rebooting, let go of power button only to enter bootloader mode. Then type "fastboot reboot fastboot" on PC while USBC cable is plugged into phone. This will kick phone into fastbootD mode. Then fastboot flash all stock rom files.
When wifi and 4g not working, u did not enter fastbootD mode, so system did not flash right

this would not work for me im assuming bc i have the global HD1905 not the T Mobile branded. u can read above why it wouldn't work . but i seem to have made some progress using the All in One Tool i clicked on flash factory image tab and at first it keep error out saying no Flash-All.bat found after unzipping it. so i kelp looking around and finally foud a factory zip that had the Flash-All.bat file in it so tried again using the Allin One Tool clicked Flash Factory image and it unzipped it and flashed fine but now i cant boot to the OOS it just reboots to the " your bootloader is unlocked integrity screen and stays . but i can boot in fastboot mode and recovery which is now factory recovery. i noticed that it flashed the OOS zip on slot A so i think the reason its not booting up to OOS is bc i need it flased on both slots ??

using the " All in One Tool "
Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions
is this normal error when flashing back to stock OOS ? when the flashing starts it says this for the first 4 or 5 flashing parts then it stats flashing as described in OP. then it reboots out of fastboot and boots to stock recovery then it finishes the flashing . then at the end it says to press any key to continue and the phone reboots and hangs at the screen that lets me know the bootloader is unlock screen. i flashed both a \b partitions and still does the same thing. its like the boot image is not flashing or im missing something else in the OP to get back to stock OOS.
anyone can help me please ?

ok that command worked it successfully Flashed all partitions and when it it it finished it said to press any key to continue .... i did and it rebooted into stock recovery and finished the flashing . then it reboots to the Your Bootloader is unlocked warning and stays there . so i went into recovery and factory reset everything and still hangs at the bootloder unlocked warningthat was all on Slot b so i was like maybe i need to flash both Slots so i switched to slot a active and repeated the whole process above and still nothing hangs again at the bootloader is unlocked warning... ggggrrrrr
what gives..... this is all done using the All in One Tool ... i know im getting close to getting it back to Stock OOS as i made progress with your help.
i then downloaded the factory image from OnePlus site but that was a no go as the zip had only something called Payload which wouldn't flash ..
anymore knowledge u might can share and thank you very much for your help
Go back to fastbootD and flash-all parts manually on A slot, then go to bootloader, type "fastboot set_active other" to go into B slot and repeat fastbootD flashing all parts again. Then go into stock recovery to format data and then reboot
