I want a case that protects my screen from dropping on the screen face first but nothing overly large like the otterbox.
I already ordered the flex hd screen protector and I want a case on it because I already wrecked the screen and have to buy a digitizer :S
Any suggestions?
Another question is that do screen protectors protect drops from the screen glass breaking or just scratches?

I dropped mine face down, only had the xtremeguard protector on the screen, caseless (just removed it, lol!). It was attached to the microusb cable from the laptop at the time.
I was lucky, only a 2 foot drop, not even a scratch.. YMMV
I would really do a search of the accessories section, I have posted many TPU as well as others. You'll also be able to read their reviews and others' comments that way.

How is the scratch resistance? I it not as sticky as the Zagg one?

I got myself a Martin Fields screen protector after having tried out my friend's phone which had one.
The Martin fields protector also cone with a camera lens protector, which i think was clever of them.
I use a wet install type protector from bestskinsever (here is a thread discussing their products). With dry fingers the surface is quite smooth but with wet fingers of if your nails touches the screen then it can get a bit sticky. IMO most flexible (wet install) screen protectors are like that, but the best thing about them is that you don’t get any bubbling on the edges.

Any one using Spigen slim armour and Nilkin glass screen protector? are they compatible? because of the bump in the front of the case i think the glass screen protector will be pushed from the two sides leading to breakage or something ?
The nilkin glass screen protector is very good quality and was a pleasure to use... But when I received my dot view cover, i realised that i need to remove it bcoz it was thick.... If u dont plan to use any flip case, go for it...

I have the Spigen slim armor and the Spigen glass nano, yes there's a bump but it doesn't cover much if any of the screen on both sides

I'm currently using Spigen Galaxy S8 Plus Screen Protector NeoFlex with the "TECH21 Evo Check" Case with no issues.
I tried almost all whats available in the market, you name it, i tried it (expect for the zagg sphhire, still waiting for it).. Glass and film, tried them all, and i can highly recommend the iq shield wet film, so far the only one that you almost can't see it there, and definitely case friendly (subject to you applying it at the right position as a millimeter makes all the difference).. Try it and you will see.. Spigen wet film will be my second option, only its a bit more visible after applying it and more finger print magnite..
Alllllll, and i mean alllllll glass screen protectors are worthless, i tried at least 10 brands, cheap and expensive, and non works or sticks well, and definitely non is case friendly, the once that are, you can clearly see the adhesive through the glass after applying it, and that makes it soooo ugly..
I've got a Caseology (Spigen Tough Armor) and a MoKo 9h glass protector and they aren't compatible.
BearMotion with icarez glass. Pretty good combo.

I tried a Zagg Glass protector and it goes on very simple.. good coverage and touch resistance was fine.. Slipped the phone into a Spigen Neo Hybrid and the Zagg popped off.. So Not compatible at all..

Yep, spigen tough armor and some tempered glass protectors aint compatible. Pushes up. Same thing for any other film protector for the tough armor. Pushes up on almost all i have tried. havent found one that works so im getting over this spigen tough armor.
I also have the IQ Shield case friendly and it works great with my 2 Supcase and Spigen Hybrid.
I bought this gel type screen protector, it fits flawlessly edge to edge and no bubbles or wrinkles! It's a wet install but it's so easy!

I just ordered the iq one that was suggested. I have an otterbox defender so I'll see how it works with that case. From what I've read the glass protectors do not play nice with most cases.
I have the Ghost Armor wet film on my S8+ and think it's one of the better ones out there. I got a glass screen protector free with my purchase, but it is pretty terrible so I decided to go with a film one. And the Ghost Armor is case friendly.
I've got the GPEL glass screen protector with a spigen ultra hybrid case. No issues
I have the wet install skinomi case friendly protector.
It fits great and doesnt even look like its on there. Ive been using these since the note edge days.

Bought a spigen neo flex but its on b/o due to manufacturer flaw per seller.
In the mean time using one i got fro tmo and its fine except the edges that lift up and bubble.
Tested the Orzly TGSP with the Spigen Thin Fit, Rugged Armor and Orzly FlexiCase - worked with both the FlexiCase and Thin Fit, but NOT the Rugged Armor.

i want to buy a case but idk the situation. found a fake otterbox like case on amazon but i want to use a glass screen protector or a skinomi screen protecor. any thoughts?
im active ALOT and outside so i need the case to match or exceed my limits. the fake otterbox is the choice but i need glass on the screen and glass on the camera portion. thought about poetic series but idk... would love a case that is life ready with glass screen friendly.

From my experience, many cases don't fit with the glass screen protector so I always use a film screen protector from Gadgetshieldz which is installed with liquid that provides an extra layer of protection to the display. As the protector has a self-healing feature that heals most of the scratches on it which I like the most about this product. Is that Skinomi a film-like protector?

How ware these and how long do they last - compared to the factory screen protector? Does the corners lift over time?
If I order one, do I need the "Case Fit" version?
I've been using the factory fitted film since I got the phone in June, always have a ringke fusion case, no signs of lifting anywhere. Not sure if it will work with the glass you're talking about

The screen protector lasted for about 7-8 months for me and they are good compared to factory protectors because they stick well enough and don't peel off. If you're going to use a back case then the case-fit screen protector is enough because the case would protect the edges.
