Hi,
I'm trying to unlock an FRP locked device. I have the combination file but will it trip the warranty in ODIN. I will need to add it to a MDM so that can't be tripped.
Thanks

I didn't want to flash a custom binary, as that will void the warranty.

Is their a way to root ZUK Z2 without unlocking the bootloader first? I don't want to unlock bootloader as it will void the warranty. I figured, phone can be unrooted easily too if can be rooted without unlocking bootloader and helps save the warranty.
You have to unlock bootloader first in order to gain root access. You can relock bootloader and regain warranty after flashing ZUI 1.9.004.But don't relock bootloader on custom roms as it can result in brick.
Does unlock bootloader cause end of warranty? If yes could I lock it again if I would use warranty for repair?
Yes, you lose the warranty. No, relocking is not possible. The unlocking is registered at the Lenovo Servers.
Hey guys, I'm new to the Redmi forums, I've been on XDA since 2012 and have been using mainly Xperia devices.
So just had a few doubts regarding this phone(bought it last week)
I read about the procedure to unlock the bootloader and everything.
1. I know unlocking will void my warranty, but can i then relfash stock rom and relock bootloader to show that the bootloader was never unlocked? We could do that in Xperia.
Is it possible to do it now?
2. Will just rooting require the bootloader to be unlocked? And if yes would the warranty be void if I unlocked the bootloader and just root the phone without flashing custom ROMs?
Unlocking bootlader procedure doesn"t void you warranty. At least in Poland
Rooting requires unlocked bootloader. Im not sure about rooting, but you can always flash offcial miui build and its going to unroot your Redmi and relock you bootloader

1. As far as I know the warranty is not void. I have not seen any such warning. But please do check from your end.
2. Rooting will need unlocked bootloader if you are doing it via the recovery. Maybe one click root apps wont. I dunno of any one click root apps for RN5 Pro
Unlocking bootloader don't void warranty of xiaomi phones its confirmed
Changes in rom may void warranty like rooting
But u can again clean flash rom with mi flash restore to factory stage is possible
Hi! I Just got the A2 Lite and would like to try some ROMs on It.
Will unlocking the bootloader void my warranty?
And if yes, Will re locking It get my warranty back?
Thanks in Advance
Unlocking the bootloader supposedly voids your warranty, but AndroidOne devices have no protection like Knox (which trips if you unlock BL), so there's no way of knowing if it's been unlocked before. Just flash the stock firmware via MiFlash and lock your bootloader before sending your device to warranty, voila. None of the roms I've tried work as good as the stock one though, I'd suggest rooting instead of changing the ROM. Have a nice day.
Very Good Answer Mastonpear...

i activate oem unlock in my europeen zfold 3
But when i am in download mode it says the oem protection is on. So any oem file i try to falsh i get a fail message. because of protected binary. Someone know how to bypass this ?
Before you try unlocking the bootloader, got to make sure that you know your cameras will stop functioning.
Another note is if you unlock your bootloader, then knox is triggered which makes it permanently disabled and all apps require it won't work ever again. Since they need working knox to work such as samsung pay, samsung pass, secret folder and few more. Secondly when knox is triggered then warranty is voided too. Since if you send it for repairs they will see knox has been triggered and that's when they know you have unlocked the bootloader.
