Hi,
I just switched from Sprint to T Mob a couple days ago. I had the Note II on Sprint for 2 weeks and the battery life was phenomenal. I could get 2 days on it.
So far, with my T Mob Note II, I seem to be getting 1 day charge out of it. I have everything set up the same. I wonder if there are apps on T Mob (like My Account) that are draining it faster?
Any suggestions? How long are you getting?
Thanks!
PS - Any other Sprint users that switched and are you happy with T Mob? Sprint was slow on data, but 1 thing I'm noticing is going inside I get no T Mob signal in many places
Yeah T-Mobile is pretty poor with signal penetration inside buildings compare to Sprint. Still I don't regret leaving Sprint. Their .07 mbps is pitiful compare to the 15 mbps I get from T-Mobile.
I didn't have a Sprint note 2 as I left before they became available.
I did have a Sprint galaxy s3 and T-Mobile galaxy s3 and I notice the same thing. With Sprint I get about 1 and a half times more battery life compare with the T-Mobile version. When I turn on airplane mode they both seem to have same.battery life. I think T-Mobile's radio just drains more battery for some reason.

Was with sprint for years and was very happy. I switched to Tmobile for a month, went back to Sprint. Hated Sprints data speed, and had to go back to tmobile. Never realized how slow sprints data was... As they say ignorance is bliss

Try downloading better battery stats and try using different configurations overnight to see what's draining the battery while you're not using it. Obviously the battery will drain faster during use. I lose about 1% an hour with wifi/data/sync/ on

Ugh, that sucks on the battery if that's true across the board. I hope not. I'm gonna play around and see if I can find anything, but so far no luck. Sprint was almost 2x better.
Yes, with Sprint I did get decent reception in almost all buildings. So far not impressed with T Mob inside.. BUT, the data speeds are awesome when I do have signal. Not sure that's more important than actually being able to use a phone!

Hey shonuff, do you have the multiwindow on your phone?
I used to have great battery life on my tmobile samsung galaxy note 2, About 1.5 days on one charge but after the multiwindow update that was pushed out on Dec 19, my phone drains quicker, twice as fast. I'm glad I have the multiwindow now but the battery life went down drastically,,. so disappointed.
I can't say about other people, but I've had this phone for about a month now, and I'm averaging 16-20 hrs a day. I usually take it off the charger at 6am, and don't charge it again until midnight or 1am. I haven't seen any degradation due to the multi-window either.

Im experiencing the same issue. Yesterday I charged to full at 2pm. Went out to run some errands and was on it the same amount I was before the update and by 11pm hit I was already at only 5%. That sucks big time. Im pretty sure its got something to do with the update because I could go 6am-11pm on same amount of usage and be at about 30 or 40% left.

Flash jedi x4. I'm currently getting about 30 hours on a charge and it has multiwindow.
When I was on sprint with gsnote2 I was getting great battery life. Because I couldnt connect to internet more than half the time. Now im on tmobile with note 2 and I stream netflix and radio all day and im at 25% after 14 hrs at work. Seems great to me

Yeah, I got the phone 3 days ago so it didn't have muti at first but now it does. I didn't notice a difference in battery time though. On the Sprint one I had for 2 weeks, it had multi the whole time and battery was unreal.

I'm trying to avoid any rooting until I know I'm gonna keep this phone with T Mob. I'm not liking the issue with going into buildings and barely having cell service.
1) none of the jedi kernels are improving battery life. 2) please compare on screen time and not this unscientific time between charges. 3)the sprint note 2 doesn't have better battery life. You probably had better coverage indoors where you spend most of your time. Best battery life comes from excellent 4G coverage. Worst comes from poor coverage areas because the phone amps up the antenna to compensate.

It really depends on the relative signal strength or coverage between Sprint and T-Mobile in your particular area. I switched from crappy data speeds on Sprint to T-Mo when I got my GN2 and have had really good battery life and fairly good signal since.

1 day is about what i am getting
I'm on root de la vega, fully stock just rooted with no knox trip. When my phone connects to LTE it only reaches 2 bars or even 1 bar. When I switch it to 4G, it reaches 4 to 5 bars? When I had my Note 2 a month ago, it reached 4 to 5 bars on LTE. I did a factory reset, with no luck. I went back to completely stock with no luck either. It seems my Note 3 doesn't like LTE. Could it be that I have to switch my sim card? Anyone? Thanks.

I'm having issues as well with streaming and phone losing service and when the screen shuts off, I have to pull the battery because the screen won't come back on. I can hardly stream a damn YouTube video without it stopping and sitting there till I force it to skip ahead or it remembers it's supposed to be loading. I didn't have this issue with the note 2 and when I had these streaming issues I did a speed test and showed 26 down and 16 up.

Using Airplane mode, and then enabeling Wifi afterwards should do the trick
That did th he trick. Thanks
I have a rooted Verizon Note 4 specifically bought for the old grandfathered unlimited data plan using with FoxFi as a hot spot for my other 3 devices. I am on 6.1. The problem is: when I am driving in the car regardless with hot spot on or off it restarts itself cont/ every 3 minutes. It does not when I am at home & successfully gives wifi for all of my devices in the house. Please, help, thanks
Hi there!
justo got my mi9 SE a few days ago.
Just noticed that during the night the battery drains from 100% to 96% with just the mobile signal (no 4g data, no wifi, no gps)
In battery usage it whows that radio signal is what consumed most.
Tried changing the configuration to LTE/WCDMA but it seems that have no effect.
My 4g reception is very good.
¿Any ideas? I'm on global 10.2.2.0
thanks!
:silly::silly::silly:Just found there is a thread with a discussion about that
