Hi All,
I noticed a weird bug in stock camera (in Google Camera as well) that is very likely a bug of EIS. In 720p and 1080p the camera is following close objects even if it is recording steadily on the table. The same weird behavior can't be reproduced in 4k.
I created two video examples. In 720p you can see that the camera follows the box when it removes from the sight of the camera, sometime even when it enters.
720p: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6d9ucmdr772sd82/VID_20161106_151440.mp4?dl=0
4k: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kd9qa9jxr1sl2uq/VID_20161106_151617.mp4?dl=0
Can you also reproduce this? Is this a general issue?
Thanks,
Rototti
Hello everyone I shot a video tutorial on how to record timelapse in 4K resolution through app Footej Camera on any Huawei / Honor phone that has a 4K resolution on a normal video mode - in timelapse mode with stock app is only HD resolution.
Tested on Honor 9 with Android 8.0.0 with Footej Camera app.
There is YouTube link to my video guide:

Can anyone please test, if it works on Honor 10?
Thanks for reading, if you have any questions, please write comments below.
It works on Honor 10 too.
Anyway while recording through camera app when shooting video to flip it to the front and rear again without pausing in the XL?
Not looking to do it through Instagram or Snapchat before anyone posts that lol
Hello friends, I give you a video that I have made of the problem that I see with this mobile and the autofocus when you record at 60fps, either 1080 or 4k. It takes a long time to focus, or it does not focus directly, and when it works, it does so by jumping quite uncomfortably. in 30 fps everything goes smoothly. Happens to you? thanks!!

I can reproduce this on my phone's stock camera, but not as badly as on your video. It seems there's something different about how it chooses to focus when in 60p.
I suspect it's software-related, as when I run 4k 60p on GCAM 8.1 I don't see the issue at all. I'm running MIUI 12.0.9.

correct friend, when it is at 60fps, the autofocus looks like the one used in photo mode, and is not progressive as in video mode at 30fps. Can you tell me exactly what version of gcam are you using? what xml? I have an operator rom in 12.0.4, I am thinking of putting global, but I have not animated yet.

I'm using the newest GCAM 8.1. The main things work, but can't use other lenses at the moment. 4k 60p seems to work ok.
