Yes, it's completely normal I'm afraid. Lights flicker at a speed that the human eye will not notice but the slow-mo is able to detect it. Some bulbs will be more noticeable than others.

Theres a video where i film after the 1.28 patch, and as you can see the top isnt making that weird thing anymore, Its just the screen flickering or how i should call it.
You barely see it, but you can see in the video that theres something happening when im moving up and down.
i think the problem is by the ambient light sensor beside the hTC logo
so when your fingertip pass thru the sensor, the light enter reduce so it become brighter...

What is an ambient light sensor on a monitor?
It Is A Sensor That Detect Light So If Its Dark Your Screen Monitor Brightness Will dim down so you're not looking at one source of extreme bright light, When Its Bright The Screen Monitor Will go up to compensate for the extra light around you so you can still see the monitor comfortably

No, that's not it. It's a software bug, the fixed it just a little. It's probably driver problems still. If it was the light sensor it would just dim, not blink.
still the bug is there.. but less than before.. mine screen flickers (not the screen flicking bug) when the bug hits.. just in an instance.. and distorted the date a little than before.. updated to 1.28.415.9 Arabic version
Well mine still makes the thing where everything in the bar gets all blurry.
Just not as often.
So the bug is still there but they sure did something to improve it
Edit: yeah ayan15 did a good description of my bug

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue or maybe i have a weird setting set on my camera.
Issue: Basically in lower lighting areas (not super dark, in a room with a few desk lamps on) the front facing camera shows a good image. Then once i start recording a video (or even in snapchat) the image is light, then after about 1 second in it darkens. it looks like someone has turned off a light in the room.
Is anyone is experiencing this or knows of any tweaks?
I have the same issue.
uncheck auto brightness from settings-display
this still is happening even with the main camera/front camera doesn't seem to be an issue with the auto brightness any other ideas?
Same here, any camera app I use presents this issue. With only low light or indoors. This is the first phone I've owned where it has done this and I'm coming off of nexus 5 and the s3 before it.
I really hope(because I am rooted/custom ROM) that this can be calibrated on a rom type of level and not permanent bc of hardware.
Same issue with Moto G Turbo Edition...
set the Anti-flicker setting to 60 Hz.
Hi,
When I take pictures with the S6, the setting displays completely fine in the viewfinder (aka screen), but when the picture is saved it is several degrees darker.
Have tried with HDR on and off, and also with the front facing camera, same problem.
Have anyone else have this issue with the S6 (Edge)?

Worth a shot but is adaptive brightness enabled? Or possibly Auto Brightness?

As a matter of fact, adaptive brightness was enabled. When I disabled it the pictures look as good as they should in the gallery.
Don't know if the camera disables adaptive brightness, appears like that.
Thanks for the help!

A70's display treats dark pixels as if they were completely black, and turns them off instead of dimming them. Which leads to difficulty and inability to see dark things properly + distortion of the displayed thing (especially on the lock screen) because a lot of pixels are turned off.
The device has already been updated to the latest software version in Samsung's customer service center.
Here are some pictures and a video showcasing the issue: http://imgur.com/a/w9tLNAJ
Test your device at night or in a place with dim lighting.

Yeah, that's how AMOLED works. And no, I can completely see properly dark things.

I know how AMOLED works, it's just that it's not working correctly. Check out the pics in the link, the screen changes the colors, and turns off way too many pixels.
You have more issues besides pixels turning off. Looks like posterization as well.
I don't have those issues with mine.

If you know how it works, then take your phone to the service centre as probably you have the warranty.

They told me there was nothing to worry about, so I guess that's that.
yes i have these problems too on the lock screen majorly i think its a step by the software to save battery. I had these problems on my old note 5 too.
Happens to me too.. Dark grey colour turn pinkish on lockscreen..
Hi!
I have received my Red Magic 8 Pro and immediately noticed something. The selfie camera is visible if the background behind it is simple. For example just a simple white or gray background. Depending on movie sometimes it also becomes visible under cartoons like Rick and Morty, however during normal movie I cant see it.
Is this normal for this phone?
Also, the software which handles the pixels in front of the camera sometimes can become bugged and a visible line is displayed. I can reproduce this issue by pulling down the notification bar and holding it at 1 spot.
Does everyone experience these issues ?
That's normal, especially if the screen is on 120Hz, and at low brightness. It's the so-called green tint issue.
