So yes, I see on TV these a news about Android Oreo that just released this month. Seems interesting, but I had a question:
Is there an official Android Oreo for this device?
Thanks for the advance. Sorry for my bad English.
nope. The last release they did was the final version, maybe some security patches but thats it unfortunantly.
We probably will be getting custom 8.0 roms though

Saw on the Nextbit forum on Reddit that Android O is being discussed so hopes up that they'll decide to update.

oh that would be nice. I read somewhere that they would only do security patches and that 7.1 was the last major update they would do. I hope what i read wasn't true because it would be amazing to have an official 8.0 build

Here is the thread where a Nextbit rep said it's being discussed. It would indeed be great to have an official 8.0 build.

OK, thanks. I need to turn on my VPN first because in Indonesia Reddit is blocked.
Wish I found out about this sooner. I already ported my my device to Lineage OS 14.1 build, and now I await the Lineage OS 15 build with all its new optimizations and features built from Android Oreo.

Hardware support has ended, but software support goes on until February 2018. I think O will be the last manufacturer update we see.

I honestly doubt they will, but I'd love to be proven wrong! Treble will enable such great things for our device
Is the Honor 7X Treble supported or is it going to be Treble compabitible after OTA update just like the Honor 8 Pro got Treble support with OTA partitioning

I have the 8.0.0.302 which is beta Oreo, but the official Verizon has been released 8.0.0.330 for L24 (USA vairant) but I haven't received the update for that yet. Wondering if anyone else in my situation has?
Hi
Last week a build a GSI ROM for liquid Remix (pie).
I'm looking for tester for my build , it worked well in other a/b devices so I think it would work also (s9 is only A only)
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603880295
Please tell what S9 model and which setup you used (firmware, vendor, kernel) if the ROM booted or Not.
Note : the ROM might not boot with enforcing kernel so try one with permissive type
any user tried the ROM ?
Sorry I thought s9 is ab device but instead it's a only device.
Link updated.

Thanks for testing, which vendor/boot you used ?
I got a result from a tester who was able to boot to rom using pie vendor and permissive kernel.
Can you try it ?

Yes, this is the latest EU/global ROM. https://help.redmagic.gg/hc/en-us/articles/900000992366-RedMagic-5G
There is a newer version for CN phones that should come to global soon (hopefully): http://ui.nubia.cn/rom/detail/65
