In my haste to attempt rooting this phone I ended up using the wrong thing and now my device shows nothing on screen and appears in device manager as "LGE AndroidNet USB Modem". I have seen multiple references on how to short pins on the chip in order to do a recovery process however these are all for the G3 or some other version of the k10 and while the layout is similar i can't find any information on what pins i would need to use for my version.
Here is what mine looks like:

and here is what I'm trying to do to for a fix:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/lg-g3-lge-androidnet-usb-serial-port-t3058731
This is an image from the G3 variant:
which seems to have the chip in question on the opposite side of the board.
So my question is how can i figure out which pin is correct? Is there some process i could try just doing one by one or would that risk further damage?
I had tried similiar methond on my MTK one (to be honest, I didn't look at G3's method. But mine was to connecting emmc directly to the PC and then flashing stock system and boot). Even though I tried everything, I couldn't be successful. Read my post here. Then I sent my phone to official LG Technical Service. What happened as result is they replaced my sh*tty k10 with a LG G4

Hello, by mistake, I've flashed my SPL with a wrong version, and after that I was unable to downgrade or to restore with a good SPL. I tried to use RUU, and it brick my phone, I've got a chip and a red cross on a white screen each time it power on my phone.
Do you think it is possible to restore my phone with a HTC debug serial cable?
Thank you!

Ok, I solved the probleme, when I start the RUU updater, I hold the action button (track ball) down all the time until it finishes, and now my hero is completly restored!
I hope for those who got the same error will see my post, I was in a very bad trip!
lucky you, i hope i will never see such a sign on my hero... the chip really doesn't look good, more like a dead bug or something
I've just flashed my hero with the wrong SPL, that's break it, but the ROM Update Utility from HTC is very usefull in this kind of case ; I was no longer able to send it sdb requests or reboot on the recovery! But it update the offcial ROM to the latest..
Well, the question I want to make to the community is that if anyone can identify, and, if the answer is affirmative, tell me how to replace the components identified in the attached image.
All this is because I sent my DEFY to the Technical Support because it wasn't recognized by the PC, in any of the USB ports, on any computer I have at home (all with the drivers installed, a W7 and another WXP), while the RSD Lite recognized it (in XP), but flash a ROM took several attempts.
As this was so weird, I flashed the phone with Vodafone Spain .sbf and sent it to the Technical Support, but recently I was asked to pay € 91 to fix it, saying that the warranty is void because the phone had a hit, when the USB failure was not after any major hit.
The point is that now I don't know what to do when I get it back, because I will not pay that amount, it is noteworthy that apart from that the phone is working perfectly, no irregularities in its functioning.
Sorry for my poor english.
PS: In case anyone needs the information, I sent the phone to Motorola's official Technical Support, SMS in Madrid.
Edit: Thanks to nogoodusername for the advise

So I just got my old htc one back to stock so I can send it back to htc..Now my problem is that abd recognizes my new device but says its offline and from what i have read sounds like a driver problem which I know is not the case or usb debbuging isnt checked which its on device and i dont have any type of lock on it.So if anyone has any other suggestion would be kool...
Uninstall the driver anyway (though Dev. Mgr.) so no phone is recognized. Then reinstall your new phone's drivers.

make sure the screen is on when you plug it in and debuging on the phone is on. it will ask you if you want to connect to the pc with adb, something like what i posted below.

did you find an answer for this problem.i also have the same problem
Yes I use adb with phone on fastboot mode and flashed a twrp and a new rom but it took me several attempts
Hi, 2 hours ago, I just unlocked boot loader.
But, I didn't know how to upload custom rom in that state, I think I used wrong code.
My cell worked till I used the code below.
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash abl_a
But, after that, I just spontaneously used the code below to upload custom rom..... (Why did I... sighhh)
fastboot flash abl_b
After I used the code, My computer can't read my cell and I cant also enter the fastboot mode.
Whenever I press any buttons on my cell, the only thing that I can see is this picture.
