Hi. I'm using an app to manage my heating system at home. This works with the Lenovo P2 localization features (both detecting presence if the device is connected with the router's mac address, and also using geolocalization). The problem is that apparently the Lenovo P2 localization function often goes off, so the app doesn't detect me anymore at home and I'm freezing. The app restarts detecting me if I just switch the app localization function off and on again. It works but I cannot do it all the time! The app developers say that this is the Lenovo P2 fault which switches off the localization to maximise battery duration. Can someone imagine a solution? Thanks, g.

@FPA10: Hi, sometimes, when the RAM of phone gets full, the android wear application force closes and it disconnects the phone. Try to check, if your phone RAM is/ is not full when the BT disconnection occurs.
Can you give a bit more info on when BT disconnects and how you see that it is disconnected?
For instance I happen to know right now there is a version problem on google play music app & wear, where it will tell you the watch is disconnected, when trying to move files to the watch, yet it is connected in the wear app.
I have the same problem. It disconnects at random moments.
It comes up with a question if I want to connect the watch/phone again (where you have confirm the 6 digits code)
At the same time it has dropped the secure device settings to keep my phone unlocked when connected to my phone.
So it really looks like the phone forgets all about the watch...
No issues seen with RAM at the time these issues happen.
Hello, just bought a SW3.
Does Google Maps work with the built in GPS? I noticed that it starts to look immediatly for the phone...also is it possibile to move the offline maps I downloaded to the smartwatch internal memory? How does it work? I am new thanks.
I've got an LG G5 which is affected by the GPS hardware issues (ie GPS is non-existent) - my SW3 works fine in maps when paired to this phone so would guess the watches GPS is working well. Guess it could be using the phone to grab location via phone masts, but not as slow as phone location so doubt it.

In fact I was wandering if it was possible to use the smartwatch alone for running, with its built-in GPS (and perhaps offline maps loaded) but without the 4G connection of the phone.
Sony said the point of this smartwatch was to leave the smartphone at home, but I saw that the location doesn't fix if the smartwatch doesn't connect to phone first (Bluetooth and 4G).
Am I doing something wrong?

I have two of these devices. In order to use the google fit stand alone gps, i suggest that you turn off your phone or BT connection between the phone and watch as well as the wifi setting on the watch prior to a run. When you go outside, turn on the google fit app and wait a few moments while you warm up, this will give the watch a chance to lock into GPS. Then all you have to do is start moving and the standalone gps will work. The problem with google fit is that it so dependent on communications between the phone and device as well as not having a gps locking icon. I prefer to use Ghostrunner app for the sony smartwatch 3, its completely independent from the phones gps and has such a setting in the app to force the watches gps to work over the phone.

And what about runtastic? Can I use it with position on the phone turned off but watch GPS turned on? Apparently it doesn't work for me
I use mine for running and I use Endomondo. I just use the watch GPS on its own and after the run it syncs via bluetooth to the phone. I've heard there has been issues with this but with my LG G4 it's all worked fine.
Does anyone know how to use the smartwatch in standalone with Google Maps tracking while running? It searches for the phone connection everytime...do I have to turn BT off or follow specific steps?

What do you mean? Maps doesn't record your path, if that's what you're after.
If you want to see yourself on a map, including your trail where you've been, use ghostracer. You can also load a gpx path and follow it on the map, but it doesn't give you navigation instructions, you have to watch for the turns yourself.
Navigation is in osm offline maps, but I never had much luck with it.

Is it somehow possible that the hotspot goes on automatically as soon as the LG connects to my car radio via Bluetooth?
I have the app automagic installed and the hotspot setting already tested on two other phones successfully only LG tells me the app "does not support function".
I hope someone can help me.

I drive a Hyundai bayon 22. my phone is one plus 9 Pro android 11. when i press the command key from the car it says oops something went wrong please try again later. but when I unlock the phone and press the command key again, it executes the command and it works perfectly. I have this problem only when the phone screen is locked. Does anyone know about the solution?
Been using android auto wireless for a while now. I've noticed that it takes a minute for it to connect and you'll get an error message until it does. Keep in mind wireless android auto uses Bluetooth and wifi to connect, so both should be on and have a good mobile data connection. A12 is slightly better regarding connection speed and overall android auto performance imo. I haven't run into an issue having to unlock phone although. Is it possible to update the firmware on the head unit in your vehicle?

I have chinese android navigation mcwauto 8001 for Audi Q5 8R.
My issue is lack of bluetooth connection when I am using Zlink app.
I am able to connect phone with naviagation via bluetooth, but when I establish android auto connection using USB port the bluetooth connection is lost.
Because of that I am not able to make a call using android navigation/zlink. The call is make by phone speaker instead of bluetooth (android navigation).
What is more I tried several times to force bluetooth connection with my phone when I am using wired android auto, but even I am able to connect bluetooth the connection is lost every time I am trying to call.
When I call I have the message "you are not connected with bluetooth"
My zlink app is 3.9.31 - according to my navigation this is the current version of zlink. I found few newest upgrades but I am not able to install it. Few of them stop installing in about 80%, the rest even installed properly not working, the app just stop responding, and the hard reset are required.
Does any of you know solution for my problem?
The red android auto icon (two triangles) on my navigation are showing and disappearing constantly, does anyone of you know what this is mean?
