Is it ok to remove this?. I've just received the mate 10 pro this morning & the screen protector which is already installed is bubbly at the top & also there seems to be dust coming from under the screen protector!?
Cheers

well i m posting it at the behalf of my friend...well few days ago i was fedup wid winmo and want to get rid of it asap...so i sell my previous mobile touch pro 2 to my friend and got the milestone while selling my fone to it the screen was clean like new and i was using screen protector with it..after some days my friend called me saying that the mobile got scratches on the screen , i asked him about the protector he said that for some reason touch was not working so he pulled of the protector and touch was working and he start using at normal without using the protector he thought that its screen is like the iphone so if the scratches come screen it won't be that much visible but after few days that screen got more scratches and then he tried new protector it fits the screen without creating the bubbles but again touch screen stops working .. he pulled the protector and its working again....now he wants a conclusion of it
1st is that why touch screen stops working when applying the protector
2nd any way to clean the screen without changing the digitizer because i cant get new 1 in my country and if i order it online i can get new tp2 in my country at the price of just the digitizer
me and my friend searched alot and came to know about desplex and idropper and also came to know that it damages the tocuh
Please Help
Thanks
I had heard using 'Brasso' works well to get rid of scratches and am going to try it myself soon.
^^and do you know anything about touch screen protector ??
no, that has really confounded me. One thing I would do is to try a different brand. I cannot think how a protector can create a seemingly hardware problem.
well i will try some good protectors
my zl came with a loose screen protector(not applied)out of the box ,i have heard that sony phone come with preinstalled screen protector ,so my question is the screen protector which came loose is the only one which comes or there was one more preinstalled screen protector(in short are there 2 screen protectors,1 applied n one loose)?

Well, if you look closely to the screen, you'll be able to see if it has another screen protector applied.

I feel a bit stupid asking this , but here goes
I recently got an 8.4 Tab S that was 'unused' but the box had been opened.
I removed the plastic protection on the sides and from the camera lens but there didn't seen to be anything on the screen so I presumed the previous owner had removed it.
However the screen does have what I would call an oily appearance when it's turned off.....rather than the mirror black I would expect.
I remember a similar situation when I bought a Nexus 5.......it took me a while to realize there was an out of the box screen protector fitted.
If I look closely there seems to be a whiter area around the home button and the top speaker but its feint.
So...before I start digging around the edge of the screen could somebody advise?
Thanks

Greetings fellow members,
I'm plagued by an air bubble on the bottom left corner of my screen and I'm unsure on whether it is under the screen protector or under the screen itself. I am unsure as a (tempered glass) screen protector was immediately placed on the screen after the plastic packaging has been taken off.
I would like to ask for the opinions of everyone. I have attached a pic of the air bubble at the bottom left corner.
Thanks!
I also used a tempered glass and there we're huge air pockets, i slept it off and the next day it was gone
did this happen immedietly? have you waited some time??
you can always use a little force and try to force it out of an edge

Hi, thanks for your reply. My air pockets were not huge per se. I slept it off, it has been a night and it's still there the next morning. I tried using a squegee as well as a microfibre cloth to get that air bubble or whatever it is out but to no avail. Will be replacing my screen protector today. If it still remains, I guess I would go for a warranty claim.
Hi,
Is it occur after applying screen protector? If yes, you could remove the screen protector and clean the screen protector with plastic tape. I'm doing this trick when I found that after applying it on my phone screen.

UPDATE: I have changed my screen protector and stall vendors, no matter how hard they tried to remove the air bubble, could not. I am really disappointed and it is my first encounter with a phone with an air bubble between the glass and LCD. I will do my best to get customer support from Asus and am praying that everything will go well. I will update my thread in case anyone encountered the same issue and is looking for support as well.
UPDATE2: I have gotten a heads up from the Online Customer Service Rep through the Online Chat on the MyASUS app to send my device to a service center. Surprisingly, there wasn't even a need to bring the box, all that's needed to be brought was the phone.
Hi. Is the Swift shipped with a screen protection foil already installed?
Thx
Mine had one already installed.
Mine too. Very well placed.
Yes it is already intalled (confirming what was said already) and its the first screen protector I seen for any mobile phone that actually contours exactly for the front facing camera, sensor and speaker. Very precise.
Im impressed tbh
Yes, it came with the screen protector factory installed. :good:
I guess I'm late to the party but yup, it comes with a screen protector. ?
