Can anyone suggest me a nougat ROM with support to camera2api, or how can I enable camera2api on nougat guide (without root please, if possible)!
Thank you.... <3
Crdroid 3.8.5
Awesome battery life and performance
Plus camera2api... Portrait mode works great both front and back
No need to enable camera2api it's enabled by default in crdroid nougat
You can even go for Citrus CAF 3.6 (28 Jan build) or DotOs latest build.

Hi,
Previously I've tried Lineageos 15.1, and everything is working perfectly. But the only problem I have is battery drain. Even after installing greenify / force doze and trying different firmware, battery drain is still huge. So I go back to Lineageos 14.1 and battery usage is much better. But Lineageos 14.1 is not updated anymore.
So is there any nougat rom that is still maintained and updated to latest security patch?
Thanks

Mate, test this unofficial Crdroid. I have been using it for months, very stable and it's synchronized with the latest build of Los 14.1 and has similar tweaks like RR.

This is a custom kernel with linux-stable merged in and it lets you pass safetynet.
Why?
This is meant for those who want an updated kernel with only stock features

V4 link "Not found"?
@joe2k01 You should probably add in the OP that users should flash this on stock kernel only because it uses the stock modules and flashing them on other kernels with custom modules will break WiFi or not boot at all(stuck on OnePlus logo).
Also, I think you haven't uploaded v4!
Thanks for this

Yeah lol I forgot to push the upload button. Fixed now
@joe2k01 Love everything about this kernel, both in that it keeps everything stock, but passes safeynet as well as being upstreamed. Are your builds going to stay strictly for stable OOS, or possibly do builds for open betas like the latest Open Beta 17?

Please comment in english ! I am just beginner and I compiled stock kernel 15.1 for oreo but unable to get flashable zip. Phone is booting well and works smooth on lineage os 15.1 with stock kernel 3.10.108 and battery back up also decent. This technique can also be forwarded for pie rom but wifi error still there(wifi not getting on..)....still working on wifi issue...and also need help from a good developer to know how to flash oreo and pie kernels. i will release update once i got stable with oreo and pie roms:good:
until then If you are using pie ROM and want that pie kernel to boot on enforcing mode let me help you.:good:
What changes i can observe after updating kernal?

kernels are compiled directly from lineage source on date 21-oct-2018. Completely stock values. No features added to the kernel. Just made the kernels to boot either on on enforcing or permissive mode.:good: Battery life and volte depends on lineage sources (good or bad) and it is nothing to do with the compilation( just compiled from the source )
