And lock botloader
What the step plez
Coz i unlock botloader and i do root by twrp.
And this makes my phone cant change theme and hang between changes language

hi , i used thi guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928160 for use the s-off in my desire z , this guide is good now the device is s-off but when i turn on the phone remains blocked in bootscreen htc... I throw the phone or can I save it? pls help me thanks

Can you boot to bootloader? With the phone off, hold vol-down while pressing power on. If you see a menu screen show up, navigate to Recovery. Tell us how far you can go.
yes work bootloader and recovery but goes wrong the recovery some problem whit command but in the option of recovery are wipe cache wipe data (already tested) and i try hard reset but nothig however thank you for your reply and scuse me for my english

So you wiped, then installed a rom zip, then tried reboot but it gets stuck at the white HTC screen? Do you see any error messages in the recovery menu?
It's possible your emmc chip went bad. Follow the steps here that start with "To be sure that you really are effected by the emmc issue..."
i just try hard reset , wipe cache, data but nothing... when i enter in recovery appears a error message : E: can't open /cache/recovery/command ...
I would try to put the original rom whit adb but in the cmd the device appears connect but offline ...
Sounds like another busted emmc chip story that's it when I get my replacement I think I'm gonna be too scared to root it

My device is locked with my fingerprint. However, everytime I reboot, the first time I unlock my phone I need to draw a pattern.
The problem is I made a backup to try a different ROM. As I did't like the new ROM, I restored my backup, but now I can't unlock my device. I enter the correct pattern but my phone says it is incorrect!! What can I do??
Desperately needeng help!!

Boot to TWRP -> File Manager -> go to /data/system and delete locksettings.db and all named locksettings.db and some extension like shm and wal etc. Reboot.

i am posting a sol. of screen lock reseting without any data loos
for both rooted and non rooted
(NO DATA LOOS ON BOTH PROCESS KEPT IN MIND)
1).For rooted user :-
"TWRP/CWM Recovery is must"
go to in twrp recovery
Advanced/filemanager/DATA/system then file password.key if u have password pin or if u have pattern lock then find pattern.key and delete that file reboot
yr password is reseted
2). for non rooted(pc is required):-
a) u have to enable ADB and connect yr phone.
B)Download a software from "http://www.datafilehost.com/d/259c3395" here and install run and do as directed

my HTC is noramlly stuck in logo, bootloader is locked, device is S-ON but I have access to recovery-mode.
In recovery mode the device is not accesible by Windows, Google and HTC drivers. I have tried the lastest version of all of them. I suspect the problem is caused because it cannot mount the os. If I try to wipe data to factory reset I have a "mount error".
In sideload mode, drivers are working and device is detected but the signature prevents me to install any updates.
Can anyone help me? Explain what is going on? anything...
I have finally a solution but I need your help guys. I need the images of all partitions (userdata, cache, system,expdb,rootm,blinkfeed, ebr2,logo, misc, sec_ro,seccfg,protect_s, protect_f, nvram, pro_info, ebr1, mbr, preloader) which is not a custom ROM but essentialy it is a new phone. I need to download them from someone who has the same firmware d616w and with his bootloader unlocked(I might be wrong about this last sentence).
Then I will flash all of them on my device, I will turn my device into S-OFF if it is not already and manually change IMEI, MID, S/N and other phone infos. Hopefully it will work, otherwise I m gonna use it as a brick for constructions ahah.

Hi guys I have a big problem with my vibe K5 a6020l36, I Just enter to TWRP to the clean section and perform a hard data (the button of hard data) after that I can't enter to bootloader, the phone just show bootloader splash screen (TWRP) and then reboot to the system (AEX 5.3), I can't show TWRP menu.
What have I done?
1. I tryed to change the bootloader: I tried to install other version of TWRP and I have the same result.
2. I tried to enter to bootloader with ADB commands and I had the same result (reboot to system)
3. I tried to install some zip with an app and is unsuccessful
I think the bootloader was blocked by an app, because this problem happened when I tried to add a corporate account and I can't remember the password to enter to the phone and I just enter TWRP and touch hard data button from clean menu.
If anybody have a solution please write here! I don't want to lose my phone!, I just can't enter to bootloader to reinstall the system but I can use the actual system with many bugs, (some apps crashing, I can't perform root or install zips from recovery.
Some commands to unblock recovery or fix this?
