I hear strange noise on my 5t after the music turn off. Noise last for about 1 to 2 second and then disappear. There is no matter if I listen YouTube or I watching video I try different music and video players but there is no difference. Noise is like a old record.

Is there a way to listen to music or watch movie with speakerphone? Thanks
If you mean the speaker which is above the touchscreen, the answer is yes. By defaults this is the speaker which plays every sound when the headphone's jack isn't put into the Blue Angel. I recommend you to use TCPMP for listening to music and especially watching films. It's free, it's lite and made just for your pocket(PC)
Annoying loud audio hiss during calls and playback of camera video but not whilst watching Youtube or video from external sources or listening to mp3s.
I’ve had a GSM Galaxy Nexus for a week now.
Absolutely love this phone but there’s one problem that’s driving me mad.
There is a quite loud constant background hiss during phone calls.
It’s worst during calls over the phone’s built-in earpiece but is also audible if you plug in headphones.
What’s more the same hiss is on videos I shot with the phone’s camera but audio is clear as a bell watching Youtube videos, listening to mp3s or watching video files not recorded on the device.
Please note this is not GSM “chirping” noise interference you sometimes get but a constant hiss that starts as soon as speaker actives.
I thought it might be to do with microphone but the hiss is still there if you mute the mic during calls.
This is more likely to be a software fault isn’t it? As I hear clear audio when listening to mp3s and non-native video files.
BTW- It’s not my phone network as I’ve tried my sim card in another phone and it’s fine.
I also tried a sim card from a different phone company in the nexus and the hiss was still there.
The phone shows full signal strength and is logged onto HSDPA.
Does this sound like a software problem that will probably get updated or does it sound like I have a dud device?
I’d rather not take the phone back on the off chance as everything else on it, the screen etc, is perfect.
Anyone else having this problem?

Did it resolve the issue for either of you?
I notice that when i'm playing music and a notification comes in.... my music abruptly stops and has some static sound while the notification sound plays and then my music resumes again..... to be honest... it's pretty pathetic.... especially the static that's associated....
Can any developer actually come up with a dimming effect or a concurrent audio playing?
I remember that audio couldn't be played in parallel in the early 90s... but surely someone must have found a way to fix this by now? anyone?

They consider it as a feature. Android in general handels playing audio simultaneously pretty well. You can for example play music through the music.app and play audio through a piano app.

This annoys me as well. Used to be perfect on my Desire with CM7

Would love a solution to this.
This depends totally on the player, at least that's how I always experienced it.
At any rate, I'm using IceCold AOKP combined with Google Play Music - (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nb29nbGUuYW5kcm9pZC5tdXNpYyJd) , and notifications only dim music, as you would expected.
Hi
While listening to music in OP3, I noticed couple of problems: 1. While manually trying to close the apps running in the back ground the music player gets stuck, and 2. While listening to music, if I'm using my phone, there is a static noise that I hear continuously. It appears the mic in the earphones is picking noise and creates static noise along with the music. This is annoying. But if the phone is not being used I.e., if it is in my pocket or lying on the desk, the static noise disappears. The voice clarity is very good. Not sure what is causing the problem. Please advise.
This fix continues to be there even after the new OTA.
Today i was checking my 2days old pixel 2 xl.. and found something weired. Very noticable at full volume..
The speakers ( both top and bottom) plays music with crackling sound. It happens with all players.. including mx and youtube.
Seems like playing some low bitrate audio/video even when i am playing 4k hdr10 webm file ( which i downloaded to check hdr)
I thought it was due to some audio mods from xposed.. so i removed it and check again.. its still there..
Did someone have the same issue?
I can blast youtube videos or music at full blast and it sounds fine but yes, others have reported distorted audio output from the speakers on these phones.
I had my first device sent back for this reason. I haven't noticed it yet on my second one.
