Hello people,
I bought a 3600mAh battery from eBay and just received it couple of hours ago.
So I plugged in the charge cable... and its been a few hours but the battery level still shows as 0%.
Have I gotten a defective battery, or is there something I can do?
Look forward any comments...
Jay.
nowadays I have seen many of this questions; cradle and usb cannot charge a battery like that; I'm using a 3400mAh battery on my pda; had the same problem.
but it works great with charger.
no, i think usb crade should still charge the extended battery, that is, if you can actually fit it in it charges a lot longer though, that's why i always use charger.
Is that made in china?
I have even seen this on my 1490mah battery. I couldn't keep the phone on and charge at the same when the battery was depleted to zero. I had to turn the phone off and let it charge for about an hour and then it would charge. Don't know if its the same thing for you but you may want to try.
Hey guys! Just grabbed an Innocell for $45 on eBay, read through several threads and had a couple questions. First, I did not get a charger with it so whats the best way to charge it with my evo, Laptop USB or Wall USB, or should I drop a few bucks on a charger? Second, will it charge completely in my phone(and without blowing up)? Third, what is the heat like, with my stock battery it gets hot enough to make the kickstand & back of the phone pretty warm(only if I am say playing a game while charging, surprisingly it doesnt get warm using GPS like some other), so just wondering what the heat with this bigger battery is like.
Well when I purchased my extended battery it came with the external charger bundled with it. There have been debates all over about what is the best way to get a full charge without that initial 10% drop off. I always use the external one to charge my battery with great results. Haven't tried using USB but this battery, even without a full charge is still a beast. I'm a heavy user and I still haven't been able to kill it.
In the box:
The box is a very simple cardboard box with EasyAcc on it and a product overview on the bottom. Along with the battery, you get two micro USB cables of different lengths and a user manual.
First Impressions:
The battery feels very nice. It has some weight to it and the chrome trim goes well with the matte black. This battery feels very expensive.
Review:
This battery is probably the best accessory I own. The battery does what it's suppose to do and more. I was able to charge my IPod Touch and my Moto G at the same time and still had 4 lights lit up on the battery. With this battery, you can easily charge your phone fully at least 5 times as promised. The battery feels solid in your hand and it's not slippery at all to handle. It's also easy to carry around too. I was able to put the battery in my pants pocket while it charged my phone and the battery didn't feel like it was weighting me down. It was like having regular phone in my pocket. One thing about this battery is it does take a long time to fully charge since it's 18000mAh. It took me about 10-12 hours to charge this battery and I used a rapid wall charger. Make sure you charge this battery during the night while you're sleep, if you'll need it for the next day. The flashlight that's on the battery is bright and a very useful feature to have. The price is very reasonable also. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality external battery
Was curious if anyone knows what might have happened the other day with my new Moto Z Play and Incipio Offgrid battery (with wireless charging) -- can't quite figure it out:
Set phone + offgrid attached to it on the wireless charger. Phone battery at approximately 90%, Incipio at 0%. Went to sleep, woke up next morning, found Incipio battery still at 0%, phone battery at 85%, and both phone and Incipio VERY hot.
I removed the Incipio battery and charged the phone the rest of the way with the OEM charger. I then set the Incipio battery on the wireless charger (by itself). Came back a few hours and found the Incipio battery fully charged, and not hot.
Am I missing something, as to why it didn't charge when it was attached to the phone? And more importantly, why it was so hot? Are there best practices for charging using wireless that I'm unaware of?
Thanks!
I have two of the 2X capacity batteries from Perfine with included case. They're a bargain at < $25US, but the challenge is finding an external charger that will charge the batteries when they are outside the phone. Most chargers are either those "slot" chargers that only fit the standard size battery. Some others inexplicably put the contacts on the opposite side of where the V20 puts it. You have to put the battery in upside down to fit., so the extended battery is too thick to reach the contacts. The standard battery fits fine, even thought it needs to go in upside down.
I did find one generic charger on Amazon that almost works. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JZLHTHG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The drawbacks to this charger are that it charges extremely slow, and it does not completely charge the battery to 100%. It finishes charging at about 95%, regardless of how long I leave it on the charger. I could probably deal with the slow charging, since it's for an extended battery that lasts upwards of 48 hours, but would love to find one that finishes strong with a 100% charge. It's the only one that will actually charge an extended battery, so I still find it useful, but I was wondering if anyone has found one that will at least charge an extended battery to 100% charge.
Anybody find a good candidate?
Thanks
