[Q] Please Help

to the great minds of our community. I have a one x and have managed to have it stuck in bootloader loop everytime displaying "This build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC......" I think I have made a series of mistakes most likely due to me rushing into this and not quite comprehending the process. I used to flash my phone all the time during the Windows Classic however have never attempted an android until now. Alots changed
From what I can see I have made the mistake of not creating a recovery image of my stock rom and not installing clockmod.
can anyone help in getting me out of this please. I have attempted to read the recovery guides however maybe im not doing something or not understanding the new lingo but I am unable to restore my phones functionality.
Again any help on this would be greatly appreciated and apologies in advance for a noob mistake. any and all suggestions welcome
haha you can see how long its been since ive been on here just by my signature
Does your bootloader say EVITA?
If it does, this is the wrong forum, installing software from here is a bad idea.
Try the AT&T/One XL forum.

Which Recovery you guys recommending?

I flashed TWRP v2.3.1.1 but it seems to be behaving oddly. Like reporting the backups have failed, but they seemed to have worked. Stuff like that. ANyone else have similar experiences? Or what Recovery should I be using for flashing ROMs on this phone?
TIA, and sorry if is a lame question. Coming from a Motorola Photon 4G from Sprint (#MotoFail) and totally new to this phone.
Wrong section sir.
Please ask to have this moved.
Also, I use ClockworkMod. The version supported for our device is very nice. But I'm only using it because TWRP was giving me issues

Thanks guys, and sorry for the wrong forum. Wasn't sure which one to post this in. Most of the dev forums I have frequented have stickies that address flashing questions, and direction for flashing a recovery and unlocking/rooting. Thought this would be acceptable. I am sure a moderator will either delete this or move it.

[Q] Galaxy S3 Bricked or Not?

Hi everyone,
I'm really desperate for any information that can help me. Please be kind here...I haven't done anything techy stuff like this before.
Here's the situation.
My phone was rooted with supersu since I got it (my colleague helped to do it), but due to an issue with my international roaming, I decided after 1 year to try and unroot and upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.2/3
However, upon unrooting, i found that I could not upgrade due to the count and decided that I had to try and root it again to use triangle away.
Here is where it gets FUBAR.
I ran Odin and flashed the following:
I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5
Samsung-Updates.com-KERNEL-GT-I9305-SIN-I9305XXBMB2-1359977044
My phone was still working then, but I wasn't too sure how to install the binary until many tries later ...
But somehow because I didn't know how to install the binary, I ran the "Auto Root": CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5
After which, my screen flashed blue ...
When it wouldn't boot up, I flashed:Samsung-Updates.com-KERNEL-GT-I9305-SIN-I9305XXBMB2-1359977044
And did a factory reset.
The hard and soft buttons are working, but the touch screen is dead. Thinking it was a OS issue, I flashed the stock rom: I9305XXALI9_I9305OLBALI8_I9305DXALI7_HOME.tar.md5 1.2Gb file
And right now, no change. Hard and Soft buttons working, touch screen is dead....
Anybody?

As long as something is working it is not bricked. A brick means completely dead, like a brick. Perhaps the ribbon cable came loose from the touchscreen.
This is the Sprint US variant S3 section. From everything you posted you have an International model. You are in the wrong section.
