How to get offical Tmobile WM6?

hey, i heard its going to be released today, 5/4. but where do i go to download it? thanks

can anybody confirm that this is the offical tmobile release?, the reason i ask is because this doesnt seem to be a tmobile website, and i just on their website that we should go to http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ for the the update... but its not there yet

The link mentioned seems to be rum by a company called infospace. Found this on their site:

FYI T-Mobile does not host on infospace......Someone pulled a fast one
All software downloads from T-Mobile require a valid Phone Number

"T-Mobile does not host on infospace"? Who are you kidding, they have been using InfoSpace since before they were T-Mobile. Most if not all of your T-Mobile Wap Apps are through INFOSPACE. Just log into t-mobile and go under "Web & Tools" > Manage T-MobileWeb Settings and guess what pops up

their versions are the same - 1.22.531.4

I just spoke to t-mobile and they said that

is the right site it just isn't up yet and should be in a couple of hours. We will see if this is true.

It shows up now....and it points to the original infospace link....

About the 10 digit number. Can you input any 10 digit number or does it have to be a t-mobile assigned number? I ask since I'm using an unlocked version on cingular. Of course my number is from cingular not t-mobile.

I doesn't matter what number you use only because this is the same leaked file that's been around the last week. It even has the same misspelling when you're stepping through the prompts in the ROM updater.
How frustrating that T-Mobile didn't look at all these issues that all of us here and other sides have long known about.

Question on the G3

hi there
i have a couple of questions and wondering if anyone can help..
1. How to you set the LG Smart world to a country of origin...currently my set is from korea and Korea is the only option and its in korean so its pretty hard to actually use it...and everything i try to register...the app crashes
2. does anyone know how to unroot the G3?

That APP may be exclusive to that device and region at the moment. I would wait a bit to see if someone figures it out or the other regions actually get the device.

What worked for me is to register an LG account (I did that via the LG health app) and then I to log in the Smart world app using that login
it took it a couple of runs until the transfer was complete but now it is in Hebrew (my location is in Israel) instead of Korean

Hey arnonrgo....right I registered the health without and issue but with smart world the drop list of countries was just Korea so yeah pretty stuck on that one.

I purchased a lg g4 h815 to use here in Canada. Work awesome! Only question I have is there is no Canada optionfor location in the LG smartworld so it will not allow me to log into my account. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this small issue? Thanks for any suggestions!!

Hi.
I've had much the same problem from Ireland. The last reply I've had from LG was that if your country is not listed....tough (paraphrasing) and they gave me a link to an Irish Smart World site that seems to be useful for smart tv's etc but no use for the smartphone!

I had the same issue, I purchased the same phone and live in ireland and Smartworld isn't available in my country, so I just logged in as United Kingdom and it let me log in and download from there. This may help, not sure though?

LG V30+ Oreo Rom

My Korean LG V30+ has just received and updated Android 8.0 Oreo , after I registered the testing event with Korean account.
I feel it smoother and better in the battery management.
I will try to check and give the comment later.

I tried a lot of stuff to get this to work without success...
Would you mind doing some sharing on how you did that?
(The signup proccess I am aware of, the quick help, the banner etc etc.)
But I get "not available in your country"... I have tried with VPNs etc without success.
(I have the South Korean version of the phone, even though I am based in sweden)
So I guess you've done something with your LG account or setup another account?

Please try to use OpenVPN connect as the image attached.
You must changed the region first, turnoff the LTE/ mobile signal, only using Wifi to register account or use LG account that you had → change to Korea, join event and accept the conditions (Using Google translator on another mobile for Korean). That's all.

Hm, might be stupid here. How do I load a profile like you did. Mine is completely empty.. Just the two links to supporting vpn services. I signed up on open VPN but can't find it.

Haiz. You must access the free VPN site as vpngate.net to get Korea VPN file. After that you add to OpenVPN connect.

Now I managed from the phones accounts. Dummie, only turned off mobile data and not cellular network all together. Now I could change region.

How long did you have to wait after registering?
Guess it's fine to drop out of vpn and that after registration...

About 02 weeks. Follow LG schedule they said that I need wait until the first of December. But as you know I've just gotten the update rom. I think they finish the test rom now and you will get it soon.

Low call volume: Motorola support is a joke, any solution?

There is any solution to increase the call volume level, it's really too low indoor and very bad outdoor.
I'm not rooted and installed all updates.
Motorola is a joke and dealing with them is like reading thousands of copy & paste pre-made scripts.
I bought the phone online, they said it came from Bulgaria so I've to post the phone there which will cost me +AUD130.
Now I wonder why Motorola sell the phones to different countries which are not the country the buyer lives in?
I learned the lesson and I hope Motorola will bankrupt again.

You can use viper, it's in the xda labs store. They have a version now that you won't need to root for

I went to the lab store but all they talk about is the lab store app so I couldn't see any viper around.

I use the one by the same guy who made the universal disabler. Link. It works perfectly. Install it through magisk manager and reboot. Open Viper, give it root access, let it install the drivers, and reboot once more.
