[Q] Stuck at fast boot LG G3 F400L

Hi all,
Long time user first time posting a thread [sorry couldn't help myself]
Anyway I have a LG G3 F400L and I accidentally installed D855 rom on to it [AndroidNow_HD_8.0_Lollipop].
I have tried flash tool to flash the correct firmware but to no effect it now detects it as D855, so I cant install the F400L firmware using the F400L dll. I am installing an older firmware i.s 10e I have also tried 20f for F400L but the new flash tool doesn't recognize my phone, I have tried different USB ports and a different PC with Windows 7 32bit still nothing.
I am using Windows 8.1 64bit.
Regards and thank you for the help.
Anyone, please help.

Thank you for the response. I do not have access to recovery, only download mode works.
Update: I have tried using a general Dll to flash TOT file via flashtool but it doesn't let me error CrossDl [D855] to [F400L].
I had this and I set for 4 hours figuring out how to fix it. ( I had not accsess to the download mode first only to hard reset which didn't work and the "Fastboot mode started")
If you have access to the Download mode that's perfect, Follow this Tut:http://lgg3root.com/lg-g3-root/how-to-unrootunbrick-lg-g3/
Please make sure you download the correct TOT file for your phone.

Thank you that did work sort of, I was doing the same thing but someone in the comments referred to a modded DLL for the flash which did the job to some extent at least.
Its back to stock but stuck at McAfee activation, requires a pin which I do not have nor have ever created one, and now a Kill switch has been engaged and no more download mode. Out of the fire into the frying pan is what I feel like right now 100hours and 33mins without my G3, but who is counting.
That's sucks where did the McAfee activation came from??
Have you tried a hard reset ? or can you access the fastboot mode again ?

Nothing, no download mode or recovery. Boots up asks for language selection and then McAfee pops up of PIN. I am talking to McAfee support hopefully they can help.
Goodluck with that!
Thank you all.
Finally fixed. Just needed to be quick, the McAfee app gives you about 30 secs to do your thing then it pops up for pin. I opened up the McAfee app -> setting and changed the pin .

Bricked my G3 D855, No Download Mode but TWRP is possible

Hello Guys,
Firstly excuse me for my bad english.
I´ve got a big problem with my phone,
the download mode is locked by "Kill Switch" and my phone is only boot in TWRP.
Tried since a few Hours to fix it with flashing stock roms but can´t solve this problem on my own.
Is it maybe possible to flash .kdz files without the "Download mode"?
Hope somebody can help me.
-Lemonechiller
No.you can't flash kdz through twrp.flash custom Rom like fulmics to get into your phone.

Download mode doesnt work.

Hi guys, im having a big problem over here.I have European d855 g3, 32gb version. When i turn it on phone freezes on lg logo and restarts.I thought it is a soft brick so i tried everything to flash it to stock and fix it with all flash tools , and i had a errror like "MODEL INFORMATION CHECK FAIL"" that is with LG flash tool ,When i try to get into download mode phone stays there a while and just restarts, stock recovery is stuck on logo too.So i thought it was battery and i bought new one.Problem is still here. Then i tried on my friends battery too.Nothing helps. I think it is not a hard brick because it is still giving signals of life. Sorry for my bad English, but i desperately need help! :crying: :crying:
