Hi, I'll be simple.
I accidentally disabled OEM UNLOCK and I've been reseting my Note7 to STOCK ROM and then install a back-up "NOTE7-NOUGAT FE PORT v2". I want to go back to hydra but I'm not sure how to do... I don't want to brick or lose my phone so... can anyone help me? I don't know if i need a kernel or what... I'm very lost in that so, could you explain me as a good noob :fingers-crossed: ?

So I have managed to brick my phone...my fault really as I don't know much about custom roms and I've tried to use god knows which kernel with jelly sandwich mod. I can get into fastboot and flashtool still though, just not into cwm. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what to do, step by step? Where can I get stock kernel (if this is what I need) and what should I do? Please, I need phone for the weekend and don't have a spare one...

Look for a stock rom "Generic Global"
You can flash this with flashtool, and your phone will be working again (all data and settings lost, but SDCARD still OK).
After that you can spend how-ever much time you have free trying to get back to the set-up that you prefer

I just bought me the g pad 8.3 (updated to kitkat) and asking myself how far Im going with costum-ROMs, rooting etc.
From my Galaxy S2 I know, that costum ROMs are a good choice, but with that old smartphone I had no concerns about warranty.
With my G Pad I now asking myself if I only root, or if Im going to flash a costum ROM on it. I really need the xposed framework and some apps with root,......so perhaps xposed will be enough to add some mods.
Im just a little bit concerned about warranty issues so can someone plz tell me what I have to watch out for to not void it ?
In case I have to use warranty I could simple unroot and factory reset ? Or should I flash back orginalimage I backed up before ?
How is it if I use ROMs?,.......from my galaxy S2 I remember that you had to watch out to not increase the flashcounter, etc
Can someone plz kill be concerns by updating my knowledge about this.

...but it would really help me if someone can tell me a safe way, how I can first backup the stock image, so I can reflash, after rooting,etc, then turning back the device for warranty.
any tips are welcome

You can't root or flash ROMs without voiding warranty, but you can restore it with the LG software and then your warranty is back.

I need Help flashing back to stock from odin... I dont have the file I need, because I dont know what I need nor do any of these links provided work anymore... I was running 4.2.1 before i bootlooped..................... So what fille do I need and how would I flash it in odin TO have a working phone again?
IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME>> I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR 10 fold AND HELP ANYONE WITH BRICKED PHONE.. PLEASE OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF YOUR HEART PLEASE HELP ME I NEED MY PHONE WORKING TO MAKE CALLS AGAIN IN CASE OF A EMERGENCY

Thnaks alot I need all the help I can get... SO if I was runing 4.4.2 I cant flash back to 4.1.1 correct guys? otherwise I will brick
If you can tell me what file I need to grab that will help me out alot.. Currently im downloading the original firmware to flash 4.1.1 Hopefully it is O.p. an Will bring my phone back to life again

Well I'm pretty sure if flashed a new an then a old it will brick but I can't be sure honestly cause I usually don't have problems but I don't know sorry I cant help much
ITS fine I find it quite Chilling That this forum is dead. This phone is not even that old and runs like a chap you wold think people would still be using this an stuff. Like go on the Atrix 2 forum you will be unbricked in 5 min thiss3 **** is terrible..

What is my best options for creating a restore point to flash in twrp should anything go wrong? Trying to find something cloud based that I don't have to keep on my phones memory.
Question 2.
Anybody tried this rom on g920p and can conform working?

In my opinion any stable setup is a good restore point. Personally I did a backup right after root and installing recovery.
Only problem I see with doing a cloud based backup is if your phone cannot boot a PC will be required to get the phone restored. This may leave you without a working phone for awhile. Maybe having a USB drive handy that recovery will pull from is a better bet.
