I am not able to receive call using the stock wired headset by pressing the button on it. Though I can hear the ring. Once I receive the call by using the phone I can have conversation. Again for hangin up I need to use the phone.
The button on the headset does not function. Is this a bug on CM7 or in need to configure some setting ?
Appreciate your reply with possible solution.
thx
Using HTC wildfire with CM7 #86.
Hey all, Lloir,
Issue : Bluetooth isnt working as I expect it.. ...
Phone Make/Model : HTC One V, GSM, UK Version
Rom : CM9RC3
Kernel :titanium Kiss , tk_usb_cm9_201209091500.img
Have paired a plantronics PLT510 bluetooth headset with the phone, perfectly fine and phone audio is "ticked" in Pairing option
Dialing out
Stock ROM
- if i make a call with the phone using the stock Rom, then as soon as I press dial, a bluetooth connection is created and I hear the ringing tone in my Bluetooth headset..when I disconnect it also disconnects
CM9
- Whilst dialing, if i select (bluetooth from second icon), it still doesn't connect
- The only way I can make it work, is to hold the call button on the headset pressed AFTER Ive hit send/dial on the phone, then voice is transferred to Bluetooth
Receiving a call
- Stock rom, as soon as a call comes in , it connects by default to the headset
- CM9
- Voice stays with handset
- Whilst phone is ringing
- If I press and hold the call button on the headset it will hang up the call (Correct behaviour I think)
- If I press once the call button on the headset, it will answer the call, but voice is still on the handset
- If I press the second icon to select bluetooth on the phone , still nothing happens
- If I answer phone (either by BT call button) or handset, then HOLD the BT Call button on the headset, then voice streaming works......
Currently I have to answer the call using the handset, then press & hold the BT Call button for the call to be transfered to the headset.. delay of approx 5 seconds...
Once the connection is made, the quality is good, clear and consistent...
hope this is clear
Any comments? Im wondering if I flashed the kernel correctly...
y dont u just flash the kernel again, and flash the ROM too, then see if the problem persists, its hardly a 30 sec process

I'm new to rooting and I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S2 T989 to Android version 4.1.2 jelly bean.
What I just recently found out is that the function of the headphone mic doesn't seem to work like it did when the phone wasn't rooted.
When I press on my mic's button during a call, it doesn't end the call like it did before the phone was rooted.
When i'm NOT in a call and I press the mic's button, it doesn't play music.
When I try using my headphone's mic while on the phone with someone, the person can't hear me. I know the headphone mic works because I tried it with a non-rooted phone.
Anybody have a solution to this issue?
Or has anybody else using this version of android run into the same issue?
I have a pair of handsfree headphones from my old galaxy s2 and I am wondering if there is any way I can make the button work for answering calls or skip tracks. The microphone works on calls, but I need to answer manually. Any help is good. Thanks!
Try this app, it's trial but there's a full version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kober.headset

and please report back if you found a solution (probably include the information in the first post for people looking for the same)
No extra apk needed for me
I have tested with a headphone from my LG gw620 and works fine (I am on stock unrooted jellybean Moto G).
I can answer calls by pressing button on earphone's mic. During a call if I press it silences my mic and if i press it reactivates mic. (I can't end call, so)
In stand by mode a short press triggers my last multimedia apk used (radio, music, etc..) and while playing them if i press button I get pause.
Long press always ends in same end: google Voice search.
Greetings
I installed the paid apk but it does not work.
Had you any joy with this? Having same issue.
I was using a Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGS2) before moving to Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML - 4GB/64GB). On SGS2, I had an earphone with a remote button on it that would mute/unmute the calls. It could also disconnect the call on long press. This is a very useful feature that I'm missing on my Asus Z2.
Is there any way to enable this feature without rooting the phone? Maybe by using another dialer application? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Works for me !!! call mutes on pressing earphone button.

Sounds good. Are you using any 3rd party dialer or stock dialer? I'm using the Samsung headset with stock dialer and it does not seem to work for me
nopes, everything stock.
