Path App is not connecting to internet after the latest security update - Moto Z2 Play Questions & Answers

Hello Moto Z2 play community!
I got the Moto Z2play recently and have been using it without an issue.
I got the latest secutiry update and installed it overnight.
after installation , there is one specific app that does not connect to internet any more , Path, which was working flawlessly before. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.path&hl=en
Now the app shows that I am logged out , when I try to sign in , it gives a message saying that : While logging you in there was an error connecting to the internet. It I used a wrong password , I get a message saying it is a wrong password!
No other apps were affected.
I tried reinstalling the app , deleting catch , data and installing older versions without luck.
The apps works without an issue on other devices (using my credentials).
The device is Moto Z2 Play , Android 7.1.1 , Version NPSS26.118-19-14 and security patch level : November 1,2017.

[Q] Fido G3 Problems

I recently received a G3 from Fido when I renewed my contract.
I've barely used it. I've been using my old iPhone for work, and until I find a tough enough case (I work in construction and it's hard on phones) and fully migrate my data and apps, I haven't been using the G3 as a phone.
I've done some mild surfing, watched a bunch of videos, read a book or two and just generally played around getting to know android.
I did root it using LG_One_Click_Root_v1.3 and at first there were no problems.
Then I started getting errors like
Unfortunately LG IA has stopped. And then it was Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped.
It was so persistent, that I did a factory reset.
After that, the Unfortunately X has stopped messages now included:
LG Keyboard
Blootooth
Google Play services
Youtube
So I then went into SuperSU and uninstalled the root.
I've since done a few more factory resets. And in addition to the Unfortunately X has stopped messages, I also have to following problems:
File Manager shows no directories in system memory, and will not show the MicroSD (although I can mount and unmount it in Settings).
I cannot connect via USB, as a drive, or through LG PC Suite
LG PC Suite will not connect through wifi either
Accounts & sync > Add acount
Couldn't sign in
There was a problem communicating with Google servers

But these are probably related to the fact that it just doesn't seem to be connecting to anything. The browser gives me this error:

Because I can't connect to the internet (via cell network or wifi), I cannot get another file manager/explorer, or install an app to be sure that the root is really uninstalled.
Things I need/would like to know:
Is there an easy fix for this that someone can point me to?
What are the odds this was all caused by the rooting?
Is it possible an OTA update caused this?
How can I verify that no traces of rooting remain if I try and return/repair this under warranty?
How might I finish removing the root if it is not cleansed?
Can anyone provide a link to a Fido stock ROM?
TIA for any help, pointers or general info that may be of any help.

Play Store doesn't install anything

Hello everybody,
I was on Fulmics 6.1 and everything was fine. Then I updated to Fulmics 6.6 and the Play Store did not manage to download any app. I tried to go back to Fulmics 6.0, I wiped everything, tried to delete the play store cache and data but the problem seems to persist...
are you getting any error? could be an issue with your wifi connection.. have you tried using your mobile data connection?
I have performed several tries in meanwhile...
Some apps get downloaded, but others won't. It doesn't really seems to be related to the size of the app.
Sometimes the error 495 appears. I have tried to disinstall the play store updates, delete the data and cache, and so for the download manager and google play services. The problem appears even on mobile phone data.
I'm using Aptoide to replace the Play Store but it isn't really the best solution

No, I haven't tried Fulmics 5, only 6.0, nor CM13 (I don't wanna change the baseband, I could make more damages D: )
I have tried using another wifi and some apps that I couldn't download on my wifi got downloaded, but there are still apps that can't be downloaded in any way...Everytime appears the 495 error that I can't resolve with the usual fixes...

google play services issue & nougat issue

Hello all.
After 5 years of having a HTC One s it was time for an upgrade. I upgraded to the HTC m9. I am having 2 issues first is that I cannot find a version of Google Play services to work on my phone. I can find an old version where I can access the play store but I can not open any other google related apps due to an error saying that google play services needs to be updated. Any time I update I get the warning that google play services has stopped working. I have tried clearing the cash and resetting app preference but with no luck. I am on stock 6.0. What build version of the app should I be on?
On a second issue I can not update to nougat as the install fails at 25%. The screen changes to a red triangle with a line and the phone reboots and nothing has changed. Also if I go to update again the file seems to be gone as I have go download again.

Device Verification Failed and may not work properly message on booting

when i restart device verification failed and may not work properlyshows up although i havent rooted or unloacked the boot loader it shows oem loacked when checked . due to this apps keeps on crashing randomly

I have the same issue. I sideload 7.1.1 with ADB but failed for the first time. Second time it passed but this message remain.
But I don't have any crashes or lags.
Can you name some apps that crashes ?
I know that some benchmark apps crashes with 7.1.1 but it is problem of app optimalization not ID error.

cant update my phone or sign-in

Hello everyone,
I recently had several issues with my phone " Lumia 640XL Dual SIM". So, I decided to reset it.
After resetting my phone everything went well except for two issues.
First: I can't sign-in with my Hotmail account to get my data synced back again, it asks to download an app from the store and when I agree, I see nothing at the store and gives me an error code. (see attached photo)
Second: I can't update my phone, and this was an old issue before I reset it, but I said maybe after a reset everything will be good. but the problem persisted and it gave me the same old error. (see attached photo)
currently, my phone build is " 10.0.15254.369 "
P.S. I also noticed while writing this post that adding a Bluetooth device isn't working
U set a correct actual time? Because I am reading, that the 2nd isue problem have a relation with time.

I also tried to install updates while the date is changed to 15 Feb as the article says but, still the same error.
