S8+, rice 5.2, Samsung DeX crashes on launch - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Accessories

Hey all. New to the group, first post, hoping someone can help.
Got an S8+ running RIce 5.2, and everything works perfectly except DeX. As soon as I connect to the hub, the desktop launches, then I get the message "system ui has stopped, close app"
From there, the screen goes black, but I can still see my mouse pointer. Only way to get out of it is to disconnect from my hub.
Anyone else experienced this and possibly have a fix?
Cheers.

Did you fix it?

Moto Connect Application

I have the 360 working fine and paired with my Nexus 5 and the Android Wear App. I am now trying to get the moto connect application working, I get to the I'm in screen and click the I'm in button. I then get an "Unknown Error has Occurred please try again", I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and still have the same issue. Anyone else seen this error and have a solution for how to get past it?
Never mind it resolved itself, tried again this morning and it worked, strange as I havent changed anything on the phone.

Fire TV very laggy - Is there a way to see why?

Hello all,
I've had my Fire TV for a while now. It has been working fine. It is rooted and has XBMC/Kodi on it, but that is about it. It had been working fine until a few days ago when I attempted to listen to an MP3 file through XBMC. It played, but it kept cutting out every few seconds and was very choppy. I noticed when it cut out, my receiver seemed to lose audio protocol as well. I thought maybe it was an XBMC issue but when I got back to the main Amazon Fire TV operating system, it was extremely laggy just to navigate. I rebooted the machine, same issue. Event he screensaver that shows photos s laggy.
I am wondering if there is something that is running on startup causing a problem. I am not using the remote that came with it, instead using a wireless keyboard. I have been using it this way for 2 months without issue.
My next thought it to do a factory reset, but would rather not if I didnt have to. Is there a way to look at what is going on similar to task manager in Windows (sorry, not too familiar with Android itself) or should I just factory reset?
Seems really silly, but I have solved the issue. I guess something with the HDMI connection had changed. I unplugged it from the HDMI 2 port on the tv and plugged it into HDMI 3 port - rebooted and it worked. Leaving this here incase someone else experiences the same issue. I wanted to get technical with it, but the solution was so simple I didn't even think of it (Amazon support requested I try this.)

[Q] 'THIS USER IS WITHDRAWING' message

While using my tab s 8.4 I get this message 'THIS USER IS WITHDRAWING' does any one knows what it means? Thanks.
After playing more and trying to isolate the problem this message appears when you rotate the screen from portrait to landscape
Most likely a bug with that game. What is happening is it is interpreting a screen rotation as the app restarting. So it looks like you just quit and re enter the game.
Email the dev and let them know the problem.
Hi to all. I have the same problem with the message on my tab s 8.4. Stock ROM, no root. Before that i had message - an error to load widget. I used 3 lunchers Nova, Tuchwiz and Google start. I cleared cash everywhere, nothing helped me. I started to have this problem today morning.
Now i have only the message -this user in withdrawing while i rotate the device only. What is this? How to solve this problem?
Seeing this and the widget loading error when rotating screen on my partner's T705.
Looks to me like a Samsung rom error, have tried all things! Removing widgets, apps and resetting etc.
Samsung - fix this please!

Blame WatchON
I had this problem on my T700 samsung galaxy tab s 8.4.
For me it appears to have been caused by 'Samsung WatchON'. I would often check the programs open/running on my galaxt tab s 8.4, and see something that had an icon which looked like an old TV was always there, but the name after Samsung... was cut out. Whenever I swiped to close this, then subsequently rotated my screen from landscape to portrait (only one orientation of landscape to portrait worked, as in, landscape on the left side to portrait wouldn't work, but landscape on the right side to portrait would) would give the messamessage 'This user is withdrawing'. I only got the message after closing WatchON and rotating (which opens WatchON, there is no escape).
So anyway, I opened WatchON, where a message popped up saying that this service has been discontinued, tapped okay and it removed WatchON for me. Issue solved.
TL;DR Samsung WatchON is the cause, open/disable/delete to solve.
I concur with Andurael, removing WatchOn seems to sort the problem. Thanks, that was really bothering me!

Chromecast Notification not working

Hi everyone,
I'm having a very weird and annoying bug with my OnePlus 5T on OOS 4.7.5
Normally, when I start casting content to my Chromecast Audio, I get q notification on top that shows me what's going on. The same goes for all Devices on my Network. Now, with the 5T this doesn't work. My wife get's the Chromecast and Google Home Notification, but my 5T refuses to show anything. Casting works just fine, and If I open the Home app I can see the current Playback.
I've checked the relevant settings and can't see anything that might be amiss. Other apps notify correctly as far as I can tell.
Any clue what might be wrong?
Thanks!
I flashed OmniRom 8.1 and now the Cast Notification is there. The Rom is a lot slower than OOS and Camera is not fully supported, but apart from that it works just fine and doesn't have the Cast bug... weird...

Question Random System Crash When Connecting to an External Display

So I play a lot of games on my phone, whether it's an emulator, xCloud, Minecraft, or something else, I usually prefer to connect my device to my TV to more comfortably play. However recently I've been running into a bug on my OnePlus 9 Pro. (T-Mobile Version unfortunately). Here is where I'm at, every time I plug my phone into a TV, it freezes and crashes. Just like that. It worked for a while and then randomly stopped (I hadn't downloaded anything new or updated anything yet). I did download the newest firmware and still experienced the crash. I have switched the resolution, adjusted the frame rate, turned off Desktop Mode, and even did a factory reset. Still crashing at this point. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a cause or a fix? I am already on my second device from T-Mobile for this issue (exact same experience) so any help is appreciated.
