So to kinda describe what my phone is doing is the phone is bootlooping kinda.. The phone will boot up to the OS after about 5 seconds the phone will restart itself and it will continue to do that same process forever till I force the phone into recovery and wipe cashe the phone will boot into the OS and will work for about an hour then start looping process again.. It doesn't matter if I'm on the factory image or a custom rom it does it all the time..
Any help would be great..

Hey,
I'm worried that my phone is bricked, but would like to hear if there are some options of reviving my phone without sending it to repairs.
I was in ClockworkMod Recovery as I wanted to update my ROM from oxygen-v.2.0-RC7 to the latest version.
I had wiped all data and dalvik cache and was in the middle of installing the .zip when my battery popped out (don't ask how).
Now my phone won't boot up at all. When connected to a charger it vibrates 7 times, but the LED is not on and I cannot boot it, even when trying Power+Vol. button.
Am I screwed? Or is there a way to save it?
Nevermind! It suddenly decided to boot up into Recovery on one of my attempts and I managed to restore my old settings.
It seems it just needed some time.
Mods are welcome to delete this thread.
I was on 4.1.2
Everything was just fine. I did a factory reset because I was leaving my job and I wanted my office email address off of my Nexus.
After I performed a reset. The phone got stuck at the Google boot logo, then goes dead after 5-10 seconds.
I remove the battery for +2 minutes ( alteast - if i plug it back after less than 2 mins- it remains dead ) and then put it back in... and it boots upto the X logo, and then again stuck, dead.
Again removed battery for +2 mins...this time tried to go into Odin Mode...it gets stuck as soon as the first screen shows up.
Once I got past the X logo and it said Android is updating...optimising 1 of 11 apps... Stuck again after 5 secs...and dead again.
WTF! is this!!! Is it semi-bricked???
It seems you have no data to care about so you have done factory reset. Therefore, if you are rooted and has a custom recovery, just go into recovery mode and wipe all then flash the ROM again.
If you were using everything stock without root or anything, then follow the guide here to return to stock and start fresh again.
Hope this helps
i followed this guide
teamandroid.com/2016/03/08/update-tmobile-galaxy-note-2-t889-android-601-resurrection-remix-marshmallow-custom-rom/2/
and it worked perfectly until yesterday
the other day i looked at my phone and it formatted and restarted on its own. i didnt really lose much.
so i accepted it and reset up all my apps and such, and then when my phone died and i charged it
it got stuck in boot loop forever
i tried wiping both cache and reboot recovery it skips boot loop long enough to load up but as soon as i see my homescreen for a second it boot loops again.
so then i tried completely formatting the phone over which worked until this morning when i woke up my phone was dead. swapped batteries and turned it on. booom boot loop again.
is there any advice on what i should do?
im able to format it and get it working again if something needs installed etc
but i want to stop this from happening again
Q: is it possible that a certain app i downloaded is forcing the boot loop? i dont see why it would because ive had all the same apps for months and it just happened out of no where.
i appreciate any help, id just like to know why in the world its happening, and what the best course of action would be
im thinking maybe restore it back to factory firmware and unrooting and starting the process all over again
i seen something for 7.1 would that be better?
Hello there
After my phone randomly rebooted while watching a video it ran into a bootloop.
I had been running LineageOS for the past couple of months and everything was fine up until yesterday.
I have tried restarting, and everything and only managed to reflash twrp via adb and force it to boot into twrp, but now it's stuck booting into that.
when I try to boot into lineage I only see the boot animation of lineage that never stops, and when I boot into twrp I see the boot screen of that, which never stops.
I've let the phone do its thing for so long that it has run out of power, so it's not something that just takes a long time. I feel like this thing is completely bricked now.
Anyone maybe got a solution? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
Think I might have the same issue, except I didn't flash or modify anything on the phone. I'm running all stock ROM and all the rest.
Stuck in a bootloop in recovery mode. Mini partition does not recognise the phone. Same with QPST. QComDloader does, but only for a few seconds, so whatever I try it's not fast enough before the next reboot...
Whats are the options? I don't want to have to send it back to China
My Nexus 5x that was running 8.1 just randomly turned off yesterday and won't boot into android. Sometime later i tried to turn it back on and it worked and it turned off by itself 2 mins later. i somehow manged it to get into fastboot mode and I then unlocked the bootloader and flashed the stock firmware . But that did not help at all , in fact the phone was now completely dead and it only goes into fastboot sometimes while the other times it being stuck in a bootloop . while luckily when it went into fastboot, i have tried installing different boot images like boot4core but it still wont do anything its really weird, sometimes it doesn't respond to any key combination while sometimes it would go normally into fastboot. Need help , i Have no clue!! plzzz
Same Problem here! Running 8.1 and tap Uppdate Chrome and Alexa App, that the Phone freez and Reboot. After reboot he try to load the apps but freez. Now it wont boot to system and recovery say no command. When i now will enter Recovery the Phone reboots.
No open bootloader and no root. Stock 8.1 Rom from Google
Edit: Try to start Phone in Secure Mode (When Google Logo Popps up press Volume -) Say the System is Corrupt and do a Factory Reset. After Reset the Phone stuck on Boot too
Edit Edit: OK think thats the CPU Hardware Bug. Phone dont start anymore...

My daughters phone just started doing the same thing this morning. Haven't gone through any tests yet, but it is constantly restarting. Can't get it to go into recovery through normal means.
