Can any one port touchwiz into yureka.!
I was waiting for touchwiz for a very long time,
I know it wierd to be a touchwiz fan when custom stock experience is there for your device, but nouget touchwiz has a tons of incredible features that drwas my attention.
So if anyone can do this, highly appreciated.

Recently, ICS has gained much popularity, but since then less people work on the rom itself and more people work for tweaks. There is something important, regarding the way Samsung do it - the stock Samsung I9000 camera.apk is superb. I know everything is chained with the touchwiz framework, but the Touchwiz launcher ain't the best thing to take from Samsung. I can see that the CM/MIUI Camera.apk has recently became better and better, but still it lacks functionality and need more work on it.
If it is possible to port Touchwiz on ICS(or any custom non-touchwiz rom) and if some ROM developers state that they have imported/tweaked/added touchwiz framework to their rom, why no add touchwiz camera.apk? Is it even possible? I am just asking the people who know the answer. I am also a developer, but not Android one, and I know that in the developer's world *almost* everything is possible

I really like the look of aosp and the features of TW. I would get fixed up on one for a week and then think that I was missing out on a feature of the other. I'm looking for a ROM that bridges that gap. A Rom with aosp look and TW features. Any suggestions?
Hello everybody. I just have a small question and it has been frustrating me for the past week. I do not like the Touchwiz on my Note 2, I prefer the stock android; it looks better in my opinion. I also like the stock keyboard better than the Samsung keyboard. Is there a custom rom or a trick I can do to accomplish both of these on my Note? I love everything else about my phone, except for these two things. :crying:
If you look in the dev sections, you'll see both options for aosp/CM roms, and roms that are themed for looking like aosp.

I want A fast rom with good battery life. I dont care about the S Pen features.

Aosb 1.3.2, its based on CM 11 and doesn't have S pen features like Touchwiz Rom

It depends what you want. If you're on stock rom now... what lags it is TW... get rid of that crap with a compatible launcher like ADW Ex. Same thing goes if you install any good ROM based on original sammy (like Revolution and Hurricane, etc)... I always get rid of the TW (touchwiz) launcher because it's crap.
If you want to try roms not based on original sammy, then AOSB or other flavors are the choice (but again, it depends on the launcher you use; Apex, Nova, ADW, etc).
I personally find ADW Ex the fastest of the launchers.
You will have to try different ROMs yourself until you find one you like (people will give their own suggestions so this is subjective).
Be sure to read up on bootloader you will need for each ROM. Many new ones require the use of MJ5 - or you will have tons of problems.

Currently I'm running NB4 and 4.4.2. I'm running AOSP with Slimkat, and multiple apps to make the S Pen usable again. However, I'm looking to switch to TouchWiz but I'm wondering if there is ROM compatible with my device that has an AOSP theme. Or perhaps the UI is just different enough to not look like TouchWiz. I'm trying to get full S Pen Support just like stock, so those apps need to come with the ROM. Also if it's debloated that would be great too in addition to having 4k recording and a great camera app.
I've looked around in our forums but need some suggestions, this isn't a which is the best thread, it's looking for TouchWiz ROMS that may have different theme options close to AOSP, compatible with my device, and all the features and apps from stock. I was interested in X Note, but apparently it's not supported on our device.
