I setup my GW today and went to Sheetz to try to use it. I sat there like an idiot with my phone out as it did nothing and the line backed up behind me. How close do you have to get to the paypass thing?
It shouldn't be difficult, just bring your phone near the pay pass reader and it just works

lol 6 inches? you gotta almost touch it to the terminal. Ever see how close you have to get 2 phones together for android beam? like that close.
You should be happy that for your own security it doesn't work from 6inches away.

I tried at my local CVS today and they found out that their card reader didn't have pay pass activated, even though it supports it. The manager told me they had no idea how to set it up and that they really didn't care - in the past year that they have had it Im the only one that has ever asked about the feature.

Quick question, I am getting my gsm gn tomorrow. Which stores have paypass? like Starbucks , walmart, bestbuy? Tbh I haven't seen any paypass symbols b4. My area, while not a big city at all, is pretty well developed, even has vz lte.

They have a app in the market developed by mastercard to find nearest pay pass

Phone kept loosing signal and had many other issues. Got RMA for refund from Handtec, sent phone back - no replies to my emails, no refund. Been nearly two weeks now. Will report to my credit card issuer and trading standards.
Just be careful where you buy your stuff!
Handtec are my favorite supplier and never had an issue with them whatsoever. You tried ringing them?

USB charging wasn`t bug.
Loosing reception on regular basis. Had to turn off/on to get back. Often asking for wireless network password when there is none set - worked with other phones and PC. Multiple touches not working in games in landscape mode. Once a day it will turn off itself for no reason.

You have such right.
It was asking to type in password to connec to wifi when there was no password set. If you leave it blank, then it doesn`t let you continue, because password field is empty.
Maybe you weren't actually trying to connect to the right router? Did your router have a generic name?

Yeah right I have just one router at home and I have two laptops connected, they all work fine.

I agree. I was expecting to see a thread like someone impersonating Handtec scamming customers or an actual case of fraud. While it doesn't sound like they responded timely enough, they did eventually respond.

Ah that's my issue then. I went ahead and created a new account with my already registered device and I was still able to get the case. Awesome. :laugh:

Obviously the link in the op is good, but it keeps telling me "the Page I requested cannot be found". FML!
Just registered and got my email almost instantly......only had three colors to choose from tho. Orange, mint and pink. Chose the mint color.

Just search on fb for "samsung mobile usa" and you'll find the register / owner's hub. The link didnt work for me either.

I clicked the link and it sent me to fb log in. So I logged in and it took me to web and asked for all my info. Did not see anuthing of the page about free stuff.

It won't say anything about getting free stuff on the facebook registration page. It says it in the email after registering.

You don't get an email confirmation, its just a waiting game after you place the order.
