can download beta Marshmallow update 6.0 right now. be quick
I had a little bit of hope that if it were to come to the US of all the carriers tmobile would be on board but I guess just South Korea and UK. Im just so confused at Samsung. They only beta test the s6 and s6 edge but not the newer note5 or edge+, and yet 3 weeks ago tmobile had their hands and leaked a running build of mm for the note5. I can't figure this out.

The purpose of these leaks is to test and depending on feedback they can finalize and deploy the update, any day now, any day now.
Pp.

yep, any day, any day, i'm sure it will take longer for tmobile to push their own ROM to their device xD prob it gonna take another month...
With all the talk about how Google is changing their focus to be more mainstream, has there been any mention if they will still be releasing the "factory" images for any major updates/security patches like they have in the past for Nexus devices? I could not find any information about this.

No, no news yet. I think there's a chance they won't because this isn't a Nexus. Who knows though.

Well I saw on https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
They might because if you see the Google Pixel C factory images are there,
I assume they would release them for the Pixel phones same place when released
Remember not released yet or launched why would files be in public yet.

I know they won't be there now but usually stuff like this leaks or Google confirms now that the phone has "launched". Guess I'll wait until release.

Pixel device Factory Images should still be available, if going by precedent.
Plus since Google doesn't have a Physical repair center and Pixel owners most likely will not be able to get support from local provider: It would be very wise to allow Pixel owners the ability/convenience to 'Factory Update refresh'
They will most likely be posted
I can't imagine it would be much different from the Pixel C in regards to factory images.

Above link found on reddit. Not from official sources, I think.
Pixel and Pixel XL images are up at the Nexus Factory Images site.

Europe / Hungary no luck. There is still no OTA update.
Deleted
I have OTA downloading now. 91.2mb in size
So I got my pixel today. When I go to camera settings I don't see an option for a night sight. I have the latest android update. Anyone knows what's going on?
its not out yet.
Hm weird that they advertise it then don't actually ship it with the phone. Thanks anyways!
A version of it has been ported. Just do a quick Google search and download the GCAM APK with night sight enabled.

Actually you're wrong. Google does NOT and did NOT advertise Night Shot. Go to the Pixel 3 product page, there is NO Night Shot anywhere. https://store.google.com/product/pixel_3
What Google did was they ANNOUNCED Night Shot at the Pixel 3 event and said that it is coming LATER.

yup. i stand corrected
As previously mentioned, you can download a version of the camera that has it enabled and it doesn't overwrite the existing camera, so you get the best of both. Although a lot of sites say night sight has been released to phones yesterday or the day before, but I can't find it in the official camera app.

Arguably, the release event could be viewed as advertisement. Although saying it will come out at a later date is a cop out because that could be two years from now haha.
Just curious if anyone has found a way to bring this to older Pixel phones yet. This is the one feature i'm really looking forward to.
It seems by virtue of the fact there are no replies, that this is either an ignored post, or there are no answers as of yet.
Reported from Slash Gear:
"It’s still unknown whether older Pixel phones will get the same treatment. The Pixel 2 is still within the supported period so, unless Google considers it to be blocked by older hardware, the compact Google Assistant should still be able to make its way to it"

I already have it in my Pixel 2 XL. I am a level 7 local guide though with early access to upcoming features. So yes, this will definitely hit the Pixel 2 (XL) as well!
@addemer - that's awesome news! How are you finding it?

How do you know you have it? I thought i read that GAssistant wont have the cool new UI like on the Pixel 4.
Im also a level 7 local guide and GAssistant beta tester. But i dont think i have it.
I do not have the Pixel 4 UI but the new compact view that the article above mentions.
That wasn't what I was referring to. I was looking for the new faster assistant with continued conversation. I heard others have gotten it to work on a rooted phone by changing the build.prop to a pixel 4.
