Hi! Original Power Optimizer not working on MM devices, only on Nougat, even on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X
Here`s my port for MM devices, even working on Meizu M3E
Install zip file via recovery.
working on z3c
Hello
What does it work for?
Cannot install on Z5 / crDroid 7.1.2 (corrupted package...)
FC after rebuild and resigned
Edit: I've found a workaround with the original apk (installing it as regular app and then systemize it with Magisk systemizer)

Z3 compact MM .291 here. This app is doing just the opposite: it eats my battery very fast. I did NOTHING unusual to my phone for 3 days when i tested this app, and it drained about 30% faster my battery, though it was supposed to save the charge.
Uninstalled it and the charge has come to normal: one full day (7:00-22:00) on a single charge, 3G always on, moderate usage.

I have bought Lenovo z2/plus in April 2017 and got the ota for 7.0. I installed and tbe phone works fine. One day back I installed RR-N-v5.8.3-20170622-z2_plus.zip in the phone with clean flash. But I am facing some problems
1. I can't fund magisk on my phone.
2. I can't download anything forum Google play store
3 I am using 4g sim. The speed of internet has been reduced and even I a 15 KB pic takes around 30 to 45 seconds to download which was not the case when I am using ZUI naugat version
Kindly help to solve the problems
Can anyone suggest me the best rom for my K5 (a6020a40) that don't have any bug's. Because I don't want to test every rom on my device.
If you want something fully functional, I would suggest a Marshmallow ROM because custom Nougat ROM are still young, perhaps Resurrection Remix. I use personally AospExtended Nougat ROM : it has really few bugs and is fine for an everyday use. It will also depend on your use of your phone : games (you'll need good battery life and perf), Volte, or other specific stuff...

I know that it's buggy on Nougat roms, you can try RR Marshmallow but I don't really know because I do not use this functionality.

Hey, would you recommend me a ROM that is good to go "as is"? I don't want to reflash over and over again. It can be older, just stable and bugless. Ideally good performance but i don't play games.
I understand Marshmallow is better in my case, but which rom?

As I said, search in XDA's threads an old Resurrection Remix build, it might work.
On Nougat you can also try the Pixel one, I'm on it and it's very stable ! But I don't know about VoLTE.

I tried RR 5.7.4 (Marshmallow) but it made my phone stuck on boot screen. On its thread people report same thing.
Is everything working on Pixel Nougat? (I know you don't know about volte

As I said, it's adjustable, you have 3 modes :
- conservative
- interactive (hotplug if I understood well)
- performance
Perhaps you should have a look at this and its meaning. Why don't you want hotplug ?

MIUI 8 , lollipop version, it works really well , everything seems fine except LED notification. I am using this . I have not seen any bug other than LED notification. Also , Resurrection Remix Nougat is good too , but Remix takes so much battery power though they say they save power. I will say go with MIUI 8 ,

How is the battery life in miui lollipop?
Battery life is better than Nougat of RR , Flyme 5.1 , leniage Nougat . But still if you are using 3-4 g network then get a power bank , cause battery size is seriously low for 3-4 g network . MIUI is better in all , I have used all roms for 7-7 days and I See only MIUI doesn't have any bugs

Navigation and status bar stuff is working. Screen recording in the power menu can also be enabled and PIN scrambler is working. Didn't really try every tweak available, but it didn't cause me any trouble. Some things are just not working (lock screen shortcuts for example).
Currently on xposed v89.
Gravity box works great.
Will it work with xa1 g3221 android 8.0.0? Thanks
Few months ago, @fxsheep (you have my utmost respect ) has successfully ported a sGSI of OxygenOS 5.1.0 Pie for Treble devices .
Here's the link:
[ROM][WIP][sGSI][PORT][P]Oxygen OS 5.1.0
I tried to flash it on our Zuk Z2 Plus.
1. I wiped everything except Internal Storage & USB-OTG.
2. I clean flashed AEX 5.8 Oreo for vendor.
3. After completed, I did first boot on AEX.
4. Then, I followed the instructions in original guide (restore backup, flash patch, wipe data and flash both FBE_disabler and permissiver) and could successfully boot.
But, as dev as mentioned, there are a number of device specific problems. The notch is visible (I forgot to take screenshots :\), apps keep crashing, Bluetooth doesn't work, and so on. :crying:
I tried to fix these by editing system files, but instantly realized I didn't have nearly enough knowledge and time to get everything working.
I hope this is possible (considering there are quite a lot of differences between OP6 and Z2), and devs looks into it. Even in these extremely early stages, the performance is buttery smooth, and I think it would make for an amazing port. :fingers-crossed:
Please take up this project
There are a lot of 8.1 ports.Use OOS Oreo instead.

For Z2, there are only 8.0 ports. And they don't have many features like native navigation gestures, etc. And I really like the UI (shelf, animations etc) of this sGSI.
So after testing AOSP extended, LineageOS17, Havoc OS and even DerpFest OS, I think moto z2 (albus) doesn't do great with GSI for android 10. There always was something off and the stability was far from one you expect from a gsi. I used KVT 2.3 aroma to boot. However, there are other devs releasing unofficial GSI roms as well which I haven't tested. Like ExPressLukeGSI or Trisquel collection which probably has a special thing for albus. So I am posting this expecting replies from anyone showing love to z2 play, If you know something then tell me. If you want to test the GSIs and can't find links, ask me.
i would to try gsi but i use daily mt phone and i need to something stable at now mokee is working ok but i had a issue with calls. i never try this treble roms xd

does anyone know if they are developing a gsi or normal Android 10 ROM for Moto Z2 Albus because I have been waiting for it for a long time and I would like to ask that please continue supporting this team please
@Euiz702 GSI is not specific for some device. You can use almost any GSI on Z2 Play already now

What kind of problems did you have? I'm testing phusson's plain AOSP and so far works good. Scrolling and some apps, especially Google maps run smoother than on stock Pie. I'm using modded Google Camera 6 (shared in Apps&Mods forum), it works good, just HDR+ can't be turned off and it tends to improve reality too much. I just didn't manage to install Magisk yet.
I also wanted to try Trisquels's gsi-albus stuff, but SourceForge has been working badly recently and I wasn't able to download anything

If you want a rom with good battery life, try DescendantOS x (10). Havoc is good, but not for battery life.

I don't know and I already left. But before, my battery usually lasted for one day, now maybe half maybe a bit more.
I tried DescendantX, but it seemed a bit undone with something in status bar. But maybe I try it once more.
I also tried GSIs from gsi-albus project on SourceForge and they seem good, but they have always navigation bar on and fingerprint gestures off (doesn't matter what you select in kvt installer). So I wander whether they are really built with Albums in mind...
Can someone here help me decide whether to take the plunge or not into flashing a custom ROM on my daily driver Z2 Play, by clarifying some of my doubts.
1) Whether the Moto experiences like Moto Actions and Moto Display will be available when using custom ROMs and GSIs?
2) Will it be possible to return to stock ROM after flashing a 64bit Treble based ROM?
3) Also what is the best, most stable Android 9 or 10 based ROMs for Moto Z2 Play?

There are no stable Pie or Q ROMs for Z2 Play unfortunately. Only GSI ones that are all more or less bugged and it seems like no developer is interested in this phone anymore. For stable ROMs you can choose only from 8.1 ones which are all quite outdated at this point as well. Anyway I use unofficial LineageOS 15.1 as daily driver for like 1,5 year now and have no complaints, it's absolutely rock solid and latest release has February 2020 security patches. Moto actions, Moto display (kinda, it's different than stock) and fingerprint gestures works.
But honestly I don't think there is much point in flashing custom rom now, especially if you have stock 9.0.
Pixel experience plus on Albus
I have flashed the Pixel Experience Plus Android 10 GSI on Albus by using the latest KVT 2.4 and it works like charm.
There are no major bugs, everything is working fine like basic functions and performance is awesome.
Only ambient display is not working, other than that almost everything is working fine and this GSI can be used as daily driver.
And magisk is also working.
Did anyone tried to install Erfan's Oxygen OS GSI on Albus???

Good to hear that pixel experience is working for you. I am based in india and none of gsi seem to provide volte functionality. Can you confirm that the rom you have tried is working with volte? Please provide the source of the pixel experience gsi you have tried. i have tried Erfans gsi, its same volte doesn't work. Thanks
