Can GT-I9197 with latest version/knox/locked bootloader be rooted?

Just a question im hoping someone can help me with
I have an S4 mini, I-9197 with std firmware, 4.2.2
build is I9197XXUBML3 which has knox and locked bootloader
I would like to get root on this device to run a particular app, but according to CF website
"UNLOCK BOOTLOADERS If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device"
So has anyone sucessfully got root on this model phone and software or is it not possible due to locked bootloader and potentially bricking it,
Im not concerned with KNOX warranty status as i dont use any apps that need it, just need root access.

Try Towelroot

I guess that that phone is completely locked from modification.

[Q] Going to switch from Sony Xperia M to SG4 Mini... Got questions

Keep in mind that I'm not an expert on the custom side of android. I've only so far managed to flash cyanogen and root my device
Here are my questions:
Is every samsung phone's bootloader unlockable? I was locked into the stock rom on my xperia because - "Bootloader unlock allowed: no".
Is there any sort of mechanism preventing me from unlocking the bootloader on the s4 mini, like on my xperia M?
Will "knox/eFuse" (what's the difference?) brick my phone if i try to flash something?
I've already went into download mode and knox wasn't tripped, says 0x0.
Thanks for reading

Most samsung devices don't require unlocked bootloaders , you can directly flash roms after you root the device and put a custom recovery ( TWRP/CWM )
Tripping knox/efuse it only voids warranty

[Q] Will rooting affect unlocking with the T-Mobile app?

I've rooted a few devices in the past, but I've never unlocked any phones with this T-Mobile Device Unlock app.
Could anyone tell me if rooting and tripping the Knox counter affects unlocking using the T-Mobile app? I don't think it would but I'd like to be sure I can still unlock my device in the future after rooting my device.
Has anyone rooted first and then unlocked their T-Mobile S6 Edge?
Thanks in advance

nah dude. I rooted the TMob S6 Edge I have here and even froze the unlock app via Titanium Backup. it does nothing. I purchased this phone for our store with the intention of unlocking it because it was financed only to find out its damn near impossible. Waiting on a software fix. Maybe a custom ROM or flashing AT&T's software if its released..

Root and warranty? (5" model)

Hi,
There doesn't seem to be much content about the 5" model here...
Do the same unlock/root/flash procedures apply for this model as the other ones?
My main concern is the warranty: is there a way to gain root without leaving traces? I suppose if I get root with locked bootloader, I can easily revert it if I need warranty, right? Can someone point me at the steps required to safely root and unroot the device while still having a working warranty after the process?
Thank you

Question Can I enable Knox Again ?

Hi
I was on Xiaomi Devices before and they have no Limits for rooting and Unlocking Bootloader .
No I have a A52s and tried to root it without any knowledge about Knox and its Limits !!!
Right after rooting and knowing that Camera wont work good on Unlocked Samsung Device , I unrooted and Locked my Bootloader Again But some of Apps are not working and give error about Not Official Firmware !
Can I ReEnable the Know ?
Negative. Knox is efuse safeguarded. Once tripped the only way to reset it would be to changed out the chipset or more likely the mobo.
For many of the effected Samsung apps there are workarounds if you're rooted though.
