Hi,
I'd like to be able to change the colour of part of a calendar title. I have my kids names in their events, and would like them in red. Currently I have to put the markup in the google calendar title which isn't ideal!
i.e. 'John - Cricket' - I'd like to say 'If 'John' is in the title, make 'John' red'...
Possible?

Quick question... I've just switched back to Sense from CM6, and I'm wondering if I am losing my mind.
Am I right in saying that it is NOT POSSIBLE to edit calendar entries using HTC calendar? That seems unbelievable to me, but so far the only options I can see are to create an entry or delete. There is no "edit" option. I'm 99% certain that the AOSP calendar has this.
Can someone please confirm?
Thanks,
Matt_TX
EDIT: Even more bizarre... I CAN edit entries created on my Exchange Calendar, but I CANNOT edit entries created on my Google Calendars. So weird!
My edit option seems to depend on where the entry comes from. If I add something striaght to the calendar I can edit it as I please. If it's something that sync'ed from lets say Facebook then I can not edit it. My work exchange also syncs and it all depends on what the event is and if it's something I originally made or not. All in all I think it depends on the type of even it is but I will also be watching this thread to see if someone has a little more info they can chime in with.
This is really very strange...
I can add, edit and delete apppointments on my Exchange calendar - regardless of where the entry was orignally made - Phone, OWA or Outlook.
I can ONLY add or delete (NO EDIT) appointments on my Google calendar(s) - regardless of where the entry was originally made - Phone or Web.
Anyone know why this is the case? AOSP calendar works just fine... Is this a bug in Sense?
I'm making myself a little calendar widget because with Simple Calendar I can't seem to get it to show me a description in any of it's appearance modifications
My question is. Is there a way to view past events or events from today all day? For instance I have events on my calendar from 12am to 1am because of a calendar sync with google from another application. I can't change that but I would like to see the 12am-1am events on Wednesday all day on Wednesday
Make sense? Can Zooper do that?
One other thing I'd like to do is color the calendar title based on what the title is. Can I set a color based on the Title string? There are only 3 to choose from in my calendar
Ok, I think i've learned from research that my 1st question is not possible yet. I'm going to have to figure a way to change the events to all day
I figured out the 2nd part of the question and for those interested
Code:
[c=$#C0TITLE#=String1?#FF0000$$#C0TITLE#=String2?#00FF00$$#C0TITLE#=String3?#0000FF$]#C0TITLE#[/c]
My calendar widget no longer shows events at all. Did Google change Zoopers ability to read the calendar data?
uninstalling the calendar update fixed the issue
Hi Folks,
I saw that #C0COLOR# actually returns the color of the calendar and not the individual event. So, i have got two calendars synced up with my google calendar. It shows Green for all events coming from calendar 1 and lighter green for all events coming from calendar 2.
My question is... is there a way to show the event color, note that while creating a new entry in google calendar you can choose the event color, and that's exactly what i want the variable to return (the color code).

Harsh Jayara
Ok, im having a fun problem with a custom calendar widget.
If i have a rich text layer that also contains a conditional, zooper throws an error when calendar items have $ in them.
Ive tested it pretty heavily, and this breaks the widget every time, and ive tried every formatting option i can find for the conditional...
Calendar item title: "calendar test $10"
Rich text: $2>1?yes:no$ #C1TITLE#
Alternate test: $(1+1)$ #C1TITLE#
This is the simplest conditional i can find.
Even with the conditional on a separate line, it still breaks.
If i remove the conditional, the variable displays properly
Is there a way to escape an entire variable so that the $ is ignored, or am i doing something wrong with the conditional itself?
Thanks in advance.
Instead of using a rich text module use a regular text module and see if that works.
As long as your rich text module contains a conditional there's no way to escape a dollar sign. However it looks like a regular text module doesn't have the problem with dollar signs in variables that rich text modules do.
Thanks for confirming that its not just my system.
Unfortunately, not being able to color code the calendar widget makes it almost completely useless.
On the plus side, apparently adding a conditional like this also causes zooper to process Bbcode passed in from tasker variables. So i can use tasker to process out/escape the offending characters, and generate the widget text there.
Its turning into a really ugly workaround though, since tasker doesnt handle calendar data well.
Is there an official place to make requests/bug reports, or should i just send the zooper devs an email?
How can we change the color?
Do you mean the stock one? Doesn't seem possible. It's not to be surprised, given that we had to wait so long to change the carousel wallpaper
Are you talking about
"Choose different colors for calendar events
If you have multiple e-mail accounts synced with your phone, you can assign a color for each account. When you select a new color for an account, your calendar events appear in that color. To learn more, go to General Settings for Email, Contacts, and Calendar."?
