Recently i have updated my onyx with PA 7.3.0. now am started to face the network Connectivity issues in my carrier operator and as well in wifi. It's keep on dropping at times. And even if i toggle on the data Connectivity via Carrier operator (Jio) or through my wifi it doesnt changes. Just showing as not connected in network indicators . Is there anyone facing the same issue...?? And is there any fix released by Paranoid android team
OnePlus 3T. I can confirm. I've moved from stock stable firmware to PA 7.3.0 now I'm constantly experiencing cellular network issues, mostly in 3G (4G, more or less, works as expected), and I've never had something like this before on original firmware. The carrier is Digi.Mobil (Romania)

Hey guys I need help,
I recently flashed loserskater's SRx3 TW based ROM for my i747 which went fine but I decided to revert back to an AOSP rom for overall smoothness. For those unfamiliar with SRx3 ROM, it comes with an AROMA installer which had one of the options indicating that if I wanted WiFi I had to use a specific kernel. So, naturally, I did. Well now after reverting back to an AOSP ROM, I'm noticing that LTE isn't connecting and that my signal continuously drops. Every 10 or so minutes my mobile signal will drop completely, not allowing me to make calls or texts. Also, when the mobile network is available I'm seeing H+ in my statusbar when normally I've been seeing LTE since I live in a really strong LTE network. I've checked the Mobile Networks section of settings and cannot figure out which one needs to be selected to re-enable LTE. HELP!
I have the same problem. A little less frequent than you though.
I have been using Beanstalk 4.4.4 for E980 for quite a while and my phone has been hehaving well. But lately I can't make or receive any phone calls if my network is on LTE. I know that voice is on 3G (HSPA) but when I am on LTE and I make a phone call, the signal switches to H and then it disconnects after I hear one ring. Also, when I receive a call and I am on LTE, once I hit answer, the call disconnects. I then did factory reset and also flashed other CM11 based roms such as Vanir and Blissstalk and the issue persists. I searched on the web and it seems to be an issue with CM11 users with ATT such as Nexus 5 and one plus one users. The rumor is that ATT is experimenting VoLTE in the northeast area (I live in NYC) and that there is a problem in CM11 in that situation. My wife's S4 doesn't have this problem with touchwiz version of kitkat. I can fix this problem by choosing 3G as my preferred network but then I lose LTE speed in data.
So are there any other people experiencing the same problem? Is there a CM fix that I could flash to avoid this problem?
try this
You try changing preferred network to 3G from LTE, and maybe that should fix the issue.
I'm using e980 with CM11 snapshot m11, and starts about a month ago, my phone starting to loose the connection to the mobile network regularly. It happens when ever I reboot the phone, and I have to reboot the phone 2-3 times before it's able to connect again. I switch to the cm11 nightly 3 days ago, as of right now I have been able to connect to the mobile network each time I reboot my device. I saw a few complaints regarding this issue on the cyanogenmod forum. Just thought I share the problem.
On stock based (Cloudy G3) with modem 20i/k i get 4g 90% of the time.
I am using a d855 in the UK on vodafone (also have a stock SGS5 also on vodafone connected to 4G, so its the G3)
I find any CM/AOSP based rom to connect to H and H+ and either:
1) take about 20 mins to find 4g signal or
2) find no 4g signal at all.
Ive seen the other threads which state check APN settings
vodafone contract
vodafone WAP contract (SGS5 uses this)
using the CM LTE toggle in quicksettings (this is what i used to use 6 months ago to force refresh the search, seems to be a different problem now)
used the pro version of network toggle, which isnt working at all on either rom (AOSP/CM based)
I have also tried this with the modems:
restoring 20i modem from cloudy G3 twrp backup
20L
20T leak
i know that some things may never be as good as stock but i notice the following differences
Stock - 4g/LTE connected instantly on boot
aosp - network has no service for about 1 minute on reboot, then connects to h/h+
stock - barely ever drops to h+ from 4g (we even have 4g boosters in the office as the company uses vodafone)
aosp - once eventually connected it stays connect until the next network problem (going underground/no signal or rebooting)
Roms ive found this on over the past few days:
Xenon HD
BlissPop
im using additional mods (should affect signal)
dynamic Gapps
LCD framerate mod
Hi everyone,
My M9 has been having consistent issues with LTE connectivity. I'm rooted, s-off. The issue I'm having is that I regularly only connect to the 3G network, and my phone labels it simply as "3107". In the network list, I'm often connected to the Verizon Tracfone network, not the full vzwinternet network. If I manually switch these, it only lasts a short amount of time and LTE connectivity is weak. I've re-flashed a stock rom, same issue. New sim card even, same issue.
Any suggestions on how I can see exactly what bands are on/off and if my baseband firmware is out of date and/or broken - and if so - where I can get the latest version to try and fix it?
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I've just bought this phone and had no trouble installing LineageOS 20 (Nairo) on it. Everything works well, got all my apps installed and data moved over and now I've discovered that the WiFi Calling function doesn't appear to be working, which is a deal breaker for me. My office has terrible cell reception and I have been happily relying on WiFi calling on my Galaxy Note9 using the same SIM can carrier on Android 10 so I'm guessing it's either a phone issue and/or an OS issue.
To confirm:
1. WiFi is connected with signal strength reported by OS as "Excellent". This is the case for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
2. WiFi Calling is enabled
3. Calling Preference is "Calls over Wi-Fi"
Is there something I'm missing here? I actually had a call come in, the service was pretty crap and when it dropped out there was a pop-up that said something to the effect of "You should use Wifi Calling".
In case anyone looks at this later on for answers, I managed to resolve this with a reinstall of LineageOS. It did have a problem though in that after the reinstall, the phone could not create a data session with the mobile network (Vodafone Australia). I managed to fix that by moving the SIM card from SIM1 to SIM2. I then moved the SIM back to SIM1 and it's all working fine now. No idea what the problem was, but all running smoothly now.
