Hi all
Well i took the plunge and installed LineageOS on my I9300. It all went well or so i thought, I must have missed something as now TWRP just keeps saying i need to update and when i start it it gives me the choice to download the update from the web which i do but cant go any further than that, I have tried various ways to get it working but cant and of course im not rooted anymore so im stuck can any of you wonderful folk help me to sort this out ?
ok well managed to get twrp working but now i have a problem with my sim not being recognised so another cry for help
well back to stock and all is well only 4 days of faffing around to get back to where i started i may well try again at some point in the future but for know that'll do donkey that'll do

I haven't found any posts about the possibility for lineage OS being ported to Zenfone 3 laser
I think it would be possible since Asus recently released an unlock tool for the bootloader and the kernal

Here i am, just another fellow looking for AOSP, Lineage, CM... for Zenfone 3 Laser (ZC551KL). I was reading through these threads (links above) and couldn't find anything for this device... only talks about ZE520KL/ZE552KL, so i guess we still have to wait, eh?
Guys i try to help porting Lineage OS on our ZC551KL. I see that no one's responding in this thread anymore. Guys can you help me help this thread about porting Lineage OS?

In short... NO you cannot.
To install a Custom ROM requires a Custom Recovery and a Custom Recovery requires an unlocked Bootloader.

Okay... It looks/seems like you're new to this and I just want to help you regarding the "how, where and what" when it comes to posting an issue on either a new thread or within another thread. This helps others to understand you better and to help them provide you with some assistance.
Also, threads and posts with a lack of information does result in a type of discouragement for others to respond to you.
I'll now begin with what information you really should be providing regarding as listed below:
1) What your device is specifically.
2) What you had done specifically already.
3) What you're trying to do/trying to accomplish.
4) Where exactly are you stuck in. To be more specific, what it is your now attempting to do and the exact error message that your getting. If there are no error messages, then you need to state that as well.
Onward we go...
If you do have a Motorola G4 Plus, there's also a Device Specific area of the Forum where you should be able to locate what you need as well as where you should be posting your issues (this is because those members with your specific device are there and have better luck to receive support to).

Based on what you had provided and the results I've came up with, please let me know if the following information is correct so far.
Your Device is a "Motorola G4 Plus" and, after you had performed a procedure (possibly from a location outside of the XDA Forum), your trying to flash TWRP and are currently receiving "Error: failed to load kernel!".
If that is correct, so far, then I'd advise you to look at, search and post your issue within the following thread.
[GUIDE]Newbie Resource Thread[TWRP][ROOT][Restore to Stock] by yeshwanthvshenoy
From that thread, you should be able to progress to the next step.
Just an FYI, the following is the Official LineageOS thread for your device.

I'm not so sure as @Ibuprophen. Maybe there is a .IMG file somewhere that can be installed with fastboot. But this will be the same procedure as fastboot flash recovery with TWRP. So we should find a solution for that.
I was trying to build LineageOS for sm-j327p using the guide from the wiki, but I realize now that it is only for supported devices. I need help on how to build it. I already downloaded the source code, but I am not sure if I have to extract proprietary blobs, but even when I tried that, it didn't work because I didn't have a directory with the device specific files.

I have a samsung s7, I had some problems with it so I had to reinstall it via Odin. I downloaded a firmware called SM-G930f Three sweden. and since then the phone was locked to three sweden. is it even possible?? How and why?
I downloaded other software but the problem persists. Is there even a solution?
I could use any sim card before i installed the Wrong firmware

I'm trying to find a combination file for my galaxy s7 edge. I have come across many and am under the impression that as long as my firmware number matches except for the last 4 digits it should be compatible. The only issue is I can't find one close to my firmware number. Or I may have grossly misunderstood the document on how to read combo file names. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for the help. I've tried the combination file you've provided and it worked! However, I realized too late that the combination file was for an ATT phone and mine is a T-mobile. It upgraded my binaries to v5 and the only stocks for my phone are v4. Since I can't roll back binaries I suppose I will just wait and see if there is a v5 firmware released for my phone. Thank you again for the help and knowledge.
