i was thinking bout buying a outterbox impact from bestbuy.com or a platinum series case from bestbuy as well but my question is which one work better for the money. And is the outterbox impact cheap plastic or like that TPU material. Which one would you guys buy?
just so you know the platnium defender series can bu purchased for under $10 on various sites right now. check amazon.com for example. awesome deal. it comes with the internal platinum / innocase too so if you don't need all the protection you can slim it down.
the impact is silicone, rubbery, not like tpu.

cant beat the otterbox CS... ive called them a few times and they send replacements out real quick... on the otherhand I believe that the PT series is the same as seidio and I have not had to use their CS at all. I have the seidio on my evo now and its great
Anyone sporting the incipio case. I'm looking for the thinnest case I can find. I used to have a incipio feather on my old storm and it was really thin.

I got one off ebay for 99 cents plus 4 bucks shipping. Its nice but not like the incipio for Iphone or others where its really thin. Its thicker and it comes in 2 pieces slide in and out with a screen protector.
It might not be the thinnest but it's by no means bulky.. I use it everyday and there really isn't much added bulk to the phone and it doesn't add much weight either

Diztronic fits perfect.
SGP Capsule case its OK but lips don't grip right at the top this making it out of alignment. Useable by not perfect. I had the black so it was hardly noticeable without heavy inspection. If you bought a colored case it would probably stand out more.
I'm getting a Case Mate Barely There mailed. Supposedly won't work with the extended back plate. But some say it'll work nicely without a back plate. Will have to test and see which I like more.
Diztronic is a sure win. Feels great and not too bulky.

I have a $3 silicone skin coming from ebay. I'm hoping that given the small differences in thickness between the stock and extended battery backs and the stretchiness of the silicone, I'll be able to get the "case" on properly.
I also use the diztronic matte black one. Love it. Make sure you get revision 3.

I just got the Verizon 2100 extended battery with extended back cover and my Otterbox Defender still fits perfectly. It goes on just as well as it does with the original battery.

I have an Incipio Feather case that only sort of fits...I'm going to do a little sanding to the inside and see if I can get it to work. I will post results here...
I'm currently using the Seidio Active w/Kickstand and it fits perfectly. I used those eBay Hybrid S-Line TPU cases and they didn't fit without actually removing the battery cover.
I'm getting a Diztronic in the mail today and a Cruzer Liter tomorrow and those supposedly will fit with the extended back cover.

I have the otterbox commuter along with the 2100 extended battery, fits nice and snug like a glove. i love this case!

The sanding didn't work, but I might try cutting this case...at that point though with the "lightness" of the Feather, I'm not sure why I'd have a case...
I got the Samsung Galaxy nexus Spigen SGP brown leather pouch from Amazon UK and its a perfect fit.
The nexus is the same dimesions, except its 2mm less wide, this makes the one x have a really snug fit in the cases made for the nexus.

Brown and black leather available. Very very nice case, really slim, doesn't add much bulk, easily protect against scratches and bumps. Corners are strong to protect against stronger falls. Exit strap feels solid and has a nice magnet on it to stop the tag flapping about in your pocket.
10/10 as far as i am concerned.
The pouches are also available from the USA spigen website for 40 USD plus another 10 USD for international shipping.

Hey everyone.
I'm trying to find a case for my phone that doesn't obstruct the use of the buttons with other plastic. I got the otterbox commuter but the plastic that's used has changed since my last otterbox and it's now rigid and terrible. It makes it virtually impossible to press the buttons.
Anyone have a suggestion?
My Ballistic Case offers great protection and the buttons are fine. You don't have to use the display protector and I don't. I use a Zagg HD screen protector.

If you are just looking to protect against scratches, the OEM Samsung cases are the best I have found. Obviously don't provide protection from drops, but ultra thin and add some grip to the phone. DBA thin grip is the best case I've come across and it has huge cutouts for the buttons. Definitely worth checking out.

I agree! I use only Ballistic, I tried 4 other cases including OB and the buttons are way to stiff for my own liking. Ballistic with a Zagg HD I highly recommend.
