how to format memory card?

Hi all ,i am new in android world,i buy HTC DESIRE and i have v2.2.2 i think thats last version...i have problem to format memory card,there is no option privacy and can't use search option,any solution?thanks

you have an option to format (erase) your sd card (parameters > storage > erase sd card)

i don't have that option,i go to factory data reset but thats for phone,i this softwer version i don't see formar or erese memory card...this is my first android phone

My HTC ONE X Internal storage gor damaged while attempting to encrypt storage for Microsoft Exchage Security Request. Now it says in boot loader Cant Mount SD Card, Not Able to boot .
I used Viper rom this happened while encrypting from Viper rom. Please help me...

Recover my internal memory

i change my rom to androd 5 hd3.5
i never format my interal memory bot after install the ram my internal memory is empty
i can recover my filest with any software bot in mtp mod the cpmpiuter dont reconize phone
if i can change that too mass storage i would can recovery
please help me how can i do?

Thats issue. Now I understand
You cant do that. You have written new files above old ones and you cant, especially that is is on internal storage.
There could be some method to boot as UMS but I doubt you would recover anything.
Have you tried from recocery to boot as UMS?

yeah i want... why you say i cant recover any data? if the internal storage is mass storage the software detect it one hard or flash drive and can recover data... i think
please show me how can i do that? how can i have ums mode?

i old recovery we have one option .. mount sd cart... i remember that but in new recovery we have one option ( mount) and in that we have only MPT that mean we havent mass storage.. i want like old smart phon i have mass storage...

please answer me...
in wich recovery i can load mass storage? twmp recovery havent mount usb storage

anyone can help me,,I have problem to update my HTC desire 816 phone officially, I getting updates but unable to do cause of my internal phone storage mounted as read only mode errror.

HTC Desire 820 - mass storage data in fastboot

Hi!
I have a problem.
My HTC Desire 820 when boot he's go to bootloader with 'Security Warning'.
I have to recover (or copy) data from internal mass storage (not SD card) to PC and then I can make factory reset.
Is it possible to do from fastboot mode?
I care about my video/photos and I do not want to lose them.
Can U help me with problem.
