Real Time Voice Recognition not working?

I remember the cool videos of talking into the voice command and being able to see your voice to text in real time.
I'm rooted but besides that im still stock everything.
Voice to text is exact same as froyo and gingerbread on my nexus where it does the red circle and then the squiggly lines that are transcribing it..
which is cool.. but I want the instant voice recognition.
How do you get instant voice recognition to work?

I remember reading that it only works with stock keyboard so if you changed keyboards you might have problems.

I mean like as you speak, your words are are being shown on the screen.
Mine doesn't do that. It waits to transcribe everything and then tells me what I said.

in what application are u using it? in the stock sms app for example, with the stock keyboard it works fine without wait

Problem kind of solved.
I was only trying it on the top fixed Google Search bar..
That does NOT work. Pretty stupid hopefully fixed next update.
So it actually does work properly for me, just not for Google Search.

Have iOS like Notifications?

Is there a way I can see the notification I get while I am playing a game on my phone? Like if I get a text message while playing for example Temple Run I can quickly either go to the text message by pressing it or ignoring it. Anything like that and I am running Sense.

There is an app called: 'iphone notifications' in the play store

Thanks but now got a new problem/ I can't activate it because it says service isn't active in Accessibility even though its checked... Running Skyraider Zeus 1.3
EDIT: Reboot fixed the problem. But all I get is a banner that says I have one new message. Can I do something for it to write what the message is? Btw I am using Google Voice.

For stock sms I recommend sms pop-up in the market

I don't really want it to pop out like it did on iOS 4 but more like the banner in iOS 5.

No Facebook on blink feed

I'm hoping some one can help me, since the latest update I love blinkfeed.But it doesn't matter what I do I can't get Facebook to appear in it.I have it selected in BF topics and have it linked to my FB account.if I select highlights and refresh the feed appears but no FB appears,if I select just the FB feed it refreshes and then says no content to load ,twitter and instagram work fine

Mine problem is that i can not see the other ..like ..sports games music..etc on blinkfeed .

Anyone use BBM with Android N

There seems to be an issue. Can't receive pictures. Error writing file. I have tried enabling all permissions but no change.
Anyone else dealing with this?
Everything works fine on 6.0.1 but not on 7.0.0.
This my only real issue.
I reported to BlackBerry on DP5 even, but still no response or update.

LOL I guess not. Hangouts 99% of the time with regular SMS text (Within Hangouts) and Facebook Messenger the remaining 1%.

It's weird I still have over 50 contacts I use it with. Maybe because I am in Canada.
I don't have a single person on Hangouts.

I think Hangouts and BBM are definitely the minority compared to WhatsApp and FB Messenger.

Probably. Whatsapp has 5x the users of BBM but around me everyone uses BBM.
I have FB Messenger too and use it sometimes but in general I'm not a fan.

Well, finally made some progress. Sync.me found a few contacts, but I found most using manual add from FB accounts...lucky I did not have more than 50 contacts....
