I can get it, thank you for your so quick reply.
Then I wonder if I can roll back to 4.4.2? It is because I want to build a 4.4.2 pacerom using cm tree as a base rom to patch other roms like miui
Nice to see you here mate. Your rom on the OGP is excellent and I'm sure you will aim to please here as well
I did download and install an early *unannounced* build of this (before you had the thread up) and it was hard for me to pass the boot ani. I eventually booted in to safe mode and after that initial boot it worked great
*EDIT*
Flashed latest plus just now and it is flying. Would be awesome to have the device specific screen off gestures implemented. Only trouble so far is the AOSP keyboard force closes when swyping for me. Great work mate!
Hello, you can see some screenshots?
the rom is ready so how? does not need gapps? if so what is recommended MINI MODULAR PACKAGE ? thanks

Im going to make this simple for you; ALWAYS flash gapps mini modular with every rom you ever use (unless you're flashing colorOS). I understand you are very new to XDA and perhaps a language barrier is the cause of some of the confusion (while corresponding with you in other threads)
@uppon2: The keyboard FC when using gestures should have been fixed. This is the fix commit:
https://github.com/pacerom/packages...mmit/9ddfe26215f035da036c620e69688c6721407811
That will depend on jni_unbundled_latinimegoogle existing, of course. It's provided in gapps.
If you have the "official" build with the md5 in the OP and you have gapps installed, I'll re-flash and re-test just to make sure something weird isn't going on.
I was on CM and Gummy for a couple months and I really got addicted to the tap2sleep/tap2wake stuff. I will definitely be trying to put those in soon. The other gesture stuff (circle for camera, vee for torch) may or may not make it in, depending on the amount of change required.
As for gapps, I have been using the CM recommended 20140606 package (linked here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps) and it works well. Prior to last month I had been using the 20140105 package and it also worked well.
@Uanagana: Sorry no screen shots, just find a Nexus 5 screen shot and chop out the navbar.

I was reporting on the keyboard that is present in the rom. I had not flashed gapps at this stage so I'm assuming that will fix the problem.
I'm glad you're considering screen off gestures! Thank you

I definitely see some weirdness with duplicated ring tones. Which ones do you see?
This may or may not be an aosp issue. I'll need to investigate.

Hi, I find that you add a kernel boot parameter: androidboot.selinux=permissive
I want to know why you add this? Is there any compatible issue with selinux between cm and pace?

Changelog
Code:
6/8/17 - Monthly update. June security patches.
5/19/17 - Weekly update. Also added link to beanstalk github. This omission was an error and not intended to pass off someone else's work as my own.
5/13/17 - Weekly update. May be updating less frequently due to time constraints. Maybe monthlies when security updates are pushed.
5/4/17 - Weekly update. May Security Updates.
4/28/17 - Weekly update.
4/21/17 - Weekly update. Forget to mention that performance was actually fixed last week, but if you use this, you probably noticed that already.
4/16/17 - Updated to Android 7.1.2 and April security patches. Audio may also be fixed in this update.
4/14/17 - Weekly update.
4/6/17 - Weekly update.
4/1/17 - Weekly update.
3/23/17 - Weekly update. If you haven't noticed, this rom now includes magisk. This is an alternative to supersu so you don't need to flash any other root options. Go into the magisk app and turn root access on. Turn on magisk hide if you want to be able to install super mario run. nintendo isn't interested in taking money from rooted users it seems.
3/17/17 - Weekly update.
3/8/17 - Early weekly update! Includes rootless substratum and March 5 security updates.
3/4/17 - Weekly update. Thanks to @surdu_petru for his latest work on this device. I like the new swipe on nav bar for one handed mode. Check settings -> Navigation -> Smartbar Settings -> Toggle one handed mode.
2/17/17 - Weekly update.
2/11/17 - Weekly update.
2/4/17 - Weekly update.
1/28/17 - Weekly update.
1/22/17 - Weekly update.
1/15/17 - Brought in line with @surdo_petru's latest updates. GPS now working. This may require a clean install. GPS did not work for me dirty flashing. So if you dirty flash and complain that GPS isn't working, I will not respond. Clean install if it doesn't work.
1/9/17 - Working fingerprint scanner. Thanks to @crpalmer 's work on the Honor 5X.
1/5/17 - Updated with January security patches.
1/3/17 - Weekly Update
12/29/16 - Initial Release

fwiw, i like this rom. it has the pixel navbar and substratum support. the pixel substratum theme and the pixel boot animation will really bling this thing out.....you know, if you want it to look like a pixel. if slim ever supports substratum i'll be back on that as my personal DD in flash though.
This is basically a improved Slim ROM with substratum support? I've never heard of Beanstalk ROMS.
But thanks for compiling this one for us, it's good to see some support for our device!
Props to surdu, without him none of this would be possible

I'm using it right now, flashed it last night. It's pretty cool. It has some nifty features like substratum support (no other theme engine for 7.1.1), but it kinda force closes some apps. I think CM14 does this too. Thank you very much for your continued work!

The method you mentioned works flawlessly, the only setback is that you're going to have your phone on English language.

Sounds like whatever you used to edit the build prop didn't have root access. In that case changes won't be saved. You can also try the get assistant app on the play store. Twrp backup first, I've had it not work and throw my phone into a boot loop.

Works Nice. Everything there except for me:
1/ system animation
2/ in aosp keyboard, there is no side arrow to move left or right on letters.
Otherwise, awesome. Seems smooth and fine.[emoji106]

I like this idea...a barebones rom sound awesome....the one I currently use seems to be the lightest footprint but COSP sounds promising.
I vote for it to have the fixes needed for F droid functionality but will need a separate package to flash....therefore the people who want Google won't have to uninstall any apps which will keep the rom light.

This looks very promising, I'm certainly intrigued and keeping an eye on this thread ?.

Nope, but you can install GCam from the Play Store/as apk and it works
So this rom is like strictly stock that we can still receive updates from Google, correct?
If so would it possible to add clock/date options ? TIA
Is there an option to install Yalp Store as a system app?
Now THIS right here is a ROM i can get behind if they keep it AOSP-Barebones ROM with option maybe sideload zip you can install for more options. I want to go Google free when MicroG gets better. Keep up the Good work will be monitoring this Rom, new daily driver.

Barebones with sidoadable zips would be real cool. I don't know to what extent things can be done this way, but even things like privacy guard so people have a choice. That'd be so cool. A flashable zip that contains privacy guard. Really though don't think that's a possibility.
Just posting this cause it's something that's always been on my mind. It's way above my pay grade and maybe just a pipe dream anyway...
I've often thought it would be cool to have a minimal Rom installable with either a PC based script or aroma.
It would let you pick the features then install. Lol

No. Custom ROMs are just that. Custom.
Google monthly updates only work for stock. You need to wait until the dev merges updates from Google into their code.
hey, this is the best ROM I've seen around here since I want to get rid of Google
I've only been testing for a day, but here are some questions and bug reports
- I can't use the Phone app to call anyone (using Virgin Mobile network)
- Netflix won't play UHD content
If I flash another kernel, would it be ok? I'm thinking of trying the Elemental X
otherwise, only good things, keep it up
There's gonna be an update this week! Some new exciting changes included!
Glad this ROM has signature spoofing. Now if only I could get Snapchat to work
Flashed this with simple gapps and it's running great. Nice work. :good:
