I switched between kingroot to supersu by this method:https://missingtricks.net/replace-kingroot-kinguser-with-supersu-superuser-android-guide/ (the method with the terminal)
then updated su binary from the app and it didn't worked
so I tried from the recovery.
Then this happened....
and even that I know It won't help (I changed the boot animation before it. though it didn't had a problem when I tried to boot before...)
NOTE: I have the first version of the device!
It will be a pleasure to get help from you!
Im still wating but I don't see any help here....
I just see help in other theards...
If you can help then do it!
I can't stay without a phone for months! people are searching me!

Hey guys! Talking about luck ain't my thing..
I installed the last update of ErickWill's JB.. Said it was mandatory to have a touch recovery, so I installed the sk8er's last version of recovery as well!
BUT, last version of sk8er's recovery's gone wrong, and everytime I want to boot in Recovery, it says "Charging.." and nothing else.
As you prolly figured out, the install of ErickWill didn't succeed either..... I don't know for what reason xD...
Now I have a bootloop on ErickWill's boot animation, and no working recovery........... Tried to detect phone via Odin. Nothing that way either.
Any genius out there who could help me out with that?!
Thanks guys!!
Alex
Got it! Closed.. Thanks guys for the PM!
Only had to go into Download Mode
CLOSED! ^_^
Hey guys, I'm new to XDA, so I hope I'm not being a noob . Just today I rooted my note 2 (international version) with Odin. After that I did the following: installed adaway, installed triangle away (and reset my counter), installed rom toolbox lite and through that changed the system font, after it asked me to reboot to finalize it and my phone hasn't turned on since. I had rebooted multiple times between rooting and changing the font, so I don't think the problem in with triangle away or adaway (but I can't be sure). My phone is just stuck on the pulsing samsung logo. What I have tried so far: redoing the root process through odin, taking out battery and restarting, trying to reset through the recovery menu and wiping cache.
Is it possible that my phone is in brick? Any suggestion? I'm hoping the fact that I can access the recovery menu is a good sign!
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks so much!
It's not bricked since you can still get to recovery and download modes!
I tried looking around on the net a little and there are some reports of bootloops after using Rom Toolbox to change the font, so that might be the problem here.
I would just re-stock and re-root with Odin and not use Rom Toolbox to change the font.
Hey all,
First of all, I'm not that well known with this stuff like ROMs etc, so please don't complain if I don't understand a part/your whole solution / help, furthermore, English isn't my native language, so sorry if any grammatical mistakes.
My prob:
A long time ago I managed, as a total noob as I didn't knew what I was doing, to get my phone stuck at the HTC One screen, which shows when starting your phone up.
I somehow fixed it, and since then I had the ROM SuPrimo v23.0
Lately, I experienced a lot of battery problems with my phone, so I tried, with a bit more knowledge about all this, to solve this problem by flashing another ROM.
After I did that it got stuck at the ''This build is for development purposes... etc.'' screen. I tried a lot of ROMs and eventually I came through this screen, but now it gets stuck at the next screen.
Please, help!
R: [Q] HTC keeps getting stuck
Did you flash the kernel ??
Hm, my brother came over for the weekend but I didn't knew. He managed to fix it, luckily. Still thanks for trying to help.

Anyway when you flash a rom you will always have to flash kernel otherwise it won't boot.
maybe try...

I had an issue like this. I still use this method to this day because i have s-on. I extract the rom and put the boot.img from the rom i want to flash into my fastboot folder, flash the boot. then flash the rom through twrp recovery. I know tons of other methods but all return with remote failed w/e rubbish. fastboot is your friend at this point with the one v cdma. At least until the devs crack that sucker. hope that helps someone out there, I sure could have used that info for about 5 hours.
Hi all,
I did some things with my phone this afternoon, but now when I try to boot it into recovery mode, it just boots into android.
The problem is, it won't boot into android either. It keeps showing the boot animation..
The recovery I use(d): CWM 5 by MoltenMotherboard
The ROM I use(d): Maclaw AOSP ICS Final 2
What do I have to do? I can still enter downloadmode so it's not hardbricked or something, but I have no idea what to do now.
Can I just flash the stock firmware with Odin?
The recovery I use is ext4 only, so that'd mean that when I'm back at the stock rom I can't use the recovery, right?
Update: At the moment I'm trying to flash this rfs+ext4 recovery via Odin, but it's already at 10 minutes and still no "Finish" message or something.. :/
Update 2: Flashed the stock rom via Odin, but now after it shows the blue glowing Samsung logo, it reboots and does it all over again.. It won't go into recovery either.. Please, can anyone help me!?
Update 3: Finally, after a pretty long time I finally got my phone working again.. I was so stupid to use the wrong combination to open the recovery (I used the CWM combination..) Thanks for "all your help" XD

Hehe, sorry for posting too quickly, but I haven't had any problems like this before so I was a bit scared and things like that
Hello all,
I'm making this thread because i have an issue with my Recovery. Long story short:
I've successfully rooted my LG G3 D855. I've SU and rootacces. After this point i've used TWRP Manager to install TWRP. The application gave me a green sign that it installed successfully.
The problem at the moment is when i try to boot into recovery i can see this message: Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify.
After that the screen goes black and i can see a green and red LED flashing. The strange part is that i can still load in to download mode and i can use the phone normally.
I found a post by using google that use OneClick_Root_recovery but i'm not sure if i am safely use this since it will root the phone first(This has already been done).
I've also tried ImagePrePGUIv2.5 and chose the twrp only option. Sadly i still have the same problem.
Is there someone on XDA that have had this issue or someone that can help me resolve the problem?
Thank you for reading my post.
Have a nice day,
Thomas

which bootloader do you have?( on whick version did you root you phone 20x or 10x)
if you did it on 20x you need to flash the kitkat bootloader(there is a thread for that somewhere in lg g3 general )

Here is your answer
Pick your model and download AutoRec
Since you are just Rooting now i am assuming you are on Lollipop so this is perfect for you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/apk-flash-twrp-autorec-thanks-to-t3081396
I want to thank you both because it's working !
This might be a newbie question but i'm a safe to install a rom now?
The reason i'm asking this question is because i totally forgot the bootloader when i started rooting and i'm wondering if i forgot something .

Ahhh great to hear! I was thinking about installing the current rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/development-d855-resurrection-remix-5-0-t2968533.
Do you maybe have a suggestion for a different rom or is this a really good rom?
Thanks again!
