Hi, i have an huge problem.
i can't upgrade any firmware through the dload method.
I always see the error: Version list verify fail.
I tried starting from the b102,b226,b229 and everytime i have the same problem. My splashscreen ( oemlogo ) is deleted and now i see a white image, not the huawei logo.
I can't upgrade with the official method and i can't use the intermediate pack, i see the same version list verify fail ! HELP !
Your ascend p1 is oem locked like mine (tim) and you can't upgrade through official firmwares because of it.
Now there's no way to debrand it but you can install cwm recovery and flash the firmware you want downloading one of these zips :

on my last travel in China I bought a Huawei Ascend P6. I think that Android on it, is Chinese version, because it's not possible to synchronize contacts with my google account . Is it possibile to install standard (better if italian) Android version?

1. Unpack the .zip
2. Copy the dload Folder on your extl. SD-Card
3. Turn Off your P6
4. Use POWER + VOL UP + VOL DOWN
5. The P6 will automaticly do a force update and patch the new Version.

Unfortunately when, in the force update menu, I go on "Install from SD card -> /dload" it can't find any file in the /dload folder and thus I cannot install the Android update. This happens for both versions you advised. I tried also to update in normal mode (Settings -> System update) but an error occurs (in Chinese of course). Do you have some more advice for Android update?

I had the same problem with Google contacts, solved it by downloading contactssyncadapter.apk (you can find it using Google) which is missing in Chinese firmwares. Just install it and you're done.
As for the installing B512 part, have you extracted the dload folder in the zip file into the root directory of your SD card? If you did, then I can't be of any more help. I've been trying to move from B508 (Chinese) to B512 for 2 weeks and I haven't been able to do it.

Hello all i have the same problem... i bought my ascend P6 from china and has the Chinese version , i make the official updates from Huawei updater to the version 4.4.2 and emotion UI 2.0 and some software or the writing language are in Chinese..
How can i change it to EU version?

I was finally able to install B512 after following the steps showed in this post. Try it, it's the same coming from B508 to B512, just download B512 instead. Those chinese apps won't be there anyome and you'll have working Google Play and all syncing options.

I have Huawei Ascend Mate MT1-U06 with Android 4.1 B221 and I decide to try Android 4.4 firmware B321. But it's recommended to install first B930 firmware. And actually my problem is really stupid, because I can't extract B930, but with B321 no problem to extract it. And I try on 3 laptops with Windows and Linux, which means the problem is not from me. Why I have this problem and is it have some another place from where I can download firmware B930.

press the + and - keys and power button, the phone will go into download mode and attempt to catella dload to flash the software. but first you have to download the software for the honor 4c g or play. I'm sorry for the translation, I'm Italian, possessor of a huawei g mini play.
I have a Huawei Ascend Y330 U11. I have rooted my phone using Kingroot app. My device works on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. And it has Emotion UI 2.0 . I actually rooted it on the pretext of flashing a custom ROM. Then after rooting I found out that there was no Custom ROM for this model and I couldn't even find a custom recovery (CWM/TWRP) for this device.
Then I heard of Xposed Framework and decided to try it out. But after installing the installer, when u try to install, it tells me that it can't copy app_process to system/bin as it already exists. And yes, I saw that it already exists in the folder. And since I don't have a custom recovery, I can't even try flashing it on recovery. And I badly want to use Xposed. Please help.
