Instead of Tugabrowser, you could use SWE browser, which is straight from the source. Helps gel with the open source nature of the ROM.

Yes, of course. I love browsing incognito at startup of tugabrowser and startpage search engine.
But even what you say is true

Hello, thank you rabside! :highfive:
It's really simple, you have to install microG service core from here: https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/releases/latest
For geolocation, you can follow this guide: https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_UnifiedNlp
For play store replacement, I advice Yalp Store
For cast, I advice BubbleUpnp because the cast api with microG doesn't work
Next, open microG settings, go to "Self-Check" and check if it's all ok!
For any problem we are here

Depending what gapps you use it can give you problems Connecting to the Camera, I've noticed this in various gapps.
There is a thread where you can download the original OPO Camera app. You that one
Which gapps package in particular are you using? When I had my Nexus 5, I always used the Google Stock Package, but that one doesn't work on the One (or at least it didn't when I tried it).

That seems to be the reason. The stock package probably doesn't have the libs required to make the camera work.
I wish I knew how to modify the gapps packages to include what I want. It looks like Greek to me.
Anyway, I'll just install the Full Modular and go from there. Thanks.

You can install stock package, but you have to follow the point 1 on this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44417558
nightlies broke it seems
For those of you having camera issues, go to /system/addons.d and remove the Google Camera script. Reflash your ROM. This gets rid of those pesky libraries added from the PA Gapps for the camera.
You're free to install Google Camera now from the Play store. Its those libs that break everything, so you have to remove that script.

Its more like Stock adds some libs that mess up the camera. The camera works fine if you install from the Play Store, but if you flash it from PA Gapps, those libs break things.
Personally, I use Full Modular + install camera from play store.

I don't think so. Clean wipe would be the best way to to.
Whenever I record with the built in screencast app from CM11S upon switching to landscape mode the video dimensions shrink like crazy. Does anyone else experience this or know of a way to change starting orientation when using screencast? I don't really want to use the paid screen recorder app from the app store that uses root permissions to achieve the same thing screencast does.
Edit: I had to make nova launcher landscape mode before recording.
Latest Nightly 08.08 immediately reboots everytime I start my phone.
I'm using the snapshot m9 I flashed lock screen and screencast from the themes and apps section and just installed the camera next app normally. I'm having the best battery life and the most stable experience I've had on this phone yet.

Sick!
Thank you very much!
Great news! Thanks
I just migrated from Omni to this first build of official LOS. Thanks a bunch for the effort.
I'm having trouble getting Gcam (Arnova8G2 v1) to work. Flashed Camera2 api Magisk module and portrait mode works but the main camera is just black/blank. Is that a known problem on LOS?
Manually did enable api via build prop editor and reboot
Sendt fra min Mi MIX 2 med Tapatalk
Great news, many thanks! I will try it as soon as my new phone arrives
Nice! Thank you very much.
Thank you!
PS. for stupid ppl like me: if you get the "Google services framework has stopped" after installation do the following:
1) Format data
2) Go to Advanced wipe, select everything and wipe it.
3) install ROM (only rom)
4) reboot into recovery
5) Go to Advanced wipe, select everything and wipe it.
6) Install ROM + Gapps and other stuff if needed.
After this is should work.
This is the problem of other roms not supporting proper Encryption and this one does.

I tested it for almost two days, I think. Frankly, I prefer the other LOS15.1 out there. To me, this one was more laggy, but I don't know if it will be the same to you. Only the two LOS rom made LTE work for me and the only bug I found in both was frontal flash. Still, I think both are great, but I stick to the other one

I used the OpenGAPPS from test folder I linked in the OP. Bit... might work, but no guarantee. Just try them and report back, so maybe other users can learn from your experiences.
Note: Updated my main phone from AOSiP Pie to Ten and had some wierd issues. Factory resetted in TWRP and now everything working. So making a backup and factory reset before updating is recommended
When viperos q?
Thanks you , I see your sources is stable thanks for upgrade aosip

Only two things i've discovered, there is no clock app (i installed Gapps pico maybe that the problem) and AOSiP Updater seems not working.
Can someone give me a clock/ alarm app - opensource ? (App of Tibor Kaputa doesn't work)

Fingeprint swipe doesn't work
opal06, kudos for signature spoofing built-in, I can use microG.

As for the missing clock, I did not notice it during testing, but you are obviously right. For a stock feeling you can download the Clock app by Google, but there are many other good alternatives.
AOSiP updater is not working because I did not update the OTA file. AOSiP ten is still beta from ROM source side, so I won't enable OTA until it's official from their side.

As base any pie base should work, but latest is best.

Have you enabled fingerprint swipe in Settings --> System --> Gestures? For me it works fine

Probably, just try and report. If something goes wrong, go to TWRP and flash ROM again without wiping data. You won't loose any settings or data.
Plis build with nitrogen kernel
test

Yes, it's enabled. It doesn't disturb me, maybe i've to make a fresh install and take another version base.
Yesterday i had an issue, i couldn't download from play store until i deactivated and reactivated the app. Also i couldn't install apk's downloaded manualy from website.
Maybe it's a unique incident

I had a similar issue trying to install apps with Amaze file manager. I had no problem installing apps with the built-in file manager and also with F file manager from f-droid, in my case it was obviously an incompatibility of Amaze with 10. I'm on 10.0.9 base btw. Also I was able to delete system apps with Amaze and magisk 19.3 but not with 20.1. And I can't uninstall Whatsapp no matter what, the installer just quits so I must do it with adb uninstall.

That's normal behavior for magisk 20.1 because the system mount point had been changed from /system to / so most root using apps don't know how to use it. Besides that you can use the system debloater magisk module and that should work just fine.

I just did some reading on this, you are right
Flashing Nitrogen R2 kernel results in bootloop with this rom. R1 works fine. Any fix?
good job
I'm using your rom for 1-2 days now Looks like every features work really well to me. I'l report back later if I see anything. Thanks OP
