Hi I'm new on this forum. My m9 suddenly went off and rebooted while battery was on charge. I tried turning it off and restarting, but it would just display the htc logo and restart severally till battery runs down. I cannot access the flush mode screen. The only screen i can access is the recovery option screen with the white background. Any help with fixing my phone plssssssss. Thanks

Unfortunately i think your phone is dead. Probably another nand failure. Htc or a repair shop is your only way.

Hey all,
My friend dropped his P3300 some days ago and it started behaving wierdly. It was freezing when it ran TOMTOM and some times froze at the HTC screen during a soft reset.
After a few days , it froze completely at the HTC screen and never came back on again. Not even the charging indicator LED works.
Any ideas and recommendations?
Does it enter Bootloader mode atleast? If yes, then try flashing a new ROM..
Regards,
Carty..
Thanx Carty.
the boot loader comes on and off... it switches off when the outer case moves.. So I guess we have to send it for a repair.
My desire had Remix HD rom flashed on it. One day suddenly it shuts off and wont get past the HTC screen. I flash it again with complete wipe and it works fine again. the a few days later the same thing happened
then I flashed it with a stock RUU and it got updated to hboot .93
Now after somedays same thing happens but this time it won't even boot and no response to charging or anything.
Gave to the service center they said if they change a part it makes it boot but it won't go past the HTC screen and as its not from India (its an orange branded desire) so we can't help sorry. If i get the part changed its no guarantee that i can make it work again and it cost 8500 INR .
Now i get back home connect it to my laptop and it responds to the charging! the light turns on but the screen is still blank. i turn it on and it vibrates but screen is blank tried back+power still black screen
Now is there anyway i can recover the device? is it possible that they (the HTC service center people) forgot to connect the lcd back or something?
Send it back?
Hey,
Last Week my HTC died. It turns off and won't start anymore.
No light, nothing.
Battery is at 30% as it shut down.
Power + vol up / down doesn't work. No recovery mode..
In the Device Manager i found the HTC, named "QHSUSB_DLOAD"
Is it Bricked?
I found this Thread but it's for the M7, not M8 :

Many Thanks,

Edit: My Englisch is not very well, I'm from Germany
I am not HTC Expert, but from what i know, it maybe got motherboard failure, maybe u should go and get replacement. If u got no root, and it randomly went off and not get on back again, it's for sure then a hardware failure, it mostly is caused from the motherboard. Also, your screen might be damaged too, the cable that is connected to a port to light up screen, maybe something there popped off, so ur screen went full black? also, try to take battery off, and back on again and start the device like u normally do, and find a way to get your phone make sound or vibrate, im sure there is a way, if it doesnt work, it's for sure from what i know, hardware failure.
Anyone would say same i guess, good luck.
Yesterday night while I was using my HTC DESIRE 820 my phone suddenly switched off and it turned on by itself only after about an hour...
I plugged it ito charge before I went to sleep and woke up to find my screen completely blank but he LED notification light still shows green( which means its charged 100%) even after I removed it from the plug point...I left the phone like that and returned in the evening to find the phone still in the same condition!
Im panicking! Should I take my phone to the service center immediately????
uhh... YES.
Wonder if..
Hi, just wondering if you were helped by this Problem? I have an HTC ALCATEL A564C, I was working on it's OS, did not touched it for a month, just now I tried turning it on and even hardreset button's its on but black screen, last time I could go to twrp menu.. Can anyone help me please.
So I'm pretty sure my phone is fried. Just wanted to double check with anyone before sending it in.
I was driving and streaming music to my car when it stopped, and I noticed my screen wasn't responding. Swapping the battery only showed me the LG splash screen before restarting, showing the splash screen, then shutting the screen off and not responding. No length of time will let it boot.
I have everything on my SD card so no worries, I tried wiping from recovery. TWRP booted, froze, screen shut off and the phone was again, unresponsive.
Last resort, restoring with the KDZ. I got it into download mode, waited to see if the screen shut off again, and went ahead with flashing after I saw it was ok. It finished up and rebooted, and once again all I saw was the LG splash screen. I got to the "Android is upgrading" screen at one point, and it froze and shut off the screen again. It was, again, unresponsive.
tl;dr
Phone crashes, even after KDZ flash and master reset. Is there any hope I can fix it? I have a backup phone in the meantime but it's so horrible, I miss my G4!
Thanks for reading.
Better send it. Got crazy bootloops myself.
At the end even couldn't charge it. After i got it back i asked what was broken, they told me that it was unable to repair mainboard and usb port and they put new.So my advice let it fly to the repair shop.
