Bugs:
- same as Los13 idol3 build ( no proximity on callui, no usb tether, ... )
- no wizzard setup on 1st boot
Recommended gapps: open-gapps 6.0.1 arm64 pico
How to flash:
- on TWRP, do a wipe data/cache (if you was on Los13, do only a wipe cache)

- reboot to twrp and flash gapps, then reboot

It is mentionned: same bugs as Los13
Is this going to be a fork, or are you dropping los? Also, feature wise, does this offer more than what lineage has?

It has a lot more customization than default lineageos, didn't tested the performance of battery still tho

I allways try to find a way to solve bugs. If bugs are solved on Lineage, it's solved on all variants like RR.
Some pictures of RR, heck it has a really ****ing ton of options, i just took like 50% of the real customization
anyways it shows device unkown on Info, welp it may be since i have the 6045B, anyways it will edit with build.prop later
by the way, the oc gpu kernel works here too, i wish we had oc cpu tho
Resurrection.. This build is tempting me...
This rom gives really good performance, but there are a few big bugs :
1. Battery life isn't good at all.
2. Problems with boot, it need few minutes to boot, when I flashed Gapps and restarted it stuck at "starting apps", then I did factory reset and it has been booted then I go to restart and it only shut down the phone..Strange problems with restarting and booting.
I can't keep this rom on my phone because of these two problems, anyway it gives really good performance and speed.

I agree with those 2 points, the 2nd bug is really annoying, the fix is restart the phone until boots, but it can happen like in 1 try or in 5+ tries
And it seems something don't let the phone to go into deep sleep, so the battery drain is really noticeable
Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
If it wasn't for the battery drain I would install this. Since my phone is my daily driver I'll have to pass for now.
I decided to give it a try. This ROM is awesome!! However I can't seem to get SuperSU installed without it boot looping. Can anyone help? I tried Magisk and it boot looped too.

Just power off phone if stucked and try again to boot (2 or 3 times) . I install superSU, GAPPS , programs everything is work. Performance is good for now , no lag!

I've had no abnormal issues with superSU causing a bootloop while playing around with the different roms. There have, however been times where it's looped around 6 or so times after the install. I'd just recommend trying to install all of your zips one boot at a time clearing the cache between. When I do it this way, my system logo will loop two or three times after superSU, and loops boot animation maybe once.
Maybe I'm just too impatient lol

What happens is it will go through the optimizing apps stage, then say starting apps, then soft reboots.

yeah, this will happen in any case, with no apps, with a lot of apps, etc
it is pretty annoying but if you are a patient person you are good
in my case i used Magisk, but it should't have problems with supersu

i use Magisk for systemless root, since it has Magisk Hide included, it is pretty easy to use, and i use it because i Play Pokemon Go and Fire Emblem Heroes
it works too for Android Pay for example
SuperSu is the classic, but if you want to use the systemless one and bypass the safety net check, you need to use an app that i forgot the name and it is pretty buggy

Hi, beginner here.
I just rooted my phone and installed Andromadus Mimicry v1.5.0 on my phone. Everything seemed to go great except:
1. When I tried to install google apps it said the zip was bad and would not install it (using clockwork)
2. I tried rebooting the phone and now it is just displaying some type of screen saver that I have never seen before. Looks like multi colored cards or shapes sort of flipping, changing color and disappearing over and over. It is not doing anything else.
Any ideas? Should I reboot again?
Thx
Edit - I fixed issue 1 by rebooting back into recovery and trying to install google apps again and this time it worked. Still having issue #2 though.

Cold booting on mine takes no more than a couple of minutes. Even if I wipe cache it gets through boot animation pretty quickly. You might want to redownload rom, doublecheck hash and reflash it.

Twice it has taken at least 10 minutes. The first time I booted after flashing the new rom and the second time my phone just reboot on its own. Normally just a minute or two.
I'm very, very tired of flashing ROMs and finding that the only that deep sleeps well is the stock one (and I dislike it), is there any other deep sleeping ROM that you know about (and have tried yourself)? Please refrain from posting replies if you don't even know how to monitor the CPU states to know if the ROM sleeps well or not.
Thanks in advance for the help!!

Ok, PAC is not to my taste but I'll give it a shot if it deep sleeps, personally that guide is just a step by step for dummies on how to avoid doing mistakes on flashing and installing junk that may prevent the phone from deep sleeping, and, it is completely FALSE that every ROM will deep sleep after following it, but thanks for the reference anyway!, it might help others seeing this post.
Anyone else with other ROMs that are proven to deep sleep?

Immediately wipe google play services ,playstore, and google frame work...boot back into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache .. Boot back up and set phone up .. I guarantee you will have deep sleep.... If deepsleeps stops after first charge then wipe google services and caches and it will come back ..... I would say u don't do that rather u lock in stable OOS it will be better not to take risk.
Better to be unlocked if you take a bad OTA you can fix if locked your phone is dead
there is a good bulletproof unbrick method for the op3 using some qualcomm drivers magic, so however badly you mess up with your bootloader locked, there is always a solution... i'd say go ahead and tell us how it went and if safetynet api suspects anything

well, this was quick! what happened when i locked the bootloader via
Code:
fastboot oem lock
is, it went into an infinite bootloop, always flashing the op logo and then restarting etc. so when i booted fastboot via power+volume up, and did the usual
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
, it told me it would wipe the data, i chose yes and then it just normally booted exactly as before. it left my encryption, all the data, apps, photos etc. intact.
so while you can't lock the bootloader successfully, it is definetly safe to try

I'm not getting far on the 1/14/2017 build of 14.1.
It boots up.
Gives this error which I've seen before and aren't worried about:
"There's an internal problem with your devices"
Then it quickly picks up and connects to my WiFi.
Then quickly enables my Data.
But then drops me into this screen:
"On your other device, open the Google app".
"1) Say Ok Google, set up my device"
"2) Touch Pixel XL on the list, and follow the on-screen instructions"
And I can't get past this.
I think it wants me to restore stuff from my other phone but I can't figure out how to get past this section.
So I can't get to Settings or desktop or anything else.

I was able to get the 13 build running. i am trying the same on the 14 build to see if itll work on that one as well
Got the 14 build up and running. Seems pretty snappy. Gonna play around a bit to see how it is overall.
Edit:
Seems to be running well. Currently restoring apps. Has cm camera and apps loaded but can get all google apps back including pixel launcher.Pretty well polished as far as i can tell
@CZ Eddie, the "internal problem with your device" is due to an out of date vendor IMG usually. You can reflash the latest vendor.img from the factory IMG to get rid of this message.
Yeah, I knew it was something like that.
But it wanted Q instead of V.
And flashing that didn't resolve my issue where it's stuck at trying to restore from some other device (or whatever that prompt is).
I tried flashing the Q bootloader too and still got stuck.

Did you flash TWRP immediately after flashing the ROM?
I did.
Trying something else now and noticed that I somehow now have CM Recovery.
I stared at it for a minute wondering how Clockwork Recovery got installed on my phone till I realized what it actually was. :silly:

Hah, yeah skipping WiFi setup got me past that restore from other device thing.
I'm logged in now and checking it out.
There are several custom options hidden throughout the menus. Not all packed into one section like AOSP ROM's.
I can't find an option to remove the brightness slider though, I really like that option and would miss it.

Where are these builds located? Lineage isn't doing official builds yet.

Also curious where these builds are. I tried googling it and nothing came up
Post #4 tells you where to find it.

It wants the "Q" vendor image.
Its really smooth and has built in root...only thing I don't like is lack of pixel home button animation and it don't allow unlimited backup but I'm sure those features will become available in the near future (or I hope they will)
Great job with the ROM invisiblek!
Hello XDA,i tried to root my galaxy S9(Exynos) and i think i f***ed up.
I used a site i fount and seemed ok and now after all i done my phone behaves slow, restarts itself,on short,i dont know exactly what i did wrong, but i know i did wrong, and i want to fix it.

managed to make root work but a problem appeared:unable to use samsung account, unable to use any other type of lock screen type except swipe, andafter i instaled youtube vanced using magisk repozitory the phone entered again in the lock screen loop.i think its something about the kernel i used(elementalX 2.08) or the no verity version using 1.0.
I will look trough the forum for other versions and i will try to flash them.i will also try to flash a new rom, maybe thats the problem.

The ROM is probably the problem for you. Because now knox is tripped for you many samsung and other services dont work anymore for you on pure vanilla stock. If you like oneUI maybe try out a few roms, they are better than stock. There is also a growing AOSP ROM community, there is a group on telegram you should check out.

WOW!Thats bad.Have you tried the power+power down combo for shutting it down?a thing i can suggest better is to let it drain completly, and try to boot it in twrp,do a wipe and then try again.

none of the issues detailed in this thread make any sense. If a g965f is bootlooping after an attempt at rooting it, whatever was done in that attempt obviously failed and nothing in this thread really explains why, which mostly seems to be due to the lack of info from the OP and who all has participated thus far. We have no idea what baseband the OP is on, what version of TWRP they used, what version of Odin. We are lucky to know its a 965f so far...

a great deal of the devs that make the android community great all hang out here and share their contributions first on here, but you will find that certain phones on this site get far more attention than others, and the S9 area is a sad sad shell of what xda used to be. The reason im replying to your post at all is because xda is not the only place one can go to get good info on phones, but it is a reasonable place to put your trust if youre unfamiliar with the myriad of other sites specifically devoted to android and the users that avoid XDA for one reason or another. Try talking about any pay services on here or anything to do with "software of the illegitimate variety"
