Dear all,
I am trying to bring to life an old WM2003SE pocket pc by flashing it. However, I am unable to bypass the "version error" warning. Please have a look at the attached image from a hex editor locating the "version error" text. I would be grateful if someone can tell me how to bypass this warning by editing the bootloader file eboot.nb0 (attached).
Cheers,
Jay
PS: let me know if more info is required.

how can solved it? please tell me how to solve problem.
I tried to flash a D850 with lg flashtool and it gave me a " partition change error ", so i've put the dll that doesnt verifie the version , the device start flashing but then it turned off and became a hardbrick.
So, i tried to unbrick it with BoardDiag and got the error "No response from the device. Check PMIC first and if still boot problem, replace AP" when i repeat i get "device was not found in dload trying flash programmer"
i get it that the BoardDiag doesnt do the AP msm8975ac , so if you could help it would be great
P.S. when i use androidbrick_G3_fix.exe , and choose D850 i get Hello requst error , but when i choose D851 i passes and no error found but cant repair because device log out and in after scan is over , so does that mean i have a D851 ??? coz it is written D850 in the back of the phone
i really need ur help
I succesfully rooted MM but I cannot get rid of the "Your device has failed verification and may not work propperly" warning screen when booting, is there a .img file I missed flashing?
Another reason not to install MM !
As it said in the rooting guide you used, it will do that. And just ignore. Its the price we pay to be early adopters.
When you modify some system files in stock MM like rooting or unlocking, that warning message will appear each time you boot your phone. It's normal, just ignore it
Its nothing to worry about, it's the new bootloader's security warning feature. didn't you vist http://g.co/abh its self explanatory if you changed the system software yourself, then you have nothing to worry about.
is there any way to remove this advertising ?
It seems this is the only message I found across google search for my device Asus Zoom ZX551ML.
Just installed a modified ROM and getting the same message.
Device verification failed on boot.. Everything is stable and working fine.
Hey
I want to run QPST and my phone is detected in the COM in device manager (also at the top of device manager).
But when i add the port in QPST it detects 'No phone' but i can still add the port.
Making a backup etc in QPST doesn't work because of this.
Anyone with more knowledge who knows what i have to do?
I installed the universal LG drivers en did the commands (adb shell, su and setprop sys.usb.config diag, adb).
Thanks in advance!
The 3 images are screenshots of the windows.
Update
I got to the part were you can enter your IMEI but the phone couldn't write the IMEI.
THere was a long eroor message and this was part of it: 'reason other than nvm was full'

Hey guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but even for legitimate purposes, people really hate when you talk about repairing IMEIs here. It's questionably illegal even if you're "repairing" it. If you're cloning it, it's super federally illegal.
I'd word it in a way of "halp, somehow I zeroed my IMEI and I need to write back the exact same IMEI and definitely not some other IMEI on a phone I have because I bought a bad IMEI phone on eBay". Even then I think mods would raise a stink.
