Hi and thank you for reading my message.
I'm having trouble updating my nightlies, so I could really use some help troubleshooting the issue.
For context, I'm on a oneplus 3 that's rooted and encrypted...and I'm running TWRP 3.03.
The problem: I am stuck on the February 8, 2017 nightly and cannot update.
Here's what I tried:
- Downloading and installing the latest nightly through settings
- Flashing the downloaded nightly through TWRP
And, here's what I'm getting in return (via TWRP):
Initial message: "unable to mount storage"
During flashing: "updater process ended with error:7"
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello,
I am brand new to the rooting/modifying process but managed to successfully root and install cyanogenmod 10.2.0 on my device a couple days ago, thanks to a newbie-friendly forum found on this website.
I searched for a cyanogenmod update using the auto-installer and found, today, that there is a newer version available, 10.2.1. Problem is, when I proceed with the installation, the process commences (seemingly without a hitch) but when the phone finishes rebooting, the phone info shows I am still using the 10.2.0 version of cyanogenmod.
I am confused as to why the installation is failing to update my phone and would appreciate any guidance!! I realize there are ways to manually update, but I would rather first understand why the auto-updater is not working before I try to mess with it manually.
Thanks!
Hi,
I'm completely new to customROMs at all, so please bear with me..
So, first I tried to flash Cyanogenmod 13 nightly on my G3 which failed with "system partition has unexpected contents after ota update". At this point I was unable to get past the "LG powered by Android" boot screen, but I figured that was okay, since the install failed. I was running Android 5.0 beforehand and after a quick Google search I decided to try CM 12.1 first.
So I started again with wiping the device and installing CM 12.1 which succeeded. However, I still couldn't get past the LG boot screen. I tried wiping and reinstalling CM 12.1 several times with no success.
I was following the official guide rooting my phone and using LG G3 AutoRec-Lollipop to install TWRP.
I don't really care about my data (it's all in the cloud anyway), but I'd like to get my phone to work again. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
what's your current twrp version?
Hi! I am running the newest nightly of the LineageOS (14.1-20170220-nightly-bullhead) on my Nexus 5X with the newest twrp 3.0.2-2 and I always get the error "can't connect to camera" when I try to start the camera. It started with the update from the first nightly to the second nightly. After today's installation and no fix I made a clean install, same issue. I tried deleting cash same result. What can that be?
Hi,
I am currently on LineageOS 14.1 on my OP3, I am on the March 9th build, and to do so I had to flash the Open Beta 12 Firmware + Modem. But now I am trying to go to either VertexOS or FreedomOS, but after flashing either rom, my phone is unable to connect to WiFi. It says that it is an Authentication Error and a message saying "Password may be incorrect" pops up on the bottom, even though it isnt. I have tried flashing 4.1.0 firmware before flashing VertexOS but that does not help either. But when i restore my TWRP backup to LineageOS, the wifi works normally. Is there anyway to fix this?
Currently have twrp. I backed up, wiped cache delvik data, then downloaded Lineage 15.1 nightly, tried installing but got error code 7. Saying device is incompatible. I remembered i got this error when i first did this over a year but i cant remember how i did it at all.
I followed their guide here How to Fix Error 7 While Installing Lineage OS but no luck.
Is there something im missing???
Resolved. Please close.
And how?
