Hi guys,
I just tried to install Firefox OS on my Fairphone. I followed the instructions at:
developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Firefox_OS_build_prerequisites
When it comes to "Configuring the B2G build for a mobile device" (see developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Preparing_for_your_first_B2G_build), I don't know what to do.
The fairphone doesn't appear in the list of the supported devices.
Can anyone help me? Has anyone further information about the Fairphone being supported by Mozilla?
Thanks in advance!
Check this, the problem:

The Fairphone is definitely NOT a supported device by Mozilla and doubt it will ever receive official support by mozilla. They are focusing on a small set of devices and sometimes it even seems hard for Geeksphone to even get support for their official, Mozilla endorsed "Developer Preview" Phones (see the Geeksphone forums and B2G bug reports).
That said, the Fairphone people seem quite engaged and Firefox OS is making great progress in some areas. The might someday be an unofficial version of Firefox OS you might be able to compile and install on the Fairphone. The issues mentioned by the poster above will have to be sorted out for that to happen.
Okay, thank you guys so much!
It's a pitty that it isn't clear whether, when and how the fairphone may run Firefox OS.
But I see,

Hey,
ASUS has made a full Android 4.2.2 version for the vivo tab rt available. Unfortunately there isn't a way to flash it onto the tablet because of secure boot etc. I've seen someone mentioning that an older uefi version was hackable.
So maybe if you put the old uefi version somehow back on there, you might be able to boot that android version.
I wish people didn't post stuff they can'i back up. If you don't know the answer don't post. Does anyone know if it can be done?

Microsoft Secure Boot Golden Key is online, is this the start of a new life for the VivoTab RT? :
Maybe someone will port it over.
The Android version of the VivoTab RT TF600T is ASUS Transformer Pad TF502T. On the Asus website the Kernel Code for Android 4.2.1 can still be found (http://www.asus.com/support/Download/28/1/0/17/32/).
Tegra3 - it looks good.

I've restored the original windows 8 RT image on this tablet but is unuseless, I can't navigate, I can't use the store, I can't update, it returns always errors...must we trah it?
Have anyone RT 8.1, RT 8.1 still works with internet?

I have a Galaxy Tab3 10.1 tablet I would like to install Windows OS or ubuntu on as I have read it is possible and x86 architecture. I cannot seem to accomplish this. Also this is purely experimental and don't really care about this tablet all that much. Or if anybody Any help would be very appreciated with this or if anybody is aware of a way to run pc based software
You should have posted this in the Q&A section.
You can't install Windows on the tab 3 for now.
However, you can install T3buntu (Ubuntu for the tab 3), this post explains everything: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2573441
hello,
I hope i am not posting something wrong here... new member here.
Right now i am using CUBE i10 dual boot. But i deleted the dual boot, the partition, create 1 partition and install only windows 10 pro. all the drivers is good and no problem so far.
If there is no guide how to do it and people want it, i can make the guide,
I've just download official Remix OS for CUBE i10. when i extract it, the files are android files.
Is there possible if i can get a guide how to install this on my CUBE i10 tablet? I have tried the standart Remix OS for Pc on my tablet, it run ok, but no touch screen support.
so, i believe the official CUBE i10 Remix Os should support touch screen.
Is there any one have tried to clean install this Remix into tablet? If this is working, i will delete the windows OS and only using Remix OS.
Hope someone can help me to install this official Remix OS for CUBE i10, via windows or via anyway possible.
Thank you.
How you delete android partions ? I want install clear Windows , keyboard case Works ?

Hi there,
I read the forum rules, I am still not entirely sure if this post belongs here, sorry about that if not.
I own a Nokia 6.1; it is an android one device, I am looking to remove android from it.
I looked at the websites from /e/, ubuntu touch, sailfish; none of these has official support for this phone,
so I would attempt to do it by myself, and my techinal knowlege about phones is zero, hence the hesitation.
I want to ask if anyone here has managed to ditch android from this model, either /e/, ubuntu touch, sailfish,
graphene, lineage would be fine by me.
Cheers.
There is a halium port for this device that uses a generic halium system image. It works pretty well, check it out.

Also, there is an Official LineageOS port for this device.
There is also an \e\ GSI. I haven't tried it, so I don't know how it is.

Thank man
