Am I screwed or can this be fixed with a fast boot?
If you must know this happened by using TWRP terminal command to get to fastboot, then going into Kindle Fire HD Restore Tool and using only option 1. Restore recovery and bootloader ( Only 1. not 2.Restore OS). After that I switched the boot back to normal and restarted.
Stupidity on my part I know, but can It be fixed?
P.S. I already ordered a factory cable.

What happens when you plug it in? If it turns on, hold the power button for about ten seconds, and come back about 2-3 hours later.
It should be mostly charged if not completely charged by that point.

Did you do what I recommended? What happens when you turn on the kindle now? Do you see a screen with a blue and white kindle fire logo?

I tried telling you twice what you need to do, so let me explain it again...
The Frequently Asked Questions post I directed you to clearly explains in several places that failure to wipe data (factory reset) in recovery before flashing a ROM will cause problems. It also tells you that when users revert back to stock without wiping data, they get stuck at the Kindle Fire logo (Q:16). When FireFireFire gets overwritten by the stock bootloader (which is what happens when you revert to stock), there is no access to fastboot for changing the bootmode to recovery so that data can be wiped (which is the only way to fix the problem). Also, without FireFireFire installed, the only way to access fastboot is through the shell (which is obviously not possible in this case) OR with a factory cable. I believe I hinted to the need for a factory cable in one of my previous posts?
So try to pay attention to the information that is available to you or you'll risk getting yourself into another situation that you cannot get out of in your own capacity, and you'll then have to rely on the accuracy of the information given to you (and the limited patience) from a******s like me

When I plug the device in with the factory cable the screen starts
Flashing on and off
Plug your device into USB (oem cable) and hold the power button until it shuts off and let it charge overnight.

You're going to have to be a little more specific. Just saying "i can not install twrp" doesn't give anyone any clue as to why.

First, check your driver installation or use SoupKit. If you have completely eliminated driver related problems as part of the problem, then you might want to consider whether or not you have a working factory/fastboot cable.
I installed Soupkit hoping this would soolve my problem, but I get into the Soupkit utility to try to install TWRP on my bricked kindle fire that's stuck at the stock boot up, but it can't recognize my device. I tried to hard reset the kindle fire, and use 3 different cords and even tried different usb ports, is there any other way?
All help appreciated! :fingers-crossed:

i ordered friday, and was in my mailbox yesterday, monday
ships from new mexico? and is very good.
also i'd recommend getting a 5pin microusb to female USB adaptor, so you can plug in just about everything.

SoupKit.
Where is a working download link of SoupKit? All links give me silly adverts.......
As the title states, my 2nd Gen Fire TV 's ethernet port stopped working.
I'm not sure when this happened as it was also connected to the wifi before so whenever it stopped working it must have just changed over to the wifi unbeknownst to me.
Anyway, I have an ethernet cable hooked up to it but it doesn't recognize it.
I have checked the ethernet cable on another Fire TV that I have and it works fine on that one.
I was just curious if this is a common problem with these boxes or is there anything I can check or try to get it working again?
Both of my Fure TVs are rooted although that shouldn't matter other than possibly making them easier to check or change stuff on.

From twrp do a full wipe and reflash fireos firmware.
You're ethernet should then work again.

So you think it is a software problem?
I was thinking it may be a hardware issue since it was working fine and then just stopped all of a sudden.
I will definitely try your suggestion though as I plan on unlocking the bootloader on this one as well.

Yes, sometimes ethernet/wifi drivers and files can become corrupted.
Flashing fresh firmware should sort your problem.
Let me know how you get on.

If you're not unlocked or don't want to unlock your bootloader just flash rbox latest prerooted again. This should solve your ethernet issues.
Leave the ethernet cable disconnected whist you do so and complete registration via wifi til you get to home screen. Then enter network settings and plug your ethernet cable back in.

So unlocked the bootloader and flashed the latest stock OS 5.2.7.7 and Magisk and plugged in the ethernet cable after setting everything up over Wi-Fi and it still doesn't recognize that there is an ethernet cable plugged in.
I know the ethernet cable is good as it works perfectly with my other Sloane Fire Tv.
Any other suggestions?
Are there any commands I could run in ADB to check or enable the ethernet port?

Hey , I don't think there is im afraid . If you're ethernet isn't showing up after reinstalling firmware its looking more like a hardware fault after all.
You could disconnect WiFi enable usb debugging and run:
logcat
via adb to see what errors are showing .
