Just bought this device and noticed that the apps sound doesn't work ( such as youtube/watsup sound msgd) and sound recorder seems not to function as well) but incoming rings work OK and the phone calls are OK,
it is a LeTV 1 pro X800 device.

Just wondering if its normal for the Headset of the NOTE 2 to have the the microphone always enabled ? Even when I just listen to music. Because every caugh etc. I do I hear through the microphone as well. Shouldn't the microphone only be enabled if needed, in a phone call for example ? I have not experienced that with any other phone so far.
Is it normal ?

i have LG g3 D855 sprint version.
i found the microphone not working during call but if i use speaker phone it works flawless even for video recording it is recording the voice.
except for normal call and voice recording the microphone not detect the sound or what i dont know.
i checked with other sound recorder also not sensing the sound but if i blow on the mic area it sences the sound.
what could be the problem?

This just started happening to me today out of nowhere. Were you able to resolve this issue? It had been working fine for 6 months prior.
I've same issue but inverse. My MIC does not work when in Speaker mode

I have d722 lg g3 smartphone with 7.1.1 android, LineAgeOS 14.1 unofficial.
For 2 weeks everything work great.

Since yesterday, I can't make regular calls,
When make a call, can't hear dialing, the call is answered by other side, and i cant hear the other side person and the other side can't hear me.
Same issue when the other side call me. (The phone is ringing, I am answering, but no sound)
But,
When making VoIP call like in whatsapp, calls work OK.
For me its look like hardware failure.
Can someone tell me what is the hardware flow of a carrier call ?
I mean , where threw pass the audio when a call accure.

I just got vivo v9....i installed some call recorder softwares but no one working properly...it records few calls but not every calls....so help me on this topic....what should i do.....thanks

the device have inbuilt call recording feature and just call someone and check the option of call recording !
But i want automatic call recorder....i cant record all calls manually
Got my unit from US. JIO does not provide eSIM for this. Luckily, Airtel does. Took about a week to make it fully functional n transfer all my stuff n the 107 apps from my old Redmi Note 4x. Minor glitches are still there .... Google to do some fine tunings....waiting.....
When in any call - voice or video or whatsapp call - the other party can't hear my voice IF I OPT FOR SPEAKER MODE AT MY END
It is quite irritating. Either I have to use earphones for such video calls or simply disable speaker n use only the ear piece.
No issue with all the microphones n speakers. All working fine. It is only a software issue. Waiting for a solution.....
