I have a problem with my HTC desire 820,
the problem is: the phone turned off and when i tried to turn it on it won't and when i try connect it to the charger it's give me a orange blanking led.
somethings i had tried:
-connect it to power source (without a battery)
-clean the motherboard with alcohol
-leave it on the charger more than 8 hours
and all of this attempts getting failed

Can you boot into fastboot? if you can, then Flash a proper custom recovery. i think there's a problem with your custom recovery (if you have custom recovery installed).
Does somebody found a solution for this problem?

Well, my desire rebooted yesterday because of overheating (as usual).
But this time it got stuck at the white screen with green HTC logo. Rebooted it 30 times but no progress.
I can get into Bootloader (0.93) but when i press RECOVERY, it reboots and the bootup screen is there again. Waited for one hour but nothing happened. It´s like i can´t use the RECOVERY function.
Tried to install the original froyo from Windows. Got to the step when the setupprogram reboots the phone into Bootloader, but then connection between my Desire and my PC is lost. The setup program only recognizes my Desire when i´m in FASTBOOT, as soon as i switch to bootloader the program can´t find the Desire.
Should i have the bootloader drivers installed on my PC or the HTC Sync drivers? or both? none of them?
And what´s wrong with my phone?

got it working anyway, tried 3000 different ruu´s and the last of them worked.

i unlocked my Bootloader with HTCdev, installed supersu and ClockWorkMod Recovery,
i copied the venom rom on the One X storage, flashed the Boot.img using fastboot and tried to Recover using CWM, but got a failure Error,
so the Device ended up in a Boot Loop.
That happened all yesterday.
I started up the Phone today, tried to get into Recovery Mode, got the HTC Bootscreen, but it´s not starting up again after trying to reboot / Bootloader, the Screen is staying Black, the Charging LED stays off.
I kept it on the Wall charger for one hour, used two different Cables, but i have no idea what happened here.
Do you have any clue?
can you still get it to power on or boot into bootloader ? (leave it in the original charger for about 3 hours to be on safe side, the led might not light up although its charging)
Its very unlikely that you bricked the phone from the recovery.
You can try rebooting by holding the power for 15 seconds
Got it into the Bootloader using the Pins on the Back and a cut USB-Cable with some Insulating Tape, seems like something with the Power over USB is wrong.
I got a Fastboot USB Connection, but i have no idea how to get the Venom ROM flashed properly.
NOTE: Don't keep the usb wires connected for long it can cook your phone/battery
check the phone's firmware version: fastboot getvar version-main, and check the radio
flash the corresponding ruu and check that your phone can recharge through normal usb port and charge it to 80%(if not then fix the hardware problem)
then follow the venom installation guide without missing any steps
EDIT:Im not sure which venom are you talking about but if you mean't Beatmod Venomous the instructions are clear (make sure you flash the included boot.img before flashing the rom) Or maybe Viperx by Venom the instructions are in the 5th post ?

please help me with this issue, I saw an update notification at put my desire 816 dual sim to update it and went out, after I came back I noticed that the phone is stuck on HTC logo!
I didnt do any mod on this phone, not rooted and bootloader is closed and it was on stock rom
-when i press power key+volume up for about 1 min, it turns off
-when pressing power key+volume down it goes to recovery(or bootloader menu, I dont know what it is)
-and also when I plug in the charger, led light goes on and it charges alright
from bootloader menu i cant do anything, i even pressed factory reset, is starts to do some things but is gets stuck with an error and hangs there forever, it seems that there is no rom on the phone to reset back to!
please help me with this guys, my phone is new, I know some things about modding, so if there is any way to fix this please tell, or is it hardware issue?!
(the model is the dual sim one with snapdragon cpu)
is it possible to install a recovery like twrp? because I dont have root and i cant get to settings for enabling usb debugging mod!
please give me links to roms and twrp, anything that could help

My P8000 (running Cm12.1, Twrp) is stuck in a bootloop because of xposed. I know how to fix this, if I could enter recovery, but I can't because my battery is to low. I only can enter the bootloader (where you can choose recovery mode, fastboot mode or Normal boot). But if I choose one of these nothing happens and the screen turns off. If I plug it to the charger it boots and is stuck in the bootloop, and draining the battery.
Anyone an idea how to get my elephone charged?
If a factory reset is necessary, that's no problem, just tell me how to get there!

Hi guys,
My brother made me change my PIN code and I forgot it (dumb, I know) then I ran the bootloader then I pressed recovery mode (I thaught that this will reset my pin) then the mobile went black and I couldn't turn it on and the LED lamb didn't turn on .... I really got freaked out then LED lamb was stable for a while when connected to the charger then now it's actually doesn't turn on ( I didn't try to make it charge for a long time)
P.S I didn't root it or use any custom roms
