It's a Vodafone-branded M9. Therefore, you might need to wait longer for updates than users who own unbranded models. The unbranded ones are already on a newer security patch than your phone. Blame Vodafone and their modified firmware for the delay. It's not HTC's fault.

Hide Your IMEI immediately. It's not good idea to post it anywhere.
mainly because I keep on getting the error, "Error 130: model id incorrect", and I want to flash the official unlocked RUU:
http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m9/news/
fastboot results:
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_himauhl

(bootloader) version-main: 4.28.401.3

Please read the ReadMe thread. You're trying to flash a US RUU on a European M9.
I purchase two HTC phones. One I gave to my girlfriend and she got the oreo update. Mine never got it. So i tried every way possible to get it to work. In the process damaged the stock andriod and had to use a custom rom(Lineage 14.1). I want to either get back to stock 7.1 or be able to go to Oreo. Can someone help getting back to stock please here is the info from my phone:

Check out the official RUU's from the firmware pages and u should find an official HTC RUU to run to return to full stock. Make sure to get the right model and cid or go supercid.
I will try it now.
I would like to update my HTC10 to “Pixel Experience for HTC 10” or “aicp” since my employer will ban Android version < 8 soon. I have installed Lineage 14.1 (Nougat 7.1.2), last twrp is installed. My bootloader variables are:
fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_pmeuhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) max-download-size: 1579200000
(bootloader) serialno: FA732BNxxxxx
(bootloader) current-slot:
(bootloader) imei: xxx61075xxxxxx
(bootloader) version-main: 2.41.401.4
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-baseband: [email protected]
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 2PS620000
(bootloader) cid: HTC__034
Do i have to flash firmware, if yes what version ? and then the stock Oreo or direct the target rom? I don't want to risk to brick the phone, therefore sorry for that many questions.
Would really appreciate to be able to install a working Pie to avoid throwing away my working HTC10.
Thanks

Flash the complete 2.41.401 RUU, reboot and enter the OS, setup Wi-Fi and update officially to oreo. Flash TWRP and a desired pie rom.
